I totally agree...and their IB8 name is only suited for truck stops. At least they removed the hitchhiker from the label. I could totally see these sold at the checkout at whole foods. We should all email Russell and IB8 about this. It's probably why we heard that the last owner of IB8 didn't make it. I would also like to know if this is a true JV or if we are just selling seeds to them?
Problem is I can't find VPR group online to contact. Anyone had any luck finding contact info for VPR. If not we should all send emails to company asking for VPR groups contact info..JMO
That's the reason I'm still here. It's like buying a lotto ticket. If they do things right this could be epic. But who am I kidding. JMHO
If they bale the upper stem and leaves in with the longer stalks then how do they sort them out for processing? Anyone have any ag experience? I can see it now a bunch of people looking at the bales going O crap how are we going to sort these out. lol.
That's why I keep saying they need to focus on end products not growing the raw material. Soon enough anyone will be able to grow hemp and why would they partner with us. That's why the cbd oil is so important. An old POS I used to own is now selling canna drinks and if that POS can do it anyone can. JMHO
LOL. They better. That's the whole reason I bought into this stock. Even if last year was a failure the need to tell us and tell us how they are going to fix it. It irks me too that all the deals they make are with private companies with no publicly available information. I'm beginning to believe the worst people in the world to run a company are miners. They are so secret like they think someone's going to jump their claim if anyone finds out where it is. JMHO
That would be wonderful but I doubt we can get there without a product to sell and people to get excited about. That's what the CBD oil was supposed to be. I doubt a few bottles of flavored seeds will get us there. Maybe DSCR should make actual products instead of farming! JMHO
My hope is that they had their meeting with the PR firm as described on the PR companies website last fall and the PR firm advised them to hold on to announcing things until they are fully reporting and audited. Then the PR company would have a "legitimate" company to promote to whales. Then release a steady barrage of updates with last year info, plans for this year, etc. I can dream can't I? JMHO GLTA
DSCR. Could open "Russell's bud shop." At least we would have revenue. LOL.
Maybe if you typed him a letter with all our questions and sent it certified mail he would hand write a reply on DSCR stationary. LOL
Was anyone ever able to track down VPR Group? I didn't join this party till well after those press releases last year. Would be nice to get a comment from them.
When I see this I think we longs have taken a lot of shares off the table and it's just MMs playing around. A decent bid but it's probably some investors trying to get super cheap shares. I hope Russell and the PR firm have some sort of strategy and they are just waiting for audit to be completed. Wouldn't it be nice if they would just give us a weekly facebook update saying minor things like "still waiting for audit" just to let us know they're alive. How bout it Russell?
JMHO Long DSCR
A university report from Kentucky uses .50 to .80 per pound in their calculation of net earnings for farmers. Then if we are 50/50 with a agro out 50000 lbs would net us
.70x50000/2= a whopping 17,500. JMHO. They need to move on from seed and fibers and make CBD oil, fabrics, fuel whatever. Some kind of value added product.
Would be nice if we could do the same and build bio refineries in Canada, Africa, or other parts of the U.S. Hemp farming is OK but imagine how much money we could make if we took the raw product and actually made products people wanted to buy. It looks like we had a hard time this year selling 160 acres worth. The farmer never ends up making much money especially once hundreds of other farmers start growing.
The company needs to put out more PRs on a regular basis. They go quiet for long periods of time and that scares investors. We need to attract new investors to move the pps up and we won't do that without some exciting news followed by at least once per month PRs. JMHO
Has anyone ever seen an Interstate Bait product or are they just in Utah. I would like to see an announcement that IB8 is creating a larger size bag of flavored seeds with a family friendly label to sell in grocery and health food stores. Those little 5ounce bottles are rediculous. An acre would produce enough to fill 18000 bottles? Can you see a hunter in a sporting goods store or a trucker at a truck stop looking for hemp seed ? JMHO
I hope Russell and the Directors are networking and looking for more buyers for their product. I doubt one little boutique snack company can sell that many little glass jars of seeds. Anyways I am happy to see they are still working on it and I hope that news was just a little sample to make us happy. I doubt we'll see anything of substance till the get the audit done and if you are going through the trouble of an audit you might as well wait and include the last quarters info.
Maybe now that the stop sign is gone Pacific Equity will start sending research reports to whales by carrier pigeon.
