Wheeler wasn’t fired. He walked.
Lol. It’s big volume alright. New 52 week lows.
I would think he has to give an update. He seems to tweet to dispel rumors on occasion.
What’s funny is that when he does that, it’s always a rumor that I had never even heard before. Lol
So who knows where he gets his info from.
My guess is he will try to spin the BLF thing as something positive.
What I hope is that maybe Wheeler was running the website and just shut that shit down. That’s complete speculation on my part. But I think highly of Jim and would cheer him on for doing that after getting screwed over.
I asked Mark about the BLF website and he said he is waiting on an explanation from Chris and Anshu.
Very rare that Mark seems in the dark on something this important.
My guess is that the IR Firm will be the next to walk.
How do you figure? Chart I’m looking at shows waaaay more dumping into the bid at .0005 then people slapping the ask at .0006.
You are seriously bi polar.
Are you confusing me with Truth Fairy.
Because I know Truth Fairy and Coach rhyme.
Good luck. I’m sure they covered their tracks. I just want to converse with one of the former higher ups and get a feel for their side of this narrative.
Correct. This will get diluted hard after RS to pay off debt and finance more fake deals.
So shares held through the split will go below .0001. Literally
Crazy that BLF website is gone. I suspect the note holder is taking over and will rename BLF to reflect other sports licenses.
But make no mistake... it cannot be funded without more toxic debt. That’s what the RS is for.
I’m pretty sure I made it clear I sold out Friday after BLF called me.
First shares I sold in 18 months.
Took a 90% loss.
Rolled what was left into Apple today. Lol.
That’s what they al said this weekend. Now what?
I really didn’t do anything. They called me. Lol.
I’m eager to see how he spins it. After extensive talks with Ian Ron and now getting to chat with BLF...
I’m convinced more than ever that Anshu lied about many things and really screwed over a lot of people.
Too many good people walked away from Anshu and I’m certain they have a different story to tell.
I will seek it out for myself.
I am eager to see how Anshu spins this with BLF. Maybe he made a deal with the lender that took over the inventory.
That would make logical sense if my instincts are correct.
So possibly this will be a win / win for Anshu and the lender. Not sure how it will impact Verus and shareholders. Depends how a deal is structured I guess.
But I can assure you, if the lender is who I think it to be... the terms will favor the lender heavily. That’s a fact.
Gonna be a lot of fine print to read.
BLF website is gone...
Poof.
#GameOn
Are they pulling in “millions”?
Then why can’t Anshu pay storage fees for his inventory?
Great product.
Turd management
Covid had less to do with them getting into stores than what Anshu ever claimed. The stores wanted the products. Anshu didn’t have access to the candy because he couldn’t pay the storage fee. So the candy was held as collateral.
Remember all the bitching I did about the candy never showing up at TJ Maxx, Topicz, Weiss markets etc?
Now it all makes sense.
Somebody got some ‘splainin’ to do.
This thing is dead.
That’s a great theory.
I see zero potential for current shareholders. Only way to make money here is to buy in after the dilution post split and HOPE they have a plan (or at least a pump) from that point.
I sold out on Friday after talking to BLF rep.
Will diversify what’s left between Apple and a few others Monday morning. Might wait for another covid dip in coming weeks. We will see.
Wrong. I won’t start a rumor until I get 100% confirmation of it.
Working on that now.
It will happen soon enough.
It’s not BS. It’s true. The candy was exchanged for forgiveness of a note. You won’t believe who that note holder is that operates Game On foods.
Let’s just say this shit is about to come full circle.
It will come out. Soon enough. And the note holder would not allow BLF to make good on the playoff promotion unless they paid for it. And they don’t have the money to pay for it.
As I said last week... Verus is dead. I truly believe that.

Not at all. I’m the idiot.
Probably the only idiot that fell for the promotion.
Haha... yeah they did. Don’t forget who ran Big League Candy and yes my name and contact info was attached to the order. I also posted a screenshot of the order on twitter which showed the date.
Pretty good chance I was the only one playing the stupid game anyhow.
Nice find.
Nice find.
Correct. Somebody took the time to call me after me blasting BLF for their empty promise.
I find it strange too. However, I think BLF called because I was wearing their asses out on twitter about not following through on the promotion. I’m fast, one of their tweets said “As promised, we will be sending candy to the winners”. Lol
As promised...
