Can anyone recall during the Songbird deal from Sept 1 to Oct 30, was the plane tested in the air?
We dont know that for sure Rob. Could be or maybe not.
Mitt is most likely looking at it too :)
Todays sellers could be tomorrows buyers lets see if we gap up .0030 momentum shifted :)
Probably Cert :)
Just my opinion I think something is going on. Too quiet too many variables.
Cert, from your desk........What are your thoughts on this Songbird plane showing up for a 13 min run point A to point A?
The plane that I asked about here a few weeks or so ago has finally showed up on Flightaware today thanks to a poster on the other board. The plane was listed in the posted for sale planes in November then removed in mid March on the company website. Other details emerged that I was not aware of and kinda get me excited. Also, how can this plane fly when the Songbird certificate was dead as many here posted? Interesting.......most likely this plane is part of a deal imo, could be a Songbird revised deal to BLTA, or part of the Xtra deal? In any event, an interesting development to say the least when it was listed as in storage and someone here said it was sold.
Look at the expire and the last action date and the Jan 9, 2015 owner posted date and no other change in ownership, may still be on Songbird banner.

What I have said and am hoping for is an executed plan. A past tense report. Silence 4.5 months hoping something is going on...
He does care imo, I do admire his determination, too bad for him and us he has alot to deal with because of the old baggage, a mountain yes, but people do climb mountains and get to the top. Lets see what happens...
There is only one way to eliminate the negative speculation. Easy....the company has to release an update, until then its anyones guess. I hope we win but lets see what happens....
Walt Disney was rejected by 302 banks before he got a "YES" for funding of Disney Land.
Determination is key we can honestly say BLTA has that! Whether or not they succeed we shall see...
Guys who gives a crap about who they are! Mothers, fathers,
whales, 18yr olds, 80 yr olds, a seller in Europe who is a shepherd, who cares! The company needs to update us to hit the uncertainty, period! After that, everything will take care of itself.
Relax Mitt most likely day trading on no news. Also could be technical as 3 day trend was broken out of the gate at 9:30am. Who knows the guys selling could also be buying....
Just an observation, this is the 3rd day in a row where we have seen .0020 to .0021 trading and 4 million in 3 days. Right now, I am guessing many are on the sidelines from buying as uncertainty is holding them back but on the other side there are no sellers bringing it lower as many hoped with no news since December. We can speculate that in front of BLTA there have been a few options that have come to our attention whether or not they capitalize remains to be seen. In the coming days, lets see if this 3 day trend holds, if so, it would speak to a baseline here at .0020.
GLTA
I just checked with another shareholder and he said it was on the list for sale from November to mid March, around the same time Xtra made the Swift announcement. He thinks the timing was odd to remove it from the list but not sold to Swift. If indeed it was sold would it not show up on record as sold to another carrier and in their storage or flying? Any tracking method out there MM?
Stored? For what? That doesn't make sense to me. Why not sell it to Swift if nothing is wrong with it or list it for sale if Songbird no longer exists? I recall reading somewhere Blta had to perform a C check in October but thxs to MM I think he pointed out if something was wrong with the plane Blta should have 8ked it. This makes no sense on the surface. Why store the plane if you are selling off your fleet and only holding one plane with manpower to run that plane along with the cert that is not the plane in storage?
Does anyone know if this plane is still for sale and if sold who bought it? Its the plane included in the Songbird deal with Blta N417XA
Thanks to you and Anvil, interesting discussion this morning, a learning for me and some here for sure.
Thanks, when does their certificate expire?
Cert from where you sit, whats the price on Great Lakes compared to Xtra?
I read somewhere MM I think last summer that they were in negotiations on that $9 mill lien. Nothing since but for sure holding it back, lets see if they can overcome this huge obstacle.
I like Xtra better see more of a fit for BLTA, but lets just get flying!
What is the status of their certificate Cert?
Thanks Anvil. Question: Do you think this news will put Xtra " down on its knees " to speed up the negotiation process with the party they are in talks with and potentially accepting a lower than market value offer?
Cert......new news on Xtra, I have my own thoughts on this but would like to hear yours please and how, if at all, it affects BLTA if you are right in guessing BLTA maybe in here to purchase Xtra's one plane and cert, much appreciated.