The reason I am long on this one is that gamble that this turns out to be a real growing company with real products that eventually skyrocket this stock. If this proves to be real then you start calculating PE ratios on CBD oil and bingo! But I doubt a lone cowboy can pull it off. Here's to our gable paying off. Good luck to everyone!
I hope we get more than just the old financials. Don't forget about the other stuff like the VPR group jv for CBD oil. And the seed to sale software.
Great post Le....We need that info to get distributed beyond this board!
They certainly are in the right place at the right time. If they follow through with everything they've been talking about and pour their revenue and experience into scaling the business who knows. I plan to hold for the long term to see if they can ride the top of this wave for a while. I just hope they position themselves correctly and don't get run over by all the other start ups that will inevitably try to get into this game. JMHO. Good luck to all!
Looks like Florida is getting close to issuing 5 MMJ licenses. The application requirements look daunting though. Anyone know if the company is still pursuing MMJ in Florida?
I think all us longs are waiting for a run like that. I keep hoping the reason the company is so quiet is that they are working out partnerships and testing new things like the cbd extraction and they dont want to give info to their competition. I keep hoping this is leadin up to a point where Russell shows his cards and its a royal flush. I dont see why not especially if they scale exponentially this summer. JMHO
I hope they scale up more than that. They need to grow credibility and revenue so they are well positioned as this industry grows.
I agree. It would be nice if Russell could get last years reporting done but an audit could take a couple months. I also read that the bill to legalize hemp in south africa wont be till March...I hope Russell will hit us with all the great things he has been doing but well have to wait for stop sign to go away...Hey Russell at least throw us a small bone to keep interest in the company alive until you wow us with the rest...JMHO
alg@ is at 50cents and it looks like they are emerging in the hemp industry just like our stock...and they are only planning 1000 ac of hemp this year plus some medical mj grows...If Russell can plant more than 1000 acres why cant we have even highet higher valuation? JMO
I thought the vpr plant was for extracting cbd oil from the leaves...that is where the money is...nobody cares aboit the hemp seed oil.
It sucks having to sit here and watch the dolphins flip...maybe one day the whales will show up..Come on Russell your killin me...let the PR firm do your PRs ..you're too busy (I hope) getting more farmland and selling CBD...lets build a little momentum before the PR company mails their glowing research report (I hope)out to whales...JMO
Maybe the PR firm is waiting for the stop sign to be removed. They wouldnt look very reputable recommending a stock that is not audited and fully reporting. JMO
All it takes is news. They seem to have so many things going on that the PR firm could put out a small release of info every 2weeks for a year. Anyone talked to the PR firm lately? JMHO
Im accumulating more at these sale prices. Every million we pick up and hold is a million less for the flippers to play with. In my opinion this stock has huge potential if they do everything correctly..become current, show revenue even if it is smaller than expected, exponentially expand acreage, communicate these things widely. If they could figure out how to grow and process cheaply in Africa it might make growing it in North America uncompetative. Anyone have any experience with farming in africa? I want to believe they could hit a dollar if they did everything right.
Thanks for the reply...I am long on this one and I think this company could be a winner. Its just when the company doesnt provide complete info it leaves me to sit here and question things. The more upfront and clear they are with us the more investors will trust rather than question and the more investors we may attract...Go DSCR
If seeds are so scarce why would DSCR sell them. I understand to book revenue but wouldnt it be better to keep the seed so we have enough to plant on the thousands of new acres? Why would they sell seed now only to buy it back in a couple months to plant?? They might secure thousands of acres of land and risk not be able to buy enough seed...Any thoughts?
Maybe VPR has a license??? Is there a list of licensees on any of the Canadian Government websites?
So how is VPR supposed to be extracting the CBD on site if it is illegal
That would be awesome...Just think of the revenue if they could get 10000 acres in Canada and way more in Africa...they would have to uplist to nasdaq
Dont know the reason..but they have a history of being late and they jave been very bad with getting the word out about the company...Based on the latest PR they are going to try to be better at those in the future
I hope they get 10,000 acres in hemp next year with leases with an option to renew...Go DSCR
Its too bad they dont have a hemp growing consultant on the board...What does DSCR bring to the game...If I was a farmer why would I sign up with DSCR verses hiring my own consultant?