Anyhow, I think they had someone call me to shut me up. The guy was super nice and felt bad about the whole ordeal.
I asked him specifically about TJ Maxx and he did say it was sent to their distribution centers. But his reason for the long delay was totally different than Anshu’s. Lol
Anshu couldn’t pay the bill at the storage facility so they locked it up and held the entire inventory as collateral. That’s when the note holder took over. He now has control of the candy. Once he sells that inventory, who knows if BLF will even exist anymore.
What’s interesting is who that note holder is. Eventually, Game On Foods will come to light. It’s an epic twist to this shit show.
Excellent. Can’t wait to hear his response.
I don’t have a link. I had never heard of it until today when BLF called me to apologize for not being able to fulfill their promotion.
Sorry to say, but it’s true.
They aren’t even controlling the candy inventory at this time. That is being done by Game On Foods.
Wait till you hear who runs that show...
And Jim Wheeler walked.
You don’t have to believe it. But the truth will come to light soon enough.
Verus is dead. I said that last week. And I stand by it today after talking to BLF.
They don’t have enough money to ship a few cases of candy to their promo winners.
But I bet Anshu is getting paid!!! Lol.
After talking to BLF today, I don’t think this is anywhere near the bottom. They literally done have enough money to fulfill the promotional candy winners.
And Jim Wheeler is gone.
Think about it... all the “good guys” bailed. Is that not a red flag?
McGowan, Ian Ron, Anders Gratte, Jim Wheeler, Andrew Garnock ( sort of ) Two Accounting Firms...
Anshu and Chris are not operating on the up and up. It’s been one lie after another with these guys.
Agreed. Anshu screwed over so many people it’s not even funny.
Do what’s best for you. I don’t like the fact that BLF was held hostage (and so were the shareholders) because Anshu couldn’t pay a storage bill. Meanwhile, look at his salary and the stock options he continues to collect.
There is a real problem with that.
All his credibility is shot.
If he won’t pay rent, then what will he pay? (Other than himself of course)
He has zero desire to work FOR shareholders.
I’m out completely. I tried to ask the guy who called some questions but he was very professional and didn’t answer much.
I asked about TJ Maxx and if that was even true.
He did say the candy was sent to TJ Maxx and Marshall’s but that the delays this summer were unfortunate and had to do with financial constraints in regards to paying the storage fees. The candy was literally being held hostage.
That’s when one of the lenders stepped in and exchanged his note for the entire candy inventory. The note holder paid the storage bill and now is handling the candy inventory. That was all documented in filings.
Now every case sold is paying down that loan.
Pretty sad stuff.
Seems Wheeler had a great idea with that MLB license and just went to the wrong guys to get his financing to make that dream come true.
I still believe deep down that Anshu originally had good intent. I think Chris is the one who sent this spiraling south. Just my gut feeling. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Anshu is as crooked as Chris.
It is what it is.
That was my plan. But it’s already a nice tax loss. So I’m out.
I asked the guy to thank Jim for his honest efforts at BLF in spite of the Verus management. And the guys said he would do that but Jim no longer works for BLF.
Pretty sad ending to this story.
Anshu has strung this thing along far enough. I suspect that Pach Labs is a figment of his imagination at this point too.
Sadly, I sold today. First shares I have sold in over 18 months.
But after the phone call with the guy from BLF and him explaining that they could not afford to ship candy to the promo winners, I could hear the defeat in his voice.
That moved me to take what I could get (which wasn’t much) at this point.
Seems that Anshu has told many half truths along the way.
You should have seen my eyes light up when I got a call from Maryland a few minutes after blasting BLF on twitter. Lol.
Honestly, it was nice of them to reach out like that. The alternative was more negative crap on twitter. They don’t deserve that if they literally don’t have the money to send candy to the promo winners.
They don’t even have control over the inventory either. Gotta keep that in mind. New company now controlling all of that.
Just received a personal phone call from Big League Foods letting me know that they will not be sending the candy to promo winners due to lack of funds.
Thought that was very nice of them to reach out to me.
I promptly put 3 million shares on the ask and got hit within 5 minutes.
Smelling like things have gone south since they turned the inventory over to the “note holder”.
