Are you kidding me? We have been thru one of the worst downturns in mining. Metal prices depressed gold included. Mines closed. No investment in mining whatsoever since 2012.
But ... the tide is turning. That's why I think NBRI has good chances in getting back on its feet this year. And start mining those humongous nuggets at Ruby. And the rich gold and platinum streaks of the Fraser River. And the gold from their placer properties at Monte Cristo. And to jv the Mt. Washington which is one of the few select rich gold-copper left untouched in British Columbia.
Go NBRI!
That is your opinion not the reality.
NBRI is/has always been legit. It shared the faith of the many junior miners who had been crushed by low commodity prices and no investment interest in this industry. Better times it would have done good.
Smart investors would pay your $3.2 million in no time in order to get 100 times more in gold from Ruby's golden coffers!
No scam. Mismanaged yes (by hired people that were supposed to provide specialist advice to the CEO). Failures at the mining and geology departments. From reopening to building new raises and scheduling of test mining areas and to their methods of choice when it comes to exploration. But.. lots of gold is in there, lessons were learned the hard way and no future mistakes should be made. Get funds or a JV; hire new competent people; and Ruby would open its golden coffers.
Indeed. There is gold only 60 feet away from NBRI's underground mining works. See news releases.
There is a mountain of gold in other parts of the numerous underground channels intercepted at Ruby indeed.
Happy Easter! Golden eggs? Financing news is what I am waiting for. And some nuggets.
Looking forward to Ruby reopening this spring!
That explains nothing. NBRI thought that they would pick the lowest hanging fruit and went for the old mining area which is not readily accessible so they weren't able to find much. Plus it is in the report that not much is left in some of those parts of the mine so they needed a thorough analysis of the mine and channels to see if it is worth the effort and money before going there. But what brought this company down were the failed raises which were going up to intercept some good gold. And btw there is some gold only 60 ft away and it is also worth a shot.
You like it or not this company did good solid work but spent their money in reopening and refurbishing which took too long and cost too much money and by some failed raises (miner's fault) and plans (I assume geo's fault).
Looking forward to Ruby reopening this spring!
It is a professional report and it would be used by miners and geologists to understand the Ruby and other tertiary channels. It would be used in mining the Ruby's golden nuggets.
Better ask for an invite to the reopening ceremony.
The report is extremely valuable! It will go into the state's archives for sure. Written by a pro. Says where gold was found and indicate where more gold could be found. Pros know that and know how to identify new economic accumulations of gold by spending a minimum amount of money. Looking forward to this company raising funds and restarting mining.
The source is a 100% accurate technical report that describes the Ruby gold mine. I trust it!
We will get there rare! I mean to the nuggets. Will send you a postcard with the headings cutting thru pebbles and nuggets. All of the same size :) I plan to visit the mine once it reopens.
So what? You cannot mine anything with 100k! LOL. Of course that you need a few millions and a good plan which exists btw. It will lead NBRI directly to possible huge economic gold accumulations. And what is a few millions? The price of a flat or small house in a big city. C'mon we could still be rolling man! Financing is what NBRI needs because the gold is patiently waiting in the ground. It will be mined by modern means.
To all NBRI Bulgarian 'fans' Happy New Year!
LMAO! Go ahead.
Signs are that next year mining could rebound. NBRI could benefit from that. It needs funds to reopen the renowned Ruby gold mine. If you want to invest some let me know.
The New Year could bring the rebirth of the company. If only the mining industry gets out of this bear market then capital would become available for reopening the Ruby gold mine and the interest in some other mineral properties would be renewed so NBRI would be able to sell them. Fingers crossed everybody.
NBRI sold them part of the project: Ximen has completed the $1,000,000 cash payment for the Brett Gold Project Vernon BC Canada

We're gettin' there! Money is a problem NOT the gold in the ground. Getting funds was nearly impossible in this bear market. I see the light! $$$$$ should be rollin' in NBRI's treasury once the gold price gets to $1,200 and people see how undervalued the whole sector is.
Gold in the Ruby!
The valuable Ruby mine is on care and maintenance. It will reopen when funds become available. The last few years were a nuclear winter for the mining industry. There are signs of commodities revival and increased investor interest in this industry again. By next spring NBRI would most likely have the money to reopen and engage in meaningful exploration and mining of the Ruby gold treasure. I can wait.
Ruby gold mine rules! We're getting closer to a bottom. Gold should go up. Investors are piling back in mining. Next spring the mine could reopen.
Lack of funding. Any other question?
Nonsense. Not all NI 43-101 reports disclose reserves or resources. This one is good and solid as 24k gold in the bank!
Ruby has a valid NI 43-101 report. Period.
Contesting that is BS.
You got that wrong! They did everything right by reopening miles of tunnels. Clearing blockages, rock falls, bringing water and air deep in the underground. Worked safe miles down in the belly of the mountain. Built raises. ALL THIS IS CALLED MINING senor es1!
Then they mined some. Test mining. but did some cherry picking as well i.e. finding nuggets in the walls, stopes, pillars.
Next time that they would reopen (i.e. next spring in 2016) they would change the plan. The geological and mining plans would be different. Effective and would cost less.
Go get 'em nuggets NBRI!
BS! The NI 43-101 is reality. Fact. 100% accurate description.
Not yet but we would be. I meant WE the SHAREHOLDERS :)
Hello! It's called mining NOT berry picking. Hello! More difficult.
Hogwash! Gold has been mined from the Ruby for over 100 years.
Yeah really! What makes you feel that there is none? Link?
There is lots of gold buried under that hill at Ruby!
You're right Sarshee. Hopefully the company would get an investor (difficult right now but possible in the near future as the price of gold would go up again)and would be able to reopen the mine under a new management and by using different mining and geological methods that would help them reach the gold in a fast and efficient manner.
There is lots of gold buried under that hill at Ruby!
Gold up today! A lot.
NBRI is surviving the junior miners and commodities nuclear winter. It will emerge weakened but still holding onto their most valuable assets. From there on it is about financing which would be easier to get once the up cycle starts again. Soon.
Let's get some gold from Ruby and the Fraser River folks!
NBRI dormant but sitting on a trove of gold. Awakening of a miner. Expect that any moment that the market starts appreciating miners.
A few months yeah. Didn't say that it would necessary reopen this fall. But ya know winter might not be that harsh so they could work year round. Bring the investors cause miners and drillers to be willing to work at Ruby over the winter can be found in no time. Let's get some nuggets boys!
Gold getting higher. People realize that it is the only store of value.
NBRI. 60 feet to gold people! Drilled. Demonstrated. Not cheap talk. Not BS.
I can wait for Ruby to reopen. It will. Gold has been in the ground at Ruby for millions of years. It can stay there a few more months before NBRI gets to harvest it.
Gold people!
60 feet to gold people! Drilled. Demonstrated. Not cheap talk. Not BS.
I disagree. NBRI would produce at profit. Gold I mean. Dollars in the bank I mean. The rest is BULLSHIT!
It will be mining at profit. Well I can wait.
I'll name one. If Ruby starts producing gold naysayers would disappear.
Hogwash! There is lots of gold in Ruby that can be easily recovered.
