You mean, they pulled their heads out of their ass's and started considering hard, cold facts?
It does raise some questions doesn't it? This seems odd that the bod didn't announce it on the ntgl investors page or PR a statement. It's not good when the announcement comes from the president's personal FB page. Whatever, you're right if they go down for securities fraud and he knew, he stands a good chance of going down regardless.
Correction ntgl- vp, not from the company, just his position I believe.
The part about finding capital... You mean, like Royal Capital? I'd focus on programming too if I just figured out what was going on.
"Effectively immediately, I have decided to step down from the role of President with NanoTech Gaming as well as acting board member. In addition, Richard Baker has decided that he does not wish to join the board of directors. I appreciate everyone's support in light of this very difficult decision. I have had a great deal of uncertainty with regards to how to both run the company and also get programming done, and I feel that getting the programming done is a more important task and that there are other folks who are more experienced with making decisions on the BOD with regards to funding and seeking capital for continued operations."
Ahigh just resigned from ntgl, bod's.
Ntek could create massive buy in on roku if they stuck with 4mbps rates. See the comments? And the writer Denison sounds familiar. If the rates are really 15-20 Mbps (the most recent published #) which would be believable, all the objections over data caps and bandwidth capabilities are all valid points.
The "visually lossless 4K" lingo at 4mbps hook got me a few years back. I, like an idiot just believed everything they spewed and bought into the unfounded hype. To me that was a huge claim and made their service viable as a go to service if they added content. Now they are claiming triple that number. Wtf?
I find it interesting you can never find ANY trace of these companies online and NTEK NEVER validates who they are. I should have seen it earlier
Was the 4mbps ruse a stock selling ploy?
oops.. so much for 4mpbs, not even close.
Nope. Didn't need to sign up for an account. Still don't to access the trailers, just go right to the menu, top right - those that stole the film did the same thing because NTEK posted Terminator G the exact same way as mp4's.
Ntek may have watermarked their films but if they post them like they did Terminator Geniysis, they are TOTALLY UNSECURE and PENETRABLE and
WTH does "Nvidia Shield" have to do with UltraFlix security?
Currently, the only full films you can access from UltraFlix are NOT on their website, so although the trailers are totally UNSECURE, their films are SECURE.
Get the facts straight please.
If you want I can walk you through the process. 5 steps.
Cool keep us posted. My larger point in posting that was - Ultraflix made it as easy as they possibly could have to enable someone to pirate the film.
"Yup. I downloaded the 8GB freebie of Terminator Genisys in 4K from ultraflix and it looked fantastic for what it was, as even though it had some extremely obvious banding the level of detail exceeded what I could see in Blu-ray caps. Having the images be at 2160p to begin with means that even though the severe compression of streaming will throw away a lot of info, there's still enough left over to pip 1080p Blu-ray to the post in some respects and it'll wipe the floor with HD streams."

False.
The truth is being told.
Care to support your claim?
Goodbuddy wrote: "Everybody knows about Ultraflix"...
False.
Well, wouldn't you try to stretch the roku pump out for days as opposed to doing it all on one day? Gotta sell shares so those with convertible debentures can liquidate. Somebody is making $ at 52 week lows and it isn't the ones soaking up the "Cheapies".
Your excitement over losing money and purchasing "Cheapies" which is only an accurate term until the next 52 week low (a daily occurrence around here) reminds me of the WB film 300 that ironically never showed up on Ultraflix:
Epic chest beating fervor and bravery by the 300, but they all end up dead. Good entertainment however.
As of 12/4/15 Play.google.com Ultraflix app 5-10k installs. David Foley 2014 Nuvola video still front and center. Are we to assume ntek abandoned their android app?
Quiz: which one is real?
A. Royal Capital Group
B. Fairy God Mother
C. Tooth Fairy
D. Unicorns
E. None of the above
You seem pretty sure about this - already have it worked out in your mind.
Sure about this? or are we living in a shorting-fantasy-bubble?
maybe you forgot to add the IMO tag..
wtf
Totally agree, however, I wish we could stop using the name "Royal Capital Group" because, as we all know, this company exists only in the minds of NTEK insiders.
In reality, it's a unicorn company - it DOESN'T EXIST!!!! lol. There is no company named Royal Capital Group, good grief.
Some folks gonna have to add $ to their brokerage accounts just to pay for the sell fee and take the loss..
Nearly every day we watch this stock for over two years now, we see
"I just scored some $.0xx's"?
"Thanks for the Cheapies"?
It just doesn't end. Pride and greed will be the financial ruin of many.
One fact I am positive of, every day here recently, is a new 52 week low.
Can anyone prove Royal Capital Group is a real company?
I'll help, NO.
Business License? SOS registry, CA or Nev? Anything at all?
NO, no, no, and NO.
Did NTeK try to cover this up?
YeS,
fact, undeniable. Show me your facts, let's compare evidence.
Convertible Debt Death Spiral?
YES
Blood red. If you're surprised, what does that tell you?
Is it legal to make up a name of a company (Roycap) and call it unrelated in your filings, when you know full well it's David Foley?
In what world is this not fraud?
Sad is the correct descriptor. Excellent post.
I wonder if it's occurred to anyone (not referring to those interested in facts and reality), that after the amazing Roku news, NTEK stocked actually went down after on high volume. Hmmm...
You'd almost be forced to blame shorts at that point wouldn't you? Because the alternative to blaming shorts would then be to blame dumping, and who would be dumping at 52 week lows?
Longs, you've got two choices here. Which one can you see concrete evidence of day in and day out?
1. Blame shorting.
2. Blame dumping.
Excuse for dumping?
"Who in their right minds would be dumping at these levels?!"
"Only an idiot would sell at these levels!"
Your answer:
They started the dump before the 'ol pump today I see.
You should tell Wong he may want to publicize the app on roku. Or, see how long it takes him. Maybe he doesn't even know lol.
Maybe he's saving the pump for tomorrow's dump?
Nah, ntek's style is release a PR after trading hours, dump the next day.
A bone to the Outerwebz:

You're welcome. You think I'm a basher, I just stick to the facts...

