The five month EPA approval period ends in about less than a week. Hopefully it will happen soon... AS can prevent illness and save lives. GLTA!
I would think other entities have already approached Medizone about doing business in various countries. Interest should only get stronger given Saudi Arabia and South American deals. If they get EPA aproval, it should really get the ball rolling.
I asked about this last week. It began June 24th.
About 9 days left...
Of all the things I'd like to see, some good press is one of them. Dr. Shannon looks great on camera. He's a fantastic AS salesman.
Nothing is real with Coates until it's real. Let GC prove it.
You can try to piece things together or talk to a friend of a friend who knows someone in Wall, NJ. But that should not be a reason for anyone--reading that type of fodder on a message board--to buy stock.
Hopefully what comes out of China will be something that finally will connect with penny investors. But I'm guessing it will be more of the same. I'm hoping to be proven wrong.
If anyone has plans on buying COTE, don't buy it on the way down! Wait till there are checks in the bank and/or gen sets/engines going out the door.
About 10 days left to EPA...
From 10-q:
On July 18, 2015, we received notification from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) regarding “Report of Analysis for Compliance with PR Notice 11-03” acknowledging that our submission of June 24, 2015 was found to be in full compliance with the standards of submission of data contained in the referenced PR Notice 11-03. The EPA has up to five months to complete its review of our application to register our AsepticSure® Oxidative Catalyst for use with our disinfection system in hospitals, clinics, the food industry, recreation/exercise/sporting facilities venues, and hotels. There is no assurance that our application will be accepted or that additional changes or modifications will not be required in order to obtain registration. However, we view this development to be significant and will continue to work with the EPA and our professional advisors to obtain the requested registration.
That's the China Production Facility - Xianning City, Hubei Province.

Would be nice to see it filled with gen sets, engines, and workers loading them onto trucks for delivery!
Like any product, the AS machine will go through redesigns as time passes. But I wouldn't be surprised to hear that the machines on hand today, will be used in hospitals, etc., for years to come.
GLTA!
There was a second visit to SA. Looks very promising...
"...During the quarter ended September 30, 2015, we sold two AsepticSure systems to a purchaser in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The purchaser, Al-Hidaya International Medical Services Company (Al-Hidaya), has also signed a non-binding letter of intent to become the Company’s exclusive distributor of the system in the Kingdom ofbia, subject to the completion and execution of a binding distribution agreement. Pursuant to the letter of intent, Al-Hidaya sponsored the travel of a Medizone team to Saudi Arabia led by Dr. Michael E. Shannon, our President and Director of Medical Affairs, to introduce the system to interested medical and government representatives in Saudi Arabia and to provide initial training to Al-Hidaya personnel. Once an agreement has been executed, we expect Al-Hidaya to introduce a service model to the medical community throughout Saudi Arabia. In addition, the distribution agreement will provide that if Al-Hidaya is successful in establishing sales of the system and related services in Saudi Arabia, we will consider granting future distribution rights to Al-Hidaya for other countries in the Middle East on a country-by-country basis. A subsequent Al-Hidaya-sponsored trip by a senior Medizone technician to continue the training of Al-Hidaya technicians took place in October 2015. Al-Hidaya worked with Saudi regulatory authorities through system demonstrations both in-hospital and in Al-Hidaya offices in these two training sessions. Al-Hidaya has represented that it is in regular and frequent contact with the Saudi regulatory authorities and that it believes it will soon obtain full regulatory approval to import additional AsepticSure systems and operate them providing disinfection services. Following Saudi regulatory approval, it is anticipated the formal contract for future distribution and service rights will be finalized and executed. The distribution agreement will include additional system orders for production. Al-Hidaya has established office, supply and training space to support AsepticSure activities and has hired service technicians in preparation for a broader launch following receipt of regulatory approval. As of the date of this report, final Saudi regulatory approval is pending and the final distribution agreement with the proposed distributor had not been signed...."
I would assume that the various problems have not been solved until someone is buying the product, or even possibly, if a news outlet is doing a "breaking" story.
This is revolutionary stuff here. If it works, it's big news. If not, it's just a sub-penny mess.

