Spot on IFU...that is what we are up against unfortunately.
+++give them the $1.2m to resign and let's start moving this company forward.
NOPE...
Get out now and prepare to get clocked with a clawback suit.
They are entitled to nothing further but a Ronin sized boot in their behind they can take with them as a parting gift.
The TNT debacle was the first red flag that CJ was about as sharp as a bowling ball in the legal arena.
On a positive note, he does excel at being a slick ripoff artist. His longevity makes the executive producer of the American Greed TV program blush.
I agree.
Bid should have labeled his post: WHEN FACTS JUST DON'T COOPERATE....followed by his list.
Choose any one on the list and have at it. I am curious to see how that fits your narrative.
Nicely done Threes!!!!
Call me ever the optimist, but not only do I see these ripoff artists coughing up some serious jack via a Clawback suit, I can't even see them collecting a dime of their golden parachutes.
Prepare for some very ugly financial times Swartz et al. Get your checkbooks ready. The DS judgement was just the warmup act.
+++ Where does that leave us.
Voting No for the outright sale @ $180M or any amount in that neighborhood.
That type of buyout would not fly with the majority. Not even close.
+++if the IP is somewhere in the middle there are still those that would stop at nothing
STOP AT NOTHING TO: Keep it close to nothing and continue to fund their financial picnic by slow playing the advancement....(ie you know who)
Or
STOP AT NOTHING TO: Monetize it whereby we all get to take part in the benefit...(door #2)
I will have to think this one over more carefully now.
TOG...
Aren't you going to miss the spirited discussion on what the heck the latest PR that was just broadcast really meant?
Imagine a Peregrine whereby PR's don't require an Underdog decoder ring.
I know I will miss the confusion and double speak. Partner in the upcoming year translated to mean we pay for someone to play around with our compound...stuff like that. It is hard to imagine the company without it...downright scary to have a leader that communicates clearly.
I didn't get the impression Ronin group labeled the "PS Platform " a failure.
In the event some shareholders got their feelings hurt by them reiterating that all human trials haven't panned out, perhaps it is past time to get over it and begin looking forward to the next generation I/O combo possibilities.
That is where the partnering interest will come from if there is external interest.
Offers may start coming in after the changing of the guard if King's ASTRONOMICAL assertion has a lick of validity.
Stay tuned, the truth is about to make a special guest appearance before year end I suspect.
Yep.... partner the PS platform with a sense of urgency.
Can't wait to see the market reaction and Ronin's plans on how to leverage the upfront money in the event there is real interest that leads to a deal finally being inked.
Good times on the horizon.
After 12 years of science, it is put your pencils down time and turn in your findings. The valuation lies somewhere between zero (what the market currently values the platform at and ASTRONOMICAL).
Now it is time to see what someone is willing to pay to advance the ball forward....It will not be on the shareholders dime, that is all but a certainty now...like it or not.
Sure.
I believe Ronin is licking their chops at upfront cash via a partnership for the PS technology and rolling the resources right into AVID to finally get it out of first gear. A professional assessment should give them a foundation on which to start negotiations from.
Don't shareholders get a vote on a buyout if it comes to that? We need to find out the real interest level in the PS platform as it stands before assigning valuations.
The share price is just flapping around in the breeze for now until the uncertainty vanishes.
I hope and believe your "corrected" share price estimate upswing after the vote is conservative.
The institutions will climb aboard shortly after the Ronin victory and the go forward map is concisely conveyed.
If there is any real BP interest, a $1-2B valuation could be quickly realized via a Ronin orchestrated deal with the pre-clinical results alone and a viable growing and well managed AVID.
It is not a stretch. We have no clue as to what the interest level is now.
Detractors would say none based on the share price, I don't necessarily believe that. The poison pill has prevented any "reasonable buyout offers".
Why isn't the valuation in the $1-2B range today then?
Please explain your logic behind the disconnect.
I am curious to see how you are able to reconcile the difference between our $150M market cap to $1-2B you believe it should be today.
++++PPHM should be $1-2 Billion now
Nope.
No valuation that employs a lick of logic could get us there today based on the crappy position the retard brigade has put us in.
However, watch how fast the share price recovers from these stupid levels after Ronin wins the vote.
All doubt will be removed as to what the drag on the share price has been.
The misery ends shortly.
I can't see where $1-2B market cap is justified at this point short of a partnership with upfront $.
We are flying blind based on current managements silent treatment.
Hopefully we figure out exactly what we have here before year end with a professional assessment and honest communication.
Geo....
Ronin is the only lifeboat now. It is what it is.
Riding this to zero was an unpleasant and distinct possibility before they came on the scene....and it would have occurred rather quickly with our current jerks idea of financial management. It was just the math of going it alone and gobs of dilution. We were toast, period end of story.
