Right. Another metals deal would be what produces the revenue to create a string of "in the black" quarters that will cause the issue to get some buying interest.
5000 on the bid. Over 11 million on the ask.
Please be careful with the I word. I'm not listed by the company as such. I am not privy to all the internal goings on. Sometimes during conversations with friends that are insiders I hear things that may or may not be or be intended to be public information.
Still, its just bits and pieces. Because of this,I might know a little more than the average guy on the street but I have ceased trading mhtx since this began so there is no question of unfair trades.
As far as ssc's views; they are based on available public information. He presents his ideas with conviction over and over even though big theo shot him out of the saddle a while back. Although in the grand scheme of things I doubt that his presented concerns will make a difference, his opinion is welcome.
I'm sorry if that offends you, Sparroww.
See what I mean!
Hunch, I have not confirmed that yet but am trying. I hope you are right but it would have taken some foresight and extra money as LD probably doesn't work for nothing.
I think it would be good pr to add to any update of the progress of the validation process something to the extent that design of the next gen unit is underway.
ssc, at the risk of perhaps sounding negative, I am a realist and in so, I for one, value what you bring to this forum. I found a couple of your words in this last post to be of significance. Thank you.
As a 35 year licensed commercial airplane pilot I find the 8 throttles of the B-52 to be exciting. I think the physicians at MDA should have some input as to the design of the human sized machine but not starting on it now only spells more delays when the it gets to that stage.
I don't think that the validation will find that the machine is "crap" but it is one of the first of it's kind, hence the "II".
What I mean is, it took lots of improvements to go from a Wright Bros. airplane to an F-16 fighter. Although the unit may show promise it might take some improvements to become "state of the art".
My point is, when you have been a "start up" company for over twenty years the market adopts a "ho hum" attitude toward all of your accomplishments that do not include revenue and growth.
Planning should be under way if not completed for the anticipated validation (about how we will use this to produce revenue and growth) so that when the day comes, mgmt. doesn't have to ask, "Ok, now what?"
Also, design work should have already begun on the human sized Nano MRX machine to facilitate transition into human clinical trials.
I'm not saying that institutional investors won't take positions but they'll want to see revenue potential on this side of the horizon.
There is value in the desire to be part of something big and needing to get a ticket before the train leaves the station but when cooler heads begin to evaluate and there is not a clear view of upcoming revs with growth potential, the pop could become short lived.
There has to be a way to see revenue and growth possibilities or the market won't care.
........but those wedgies on youtube have to have some entertainment value!
Yes, well six to eight times sales is tough to compute with no sales.
I was looking forward to Hunch's beach house in Cabo! But I would host!
Well, There is a lot of "imagination" involved here and certainly there are immediate hurdles to be cleared but if validation goes well at MDA and large cash rich companies catch wind of it and decide make offers for Senior Scientific, would mhtx sell it for say,$2.5B?
That's all good. The end game, however, could be a very different scenario.
Can't argue. You supported my assertion that today's bottom fisher will be long gone before $5.
Hunch, I know you are active and will actively trade this all the way up and down. As you often complain about volume, liquidity issues are your stumbling block with this strategy. I wish you luck and hope it all works out for you in a positive way!
Today's bottom fishing bidder will be out long before $5. Those, however, with a longer horizon shouldn't be concerned with fractions of a penny unless they are committing large dollar amounts.
The equipment is still on the vehicle. I'm just no longer interested in it due to it's user unfriendliness.
I put a hydrogen generator on my pick up a couple years ago. Several problems occurred. Since the hydrogen was generated from water you also put additional oxygen into the fuel. The O 2 sensors on the exhaust were telling the computerized fuel system that there was extra oxygen indicating that the fuel to air mixture was too lean so the computer richened the mixture calling for more gas thus decreasing mileage. I tried to mitigate this with an electronic device attached between the sensors and the computer that actually tried to fool the vehicle's computer by supplying false oxygen data. This worked while idling but when engine rpms were increased the data had to be dialed up manually and this just wasn't practical for driving. Also the hassle of filling the device when it got low and adding dangerous chemicals to prevent freezing became a deal breaker. Perhaps the fuel cells have some similar concerns.
11pm. What time zone are you in hunchboy?
Yes. It (MRX II) will certainly free up the other diagnostic equipment for other applications.
One cannot rule out another possibility. Since Senior Scientific is a wholly owned subsidiary of mhtx, If a large company were to offer enough money, Senior Scientific could be sold.
Sure but the price would be better after validation. It would be even better than that after FDA approval. Remember, there are a lot of outstanding shares to spread revenues over so it's going to take lots of revenue to cause a significant value increase in mhtx pps.
Once again, MHTX does not intend to manufacture and sell MRX machines. It intends to license the technology and allow the licensee to manufacture and sell the machines. Therefore the license fee is going to have to be a whopper! Royalties will also play a role in ongoing revenue.
Remember, the business plan is to license the technology and then production of the units will be up to the licensed partner. What Senior Scientific should now be concentrating on in addition to supporting the efforts of MD Anderson is the design and construction of the human sized MRX machine to be used in the clinical trials phase of developments.
I don't believe funds are the issue. I wonder if they can't trust the unit in anyone else's hands... Something else I have wondered about is fragility. Can it stand the trip bumping down the road in a truck and still be in top adjustment upon arrival? I hope that this has been considered prior to shipment.
My offer to swing by late last Friday and pick it up and drop it off in Houston was met with laughter so it's anybody's "guess"!
I thought I wrote that I was going out on a limb and guessing.
This is by no means a fact supported by anything. Its a guess, thank you.
I'm going out on a limb and guessing that Mr. Fuery had nothing to do with the Mayfield fiasco. Probably doesn't even know about it!
What I'm talking about is releasing the 8k saying the unit will be shipped on said date while it awaits delivery of a replacement part. Poor coordination! Maybe it ships by Monday!
I disagree. The initial coverage provided a boost to the share price when no other analyst would consider the task. When they raised the target it also provided a boost.
The results of the recent conference will be delayed if we are able to see them at all.
Tony Fuery is the IR PR guy.
Management needs to get to be better coordinated so that it can do what it says it is going to do.
The sensitivity now to detect a tumor only requires about 5,000 cells.
Good question, ssc, If I were to visit there as originally planned tomorrow and they had not yet press released its arrival I would be able to answer then. As I mentioned, something very important came up in tomorrow's schedule taking precedence over my meeting.
Yes but mhtx is still in the process of completing it's end of the deal, validation!
I don't blame you for selling. I just don't think I would be comfortable carrying 11 of my dozen eggs in this one, not yet proven to be sound, basket. Sorry. I'm a little funny that way!
Was it something he said? Or was no one at the conference except the presenters?
One more thing. Position sizing. If one has to sell a block of stock to make a down payment on a home, He has obviously gone, "all in". IMO that's not wise on a speculative OTCBB micro-cap with less revenue than expenses. I happen to believe that the company will be successful but even at this stage, there is risk of loss.
Yep. It would be short sighted mgmt. Not to treat it as you say.
Thanks, Hunch, What choice do you have? I hope they don't think that delivery of the unit to MDA is not press release worthy and that they covered that base with last 8K.
Good news bad news. My meeting with the Senior Scientific team scheduled May 30 from 11 to 1 in Albuquerque has been cancelled. Gerald is going to be in New York. Ed and Marv landed an important meeting with some one that could not mesh schedules any other time so I agreed to wait. I'm shooting for rescheduling to August 5 ish. Good will come from this!