What is the point of all these pr's???? They are clearly not connecting with new buyers. Even the cronies have to force enthusiasm.
Make a CONCRETE deal. Then let us know. (As I've said, in the meantime, I want to see video!) Otherwise, these pr's are basically the stuff you should post on Facebook.
I hate always being critical. I really do. I bought some stock on the chance GC is more than just the Wizard of OZ. We'll see.
GLTA.
I wonder who bought the 2,102 shares? It was near the close, so I guess they were desperate to buy.
Hopefully this is the calm before the storm.
I would guess we have around 15 days left in the waiting game for an EPA decision. But it could happen sooner, later, or they could have more questions.
As mentioned in the last PR on Nov 4th, I really hope they follow through and video "the whole operation" of the retrofitted generators at work.
Like I said in a previous post, it would be nice to see some "new" YouTube vids from Coates. Maybe they could film a car with a Coates' engine running the 1/4 mile at Englishtown. Or just something from the shop. Anything.
The way I see COTE: if Coates' engine works as well as GC says it does, then it will revolutionize various industries. But for now, the one glaring fact is the .005 share price. That value brings to mind the word, worthl--s.

Long for now with a few bucks I can afford to lose.

Great post. Good DD. Buyer beware of this Cummins stuff. It's been kicked around for years.
When and if Cummins speaks up, then we'll know there's a real relationship.
Only invest money here you can afford to lose. Because you probably will...
Thanks SL!!!
If would be interesting to hear what you find out.

A message to newbies. Nothing on this board or what GC says is real.
At this point, the only thing that matters is if and when Cummins or "the Chinese" have something to say.
Given the PR's from Coates and what's been reported from board members, either Cummins or "the Chinese" issue their own PR in the next few weeks, or this is a dead horse.
If Coates engine works as well George Coates says it does, then there is loads of $$$ to be made. But his own history is not on his side. Or the investors!
Otherwise, this board is toxic. From the short sellers to those with insider info. The only thing real here is the share price. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Long for now with disposable income.
Joe
NEPT PR this morning. Business better than expected and money coming in the door.
"Neptune Technologies provides a business update, stating it continues to see strength in business fundamentals (NEPT) :
•Neptune anticipates a positive net operating cash flow position for the third quarter ending November 30, 2015. The quarter-end nutraceutical cash balance is expected to be approximately $4.5 - $5.0 million, up from $3.4 million at the end of the second quarter ended August 31, 2015.
•The higher cash balance is due to the recent receipt of $1.3 million in Quebec Investment Tax Credits, along with $0.5 million in business interruption insurance recovery relating to the 2012 Sherbrooke plant incident.
•The Quebec Investment Tax Credits are for equipment purchased for manufacturing and processing at the Corporation's Sherbrooke plant in 2014. An additional $1.0 million investment tax credit is expected to be received in 2016.
•For the six-month period ending February 29, 2016 the Corporation anticipates to be in no less than a neutral cash flow position. This compares to a cash burn of $5.8 million for the six-month period ending August 31, 2015.
•Neptune's Sherbrooke plant has proven it can outperform the Corporation's internal target of 150 metric tons annually. For the months of September and October, the plant's output was equivalent to an annualized rate of 160 metric tons."
Months ago when this new EPA process started, I called and they were cautiously optimistic. Yesterday was more of the same. So I do think things are moving forward, but can't say with 100% certainty. You can call and form your own opinion.
Though I do kinda think the lawfirm staffed with former EPA workers, that they've hired to handle things, will be the difference.
AsepticSure machine comes in below the new lower acceptable level set by EPA. Plus other techs use ozone...
I called the company yesterday. So far the EPA has no further questions.
I don't agree, though more importantly, only invest in Cote what you can afford to lose.
Given the source, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe even Stay Long has his doubts in the validity of the info.
In any event, this is an anonymous public forum, nothing is real here until it is real.
When there are CONCRETE sales or when Cummins issues a PR, that will speak volumes.
Hopefully the info is correct, though very few believe your source even when he writes it in a real PR.
Stay Long, you own enough shares for it to be considered PR, IMO.
They might all be factual, so is the .0056 share price.
But we want news of products shipped or a check deposited.
In the meantime, it would be nice to see some "new" YouTube vids from Coates. Maybe they could film a car with a Coates' engine running the 1/4 mile at Englishtown. Or just something from the shop. Anything.
Like some of you, I "clicked ignore" on the short sellers. But that doesn't mean I'm here to be a cheerleader. None of us should be. It's a sub-penny stock. Nothing is real here, until it's real.
And if you're not from "the show me state," you should move there.
Staying long for now,
Joe in NYC
Coates is basically trying to redesign the wheel. Sounds great. I just want to see and hear people other than GC hype the Coates engine.
If i missed something, especially if it's current, please share it. GLTA.
Seems a good thing there were no pr releases this week. They do nothing for share price of late. The next one hopefully will excite buyers, but it has to be solid news.
It's just so people would know what you're post was about.
For the record, and as a heads-up, this is an article about the lawsuit against Coates from 1994, which has since been deemed erroneous.
From the lawyers: "If there are any references to this erroneous suit, Mr. Coates plans legal action."
http://www.nytimes.com/1994/07/23/business/engine-inventor-accused-of-fraud.html
We have no idea about Canadian demos or anything else because our investor relations forum members have stopped posting.
Thanks Stay Long. I appreciate the response. It addressed some of my questions, but I'm still left looking to hear a professional opinion about Coates engine from a person outside the company, who has been there for tests.
It would be nice if Coates answered questions. While 3rd party testing or a Coates engine at a Cummins factory will stir real interest. Because who in there right mind would place a big order with nothing to go on other than the inventor's word.
But what company would buy many engines that they haven't tested, or that hasn't gone through a rigorous 3rd party test. Because Coates says it works means little... There should be articles about Coates in many different auto and tech mags. The one I found below doesn't sound too promising.
"...Another area that has been attempted to be improved upon with little success is the poppet valves on a conventional engine. The problem with poppet valves is that the incoming air does not have a direct line of sight into the cylinder; and once that air has reached the cylinder, it still has to make it around the big end of the valve. Other issues with poppet valves are they are difficult to actuate at high rpm’s, and the exhaust valve causes a hot spot in the combustion chamber. But the beauty of the poppet valve is that combustion pressure helps to seal the valve against its seat, and because they are round, they heat and expand evenly. They also don’t need any lubrication where the valve meets its seat since they are not sliding.
Many alternatives that have been proposed use some type of rotary valve that open and close ports as they spin. One company proposed a promising design was Coates. Their design uses a play off a ball valve that replaces all traditional valve hardware. The system seems very ingenious until you start to think about the forces it has to deal with. Unlike a poppet valve which seals tighter under pressure, the opposite is true for the Coates valve since it’s on top of the cylinder outside the combustion chamber. This means that all of the force from combustion is trying to blow the valve off the top of engine, not push it against a seal like the poppet valve. Coates also claims that their ceramic seal doesn’t require lubrication; since this valve has never been released to the public for 3rd party evaluation, I have my doubts on this. But I’m sure like many other attempted solutions, their design does work – at least for a little while.
So for the most part, it seems like the major problem with alternate engines (and valve) designs is that they are difficult to seal. Many people think that it’s only a matter of time before technology is good enough to figure out these problems, but I’m not so sure. I think in a lot of these cases, physics will have to be defied."