We have a fighting chance now.
Jake's market cap estimate (which is somewhere close to where we should be valued at) will put a nice floor under this operation to head north from when prudent business decisions are made going forward.
Exactly....and thankfully, there will be no door #3.
Better yet...look how few buyers are stepping up until this mess is resolved.
This should come as no surprise.
+++ I've got a feeling they are reducing their position and are the force behind the drop in the share price.
Yep....and Stephen King is the front runner for biotech CEO of the year.
+++And in November they should be jailed and rot behind bars.
They will most likely be busy pawning off assets in anticipation of getting their financial clocks cleaned via a claw back lawsuit that is all but certain to land in their laps.
The fun just starts with their dismissal.
+++I would be interested in knowing how the vote shakes out.
The vote for Ronin group should closely resemble the lopsided percentage that we witnessed when Saddam was running Iraq.
I can't imagine even family members still holding shares voting for King and crew at this stage.
Keep....
I would strongly suspect that Ronin will have plans in place to take the ball and immediately run with it after the vote. That is how disciplined outfits roll.
These guys aren't going to sit around and pick their noses after they begin running the show.
They simply don't have any time to waste after the mess they inherit.
Make a plan....work the plan...stick to the plan and openly communicate.
King and company dug their own grave.
Word on the street is Ronin is constructing an impressive:
"Under New Management" sign to go on the front lawn of Peregrine Headquarters.
I am more than ready to see a series of positive, real announcements that get this share price out of the never ending toilet.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend, in the very least.
The current management are the shareholders enemy.
286 Shares...yeah, he wants to partner and forgo his ridiculous salary. Kick this goon to the curb.
If the management doesn't step up to show support for the company now and buy a big wad of shares with their spoils, why in the world should anyone else buy the stock now?
They just got asked in a public forum to resign. That doesn't happen every day.
A wet paper bag shows more fight.
Since their positon is basically defenseless, they chose to hide. The conclusion that I arrive at is that Ronin's scathing letters are true.
The better part comes after.
I am curious to see what we really are in possession of as shareholders. What in the world is the fmv of Bavi and the PS technology as is....tomorrow? I pray it is more than zero as is currently being reflected.
Isn't he the "these things take time" fella?
His deal making skills won't be missed all that much I would venture.
He definitely hasn't gone lights out signing AVID business if I am matching the correct name to the position.
I would guess that Joe is on the Ronin's dismissal list along with Lytle after the changing of the guard. I don't see how his services will be needed along with our deal making stud that was conveniently shifted over to AVID. What exactly has the "these things takes time" dude accomplished with his bloated salary?
Time to clear the deck and spread the love around.
Fresh starts are sometimes just what the doctor ordered.
A Clawback Suit just may pay our esteemed BOD an unwelcome visit shortly.
The universe has a built in way of evening the score sometimes.
Man is this gonna' get ugly for the robber barons.
Public humiliation coupled with loss of income followed by a Clawback Suit.
Couldn't happen to a nicer group of fellas.
POST OF THE DAY LEAD CANDIDATE.
I am beginning to question if the fools even have the audacity to show up at the shareholder meeting this year.
What is the point now.
The Ronin group are just a bunch of self serving tricksters here to steal and rob the shareholders blind.
They are plotting to pawn off our technology. Their badmouthing of the prior failed trials and acknowledgement of our cash strapped position is evidence of such.
King and crew are good guys. They mean well.
Judges love them, Wall street loves them, BP loves them.
Bad time to upset the apple cart while the operation is hitting on all cylinders.
What I have heard is something equivalent to Charlie Brown's Teacher.
Visionary for sure.
As sure as the sun rises in the east.
Hate high PPHM share prices? Keep rooting for current management to stay in charge.
Duh.....
+++ we call on Peregrine's independent directors, Carlton M. Johnson Jr., David H. Pohl and Eric S. Swartz, to resign their Board seats immediately.
First time I heard that suggested.
Like I said, they can leave peacefully or in pieces.
Their choice.
Direct talk by Ronin is a good thing. How refreshing.
Rev....management can leave either peacefully...via resignation or in pieces via a Ronin vote boot to their behind as a well deserved parting gift.
Those are the options as I see it.
They have built a solid case for their dismissal.
I can't fathom any other positive outcome for long-term shareholders.
Short of a last minute miracle partnership before the vote, Realist is correct, it is Ronin or the share price gets clocked from this level.
Hey, perhaps the Exosomes mirage deal magically materializes out of left field. It was coming right up according to King.
Happy Friday
my screw-up....
In our world of Trillions and Quadrillions (derivatives), billions start appearing to me like millions.
I will be more careful next time.
$2,000,000,000
Almost as bad as having to fork over all the money for the loan screw-up.
Why can't these clowns just resign their positions and go away?