What we do know and a few questions:
1. John and Micheal are still with the company, I recd emails from both.
2. No other board resignations or changes in mgmt since Feb, this is not a sign of a dying company.
3. No news nothing being said, is nothing going on or something is, time will tell.
4. Xtra will make an announcement by the end of April.
5. Is BLTA the one in negotiations or are they on standby only to get in after May 1 if no deal is made?
6. No financials, why the hold up?
7. Does Frank have a sold conditional deal and waving it around or in talks which maybe not the best and if no other player gets in the first party may walk only to bid again at a lower price in May?
Getting interesting.......
You are obviously putting yourself in the other person's shoes. I do the same and try and be one step ahead of any potential outcome. I actually did a pros and cons flip chart ( being old school ), analysis when the pr hit on Xtra, same with potential of World being a player, same with Songbird before and after Nov 1, same with the pr by Tony end of November what was said etc.
I also think that if your right, financing would be included in the held up financials. Here is what I think may happen and a few points of view if Xtra and BLTA are indeed trying to make it happen and are on the same course.
1. Frank may take a seat on the BLTA board - remembering Kat and the board assignment to Connie.
2. Financing - everyone knows that once the news hits the stock will surge, it did to 1 cent on nothing before a shareholders meeting so who knows how high it will go. That will be a great time for Tony to do another issue to the finance group if possible or payout from the proceeds, I really dont know if that is possible but thats what I would do if I could. I know its dilution but for purpose.
3. Frank may get shares from BLTA and thats ok to me
4. The finance group imo makes an easier decision with Xtra than ever before with the above point #2 in mind.
5. Is there such thing as a vendor take back mortgage in the airline industry when in this situation?
6. Can BLTA tap into Franks connections re financing?
Those are a few examples off the top of my head, lets see what happens...
Can anyone tell us where is this 747?
The slow death of the jumbo jet – where are they all now?
Telegraph.co.uk-Jan. 5, 2018
Delta, the world's second largest airline, sent its final 747 to an Arizona “boneyard” this week, marking another chapter in the slow death of the jumbo jet. .... Baltia, dubbed the world's worst airline because it was founded 28 years ago but has never flown a paying passenger, has one (in storage).
Cert.... another thought.... the waving it around til the end of April may work against Xtra. Why, because what if there are no other bidders? If Frank is in talks but has not signed a conditional deal already pending the only condition is to see if he gets another offer, then imo the first party make walk in hopes of getting Xtra cheaper if in fact there was no probability of paying top dollar in risk of another party giving a better offer. No where in the news does it say conditional offer on the table it says in talks or in negotiations. Look what happened to Songbird. Both sides agreed to $6.5 mill, Blta dropped, I wonder what Frank's price would have been for Songbird Nov 1? So many variables makes for a good constructive discussion. Lets see what happens...
Cert.... I had a thought just now while having a coffee and need your opinion please.
What if..... Xtra and the other party in talks cant make a deal? We know Frank seems to be throwing it out there til the end of April for another party to take part and probably get the first party to anti up, but lets say for a minute discuss all options, one being that the first party pulls out? We have not talked about this possibility. What are your thoughts and probability in your opinion this may happen?
In talks article here...

Thats not my style Rolph. Lets see what happens in the end. One side will win.
Rab. For the first time I too received a reply from Micheal Jordon tonight. It was different from your posted email but this I can say....Elvis has not left the building!
Also on that point to curb speculation I look at the 8ks in Feb. Salary increase and no other board or executive mgmt member resigning to date! Not a sign of a dying company as some speculated.
It was good to hear from Micheal I wish the team and all shareholders success.
Lets see what happens...
From the wording Michael used it seems he is an astute businessman. He ackn the truth many mistakes in the past no pump there. No sugar coating. It was a good email seems genuine to me not a pump fest at all like in the past.
Indeed Rolph provides us with the summary of past events and displays his analytical skills. Now if Blta can just execute then my hope is he uses that same skill set on a positive note. Lets see what happens...
BB now owns over 1% of Blta based on the 9.5 billion outstanding float :) I hope so Rab if not my Kleenix box is close by lol.
Thxs for sharing Rab, thats all I needed to hear!
Seems like a fit to me, up to Blta mgmt if they see a fit maybe or maybe not.