Never thought I would get it though.
Wanted more badly while Black Friday sales would be going on and people will be looking at UltraFlix at Best Buy.
Wanted to be Loaded Heavily with NTEK shares setting up for Monday the 30th of November Market open.
It's going to be WILD!
Go NTEK ..."
How'd "Monday the 30th of November Market Open" work out for ya? Way to grab the "Cheapies".
All it takes is getting a few to install the tool bar. Companies complain all the time, they've never received more unique visits per day and their rating goes down. The ranking is meaningless.
Somebody did pay the $164 a month or whatever it is for Ultraflix to receive an Alexa "certified" rating (you're welcome) which again, is a waste of money for the ranking alone. It's valuable for some of the metrics if used properly but given what we know about ntek's lack of web design prowess, the metrics may not help them in that regard.
I'm all for a good group hug over an invalid rating but meanwhile the pps continues to spiral down..
They ought to publish ntek's death spiral in business school text books and manuals.
Well said, ntek destroyed any chance of this thing recovering with FoleyCap. Looking forward to the "Happy Holidays from ntek" email posts. The irony..
All they have to do for some, is breathe one iota of a future development and their base holds onto the shares possibly buys their dumped shares - they probably count on it. All I can say is FoleyCap appreciates you doing that. No matter what SH's do and how low the pps goes, FoleyCap still wins. It's how this works.
News flash, they don't care how low this goes.. They still make money dumping discounted shares.
.004's today?
If I were trying to defraud or harm somebody financially, I'd tell them to buy ntek shares, or hold on to them.
Honesty and facing facts will never steer anybody the wrong way.
I'm shocked the ntek, due to Royal capital group, isn't being investigated (maybe it already is?), when you start reading about convertible debt scams on the OTC, this is as about as textbook as you can get. It screams "please investigate us for fraud".
If nothing wrong was done, nobody should blink twice about an investigation.
This is not a great find nor is complimentary to Ultraflix. Did you read it? Or just saw that cnet mentioned Ultraflix?
Seriously, the excitement over Ultraflix simply being mentioned is in most cases, silliness.
The fact that cnet has no idea about the number of Ultraflix offerings let alone ntek's claims of bandwidth requirements etc., smacks of:
1. Ntek never bothered to let top consumer electronics e mags and writers know about Ultraflix's selling points. It's been years of this.
NTeK, it's called a "media guide"...
Seriously, what is the matter with you? Are you trying to keep Ultraflix a secret?
Lol why am I addressing ntek?
2. Supposedly Wong is paid to do media relations but he's busy with his FB group or something, who knows. Maybe he needs a shareholder to ask him to send an email to the writer.
3. The fact that shareholders may react and send emails to cnet, that's nice but it makes ntek look like they're incompetent. When katzmaier (cnet) wrote about Ultraflix a long time ago shareholders were emailing and tweeting him then. I can see that's gone well..
What a shame that this (article posted below) did zero for the pps today. Outerwebz saw it and were giddy that "today was the day". There's always tomorrow. Tip: Best to stick to projections like 2017 will be the year.
Theee phrases trump this article:
1. Dilution
2. Royal Capital Group
3. Convertible Debt Death Spiral
Look them up, research and self verify.
Blankenship figured it out, lol. He basically said, sell or prepare yourself. The RS hasn't even occurred yet and look where we are..
Given the shear amount of converted shares that were handed to FoleyCap he/they are nowhere near close to being done with their dumping of discounted shares. Keep pretending it's not an issue by all means, but don't tell your friends and family you didn't know, only you choose the path of ignorance.
Nice article mentioning Ultraflix once:
"We think streaming will be the main way that people enjoy 4K,” he said, noting that Roku is poised to launch UltraFlix, a streaming service that specializes in 4K content."
http://www.multichannel.com/news/content/next-tv-roku-exec-we-dont-root-demise-pay-tv/395627
Depending on how Roku launches Ultraflix in regards to marketing, the pps MAY temporarily get a bump or pause in the death spiral (a real meaningful and accurate term here) but the rabid dilution machine will keep turning.
Goodbuddy you clearly don't understand the basics of web addresses and how easy ntek made it to pirate the full Terminator Genysis film.
First, nobody had and has to log in to view the full movie (now removed) and trailers. They came, stole the film, and won't be back unless there are more free full films. These are not customers.
Second once, a film has been stolen, they can simply start uploading it to be shared secretly or public. If ntek tracks IP addresses, that is not going to help because of VPN's used by anyone that doesn't want to get hacked or tracked. Watermarks? Doesn't matter if it's shared privately and if done publicly, they can't track it to anybody but the website that publishes it which illegally share films all the time and most get away with it.
Third, once shared NOBoDy would have a clue it came from Ultraflix as the web address link would be concealed. Even when you view it from the direct link, all traces of Ultraflix disappears from the screen except for the address bar.
The smart "kiddies" that figured it out right away that immediately focused on the direct link? They were not fixated on it because they were interested in Ultraflix.
My bad, the 720p trailer should read format: H.264, 1280 X 720
Current size 1280 X 720 (Actual)
That would be confusing, sorry.
