Was referring more to the stench coming from the short camp, but I'm sure you knew that
Stampede at 2:30??
Oh Hugo, when will you ever learn. Those points in that article are as old as the image of those Medieval Knights in the caption. What happened, even Seeking Alpha has even higher standards than to allow your insignificant points to be published and now you must resort to overseas trash journals to disseminate your lies?
It's evident that MSFT has put a lid on Sphere 3D. There is no credit to Glassware anywhere re MSFT's new focus on the cloud, no mention at all on any site re MSFT's new tech breakthroughs that obviously can be credited to ANY. Obviously the agreement between the two companies has a silence clause in it which implies MSFT wants to ensure no other company focuses on Sphere. That may be great for them but does nothing for our SP. I'm sure Sphere's management is aware of the rewards down the road but as a shareholder it's frustrating to see a lack of interest in this company that should be trading at multiples of its current value.
I just don't understand this short game. You borrow shares at a high interest rate, you spend all of your time trying to drive the SP down or even try and have the company go under. Seems easier to be long and wait for the stock to rise. I must be missing something, illogical play to me.
No Hugo, you twisted my words around, I never said Remote App is Glassware, you did
Please Hugo, don't insult me by suggesting I'm a short. I'm as long as it gets.
Looks like it has Glassware written all over it to me
It looks like potential investors want to see the numbers before moving in on Sphere, I don't get it either, I jumped in on this 2 years ago, I guess everyone is different.... The volatility due to short manipulation I'm sure worries potential investors as well.
These pests will probably hang around until the end of summer. We need financials of 2nd Quarter to be reported to drive the steak into their hearts, likely mid Aug.
More like wrist slashing for being so retarded.
Gotta love these late afternoon press releases. The shorts spend all morning driving the price down, happy longs scoop up cheap shares, and the price rebounds late in the day! Am I wrong or is this becoming a regular pattern?
Haven't you heard? Next to Cyrus and Sheldon, Hugo has the next biggest stake in ANY! He's just playing with us so he can acquire more shares at these discount prices. That's the only logical explanation to his behaviour, to not believe in this company at this stage would be just insane, but Hugo is a bright guy, he knows better than to short this company
Come on guys, let's give Hugo a break here. We should be thankful that the shorts are keeping the lid on this share price. I personally want to thank you directly Hugo for allowing me to purchase another 10000 shares today with that am dip below $4. Thank you!
Do we know with which 4?
Is that the Sphere 3D and Microsoft logos side by side on the invite? That can't be right, Sphere is a fake, it has no product since no one has seen Glassware. Better call the fraud authorities!
I think Viking has brought up a valid thing here. Can and techies comment on this company and how it differs from Sphere 3D? The stock rise is however impressive as it shows this kind of technology is liked by investors
Make that 2
Only company buying ANY is MSFT. They're attached by the cord and not going to cut their baby off anytime soon
I agree with everything you just said except for the time line. 5 years from now Sphere 3D will be a distant, but happy memory, for most of us here. Microsoft can't afford for this gem to stay independent for that long. By the end of this year we're all laughing on our way to the bank, IMO.
Now why would Sphere 3D, or any other company give you details about their contracts? That's why there are quarterly reporting of financials for companies. Have you asked Apple to provide you with contract financials and they've complied? Get real!
Remember, only 2 people bought all the shares in the last private placement, it may have been a "return of favour" type of transaction. Do we know who the two investors are?
Oh my, second snake working the long weekend, times are definitely desperate for the shorts. I'm still waiting for the SA article!!
For Hugo to be posting gibberish on a long weekend just confirms how desperate the shorts are. At this point, with all the concrete evidence that is available, to be making such statements, makes me feel the shorts will finally be out if hair soon.
The link no longer exists
"What I'm really disappointed in, however, is the share price. I had hoped for and expected a nice pump. Please get on with it as some of us want to short at higher prices. "
What I'm really disappointed in, however, Hugo, is the shorts inability to LOWER the share price so I can buy more shares at these bargain basement prices. Where's this SA article you've been gloating about?
Hugo, can you release the SA article please, I need to buy more shares in this non existent fraud of a company
I have 10000 waiting at $4.00, never wanted a stock to drop before!
Has anyone seen the SA piece yet?? I thought I'd never say this but I hope it comes out soon so I can pick up more ANY cheap stocks! Where are the shorts when you really need them?
Even Isreali cows see the importance of Microsoft's Cloud! lol
Software company Akol runs a database that monitors the output, health, genetics and fertility of every cow in Israel. The database helped lift productivity to a world record of 12,083 kg per cow in 2014. By comparison, in the United States the average was 10,097 kg.
Akol has partnered with Microsoft in a joint venture to bring the technology to the developing world.
"We understood that to reach the world we need a strong cloud computing system that analyses every component of the quality of the milk. Microsoft saw this could be a breakthrough," said Akol Chief Executive Ron Shani.
Not being a techie I wasn't sure if this is possible with Sphere's technology but this partnership with Microsoft will open up many avenues of revenue that we can't even imagine
The blurred out word is Engadget, the website that the article is on, has nothing to do with the technology
Does anyone here think Sphere 3D is involved with this with Microsoft as well?

I wonder if "The Professor" will be authoring the next SA piece? Wouldn't that be entertaining!
Although that is a possibility, I just found the timing of Hugo announcing the comments from "the Prof" on Twitter with the Prof's posting here more than just coincidental.
We all know what Sphere can do, after Wed's announcement with MSFT all these discussions will shift from what Sphere can do to how big and revolutionary will Sphere become, iMO
MSFT pumping Azure big time! I can't watch a show without seeing a commercial for their cloud products . MSFT realizes their future is with Azure and with Sphere 3D. NICE!
I think Pepsi owes some of the longs an apology here, not for his opinion on the matter, he's entitled to respond as he likes, but for the language he used in referring to some of the longs on this board. There is no need for name calling.
Thx Cabel. I normally refrain from getting involved in these types of arguments but when I'm called a "weirdo" and a "heathen", I can't let that slide.
"You frekin weirdo's go bat chit crazy", really Pepsiman?
That's your take on our response to the "Professor" coming on this board to comment about something he obviously knows nothing about. Just because he's a "Professor" doesn't validate any of his comments that lack substance and proof. I have both an MD and a PhD and I would never make such comments as he did on a forum that knows much more about this topic than he ever will.
We're all fed up with the shorts manipulating the facts and spreading false info about Sphere 3D and their latest attempt to drag the " Professor" into all of this to validate their position is pathetic. So I would recommend that you focus your comments somewhere other than with the other longs on this board who work hard and spend much of their free time to bring the truth to the forefront.
For someone claiming to "have no interest" in ANY you seem to have spent a lot of your time responding to what has been said on this board. Maybe you should spend more time researching exactly what Glassware is all about before you provide a "non-biased" opinion.
