rainman, CANDAX CAX really taking off since my post yesterday...
Bobwins, please see the Dejour booth if you have a chance! Thanks fo your input! Good luck
Candax Energy looking very strong today!
This oil co. looks strong!!!, CANDAX Energy CAX This from another board
As for buying CEK or CAX, I prefer CAX (better near term appreciation potential with near term drilling) as I am fairly confident they are going to have good success on their drilling. The redrill of El Bibane is as close to a slam dunk as it gets in the oil biz. And twinning the existing Chaal well from the '60s is low risk and very high reward.
I did some calcs on CAX. I see, with 4000 bpd (after successful El Bibane redrills), they have CF around $0.60/sh annualized. With current price of $0.89, CAX is a steal imo. However, if those 40MM warrants get exercised by April 15 (a long shot imo), it still means the shares will appreciate nearly 30% in the next few months.
But my $0.60 in CF doesn't include any production from Chaal, which could be as significant (if not more, depending on results) than their increased oil production from El Bibane.
I really like Candax's near term prospects.
List of fresh money buys...tgb, bsko, uvih, bgh.v, elr, eastern platinum
Big question?? I have some fresh money to invest, but there are way too many good stocks to invest in!!!! any suggestions? Thanks.
ASPN News.. commences gas sales from its seventh new well drilled in 2005.
1 bagger I got only 500 at 1.69 this am....
Kipp, thanks great useful site!
Found it, Elixir also traded on Australian as EXR and also in UK
Rainman I see Elixir as ELXPF, Is there another doemstic trading symbol for them? Thanks.
DNO:Rainman..DNO down (as well as other oils on the Oslo) because I think of this news this AM...
Italian oil major ENI SpA <ENI.MI> has told the
DagensNaeringsliv newspaper it may stop investing in the Goliat
exploration block in the Artic Circle if the Norwegian
government does not make clear its policy for oil and gas
exploration in the Barents Sea.
Sverre Bore, head of ENI's Norwegian subsidiary, said the
government has to stop sowing doubt in investors' minds.
Norway's Statoil <STL.OL> owns 20 percent of the licence and
DNO <DNO.OL> 15 percent.
Bobwins and all HUGE volume on CZE Choice Resources, anybody know about impending news???
RIVAL ENERGY RGY up .24 right now...

"I do not come to this message board much so I just saw your message to Todd. I am President of TriPower. We had reasons to get our ownership under 10% that had nothing to do with Aspen. We sold 196,300 shares to make this happen and sold most of it in the runnup to high 6's in Nov/Dec. We are long term holders or until we see prices much higher than $10.00. Bob Cohan does a very good job and Aspen's next two quarterly reports should be phenomenal."
Re; IRADESSO Report. bobwins..I went to their web site and requested it,, I will pass it along when I get it....
TABLE POUNDER!!! BOBWINS, Rival RGY up $.24!!! Just liek you said a while back RGY is way undervalued as compated to its southern counterpart ASPN, I very much agreene at that time and RGY is starting to get noticed. Thanks BBOWINS,, this was alos your next table pounder!!!! All the best in this holiday season and a blessed new year!!!!
RIVAL Energy on a tear up $.18
Bobwins, seriously consider Buffalo Oil BFO.V or BUFBUF American trading symbol...
from Crossy on SiliconInvestor..Now BFO.V has current intrinsic value of around C$3.00 for their current production base (1100bopd) but that doesn't include any upside from drilling. They guided to exit FY2006 around 1600boepd.. Northern Securities has a research note on the company also..
ASPN starting a climb up .42....this will rip in Jan. 2006
bobwins, Choice Resources at 52 week hi of 1.16 Last sale!!!!
ASPN NEWS!!! Hits 8th gas well this year....
Anybody get a chance to read HIGH NOON FOR NATURAL GAS
From the Publisher
Blackouts, rising gas prices, changes to the Clean Air Act, proposals to open wilderness to gas drilling and increasing dependence on natural gas for electricity generation. What do all these things have in common, and why should we care?
In this timely expose, author Julian Darley takes a hard-hitting look at natural gas as an energy source that rapidly went from nuisance to crutch. Darley outlines the implications of our increased dependence on natural gas and why it has the potential to cause serious environmental, political, and economic consequences. High Noon For Natural Gas is a critical analysis of government policy on energy, as well as a meticulously researched warning about our next potentially catastrophic energy crisis.
About the Author
Julian Darley is a British environmental researcher who writes about nonmarket and non-technology based responses to global environmental degradation. He runs an internet broadcasting station and lives in Vancouver.
Funny and interesting how my nat gas stocks are taking a dive, what was there a huge nat gas discovery in the past two weeks that I haven't heard about yet? LOL
Very IMPORTANT ?? for the Board...I'm thoroughly confused about the oil and gas markets right now. Yes we have currently entered the shoulder season, yes REFCO liquidated large position in commodities markets and other firms, hedge funds probably followed the crowds, also mutual funds sold a lot of commodites to lock in 3rd Quarter profits. Are these all of the reasons for oils decline, have we reached the bottom and where do us board memebers see oil at the end of the year. Some say we are heading towrds $50, where Matt Simmons says we have a lot higher to go...Please shed some light on this? Thanks!
Bobwins, I thought Choice was your favorite nat gas stock at the moment?
CZE...I wouldn't be suprised if CZE releases news after market today or Monday during the day
Come on now Choice CZE, spill the beans, it isn't fair to tell only a couple of your buddies now is it?????
Come on now Choice CZE, spill the beans, it isn't fair to tell only a couple of your buddies now is it?????
Choice Resources CZE 52 WK high at 1.04.....something must have leaked this can't be good old spec.....who has been at tht well???
No doubt PAR.OL and DNO.OL are long term keepers......hopefully I can add NEC.OL on to that list...
Great Post Bobwins, BRAVO!!!!!
Bobwins, CZE Choice hits $1.00, we shall see where this takes us next week!!
Bobwins from trade activity and volume, I am speculating that some sort of news leaked out on CZE... I am not saying that the activity is pure speculatuion but given also the fact that we are on 2 straight down days and CZE has shown strength in volume and price....we shall see, getting anxious on Pincher,,,good luck