Old articles about Coates' design. Have they answered the questions???
Why alternative engine designs have never met much success.(article from 2011)

Do Rotating Spherical Valves Have A Future In Motorcycling?
http://www.cycleworld.com/2014/01/17/ask-kevin-do-rotating-spherical-valves-have-a-future-in-motorcycling/
After reading these articles, my biggest question is: are there any 3rd party evaluations of the Coates engine?
Will the snoozefest continue this week... Maybe we'll get something on the Canadian demos. The SA excitement bubble has burst. Maybe they can resolve that with the SA FDA. While the EPA decision here looms...
What will this week be like???
If they throw us a bone, I hope it has some meat on it.
It has been said that they are demoing AS at a Canadian hospital tomorrow. There are supposed to be two or more of these demos at hospitals in the same province. Hopefully we can get news soon after they are finished.
BUT, we've reached the point where anything short of sales or EPA approval will raise interest.
Its one thing for Coates to retro fit two Cummins generators with the CSRV System and test it. But won't Cummins have to do their testing, which could take ____ before they place a FIRM order.
I'm new here--was the system tested before at a Cummins plant?
What is the status of Coates patents/intellectual property? Clock looks like it is running out on some...
http://www.coatesengine.com/patents.html
Wow, the earnings look good. Plus a lot of progress on all fronts. This was a long time coming. I'm a little surprised the share price didn't move. The "new" CEO seems really on top of things. Good things are to come IMO.
Gelati posted here that they would happen Oct 26th.
