I'm glad you got your post in. My much earlier post in response to biopharm using his football analogy and his mistake of inside the 5 yd. line as 1st and 10 not 1st and goal...was deleted. Maybe PPHM needs a power back. PR
I will admit that I wish posters would stop wishing for a lower stock price on a continuing basis, then to expect an exponential turnaround of pps. The lower price goes, generally speaking, the more friction on its' reversal UP. This comes from decades of investing and is MO. PPHM needs to stay firmly entrenched around this price as a bottom,IMO. Be careful what you wish for,you may just get it. GL PR Anybody who lives in the northeast section of U.S.A. might be well served to get outside,if possible, this weekend. Beautiful September days are not a given. Peace.
Jeff Masten seemed to leave PPHM rather abruptly,IMO. His Linkedin profile states he is in Quality Control in L.A. area but no specific company that I can see(I am not a member so maybe it shows something more ). I personally find it interesting that posters keep quoting his testimony but he is no longer at PPHM for a reason, whether his decision or someone else. I am sure there is nothing to it but some do like to toss out speculation. I guess speculation replaces news until it hits. All the above is IMO and I am not accusing or suggesting wrongdoing. GL PR
If Warren Buffet were to join PPHM he might be one of the cheapest employees in management or various other depts.for that matter. His salary at Berkshire Hathaway is $100,000 per year. It has been the SAME for 25 years. That is a leader of companies. GL carpe diem PR
When cheynew posted 7/1/2014 it was AMERICAN version of dating i.e. 7=July,1-1st,etc. So 7/1/2014-July 1,2014. NOT the crazy European, etc. accepted method of DD/MM/YYYY...LOL. carpe diem PR
Although your post seemed as long as the section of the Boston Globe I'm reading it is the CAPITALIZATION of the VOTING RIGHTS that caught my attention. When has a retail holder of any shares of PPHM stock made a difference in voting? Seriously, I would like to know how much emphasis YOU place in voting and what impact it has on company policy? TIA GL PR
Wow. Buckle up. Up, down and all around. This is some craaazy trading. GL PR
Ok, first DUDE, I did not question your articles or your appreciation for PPHM. I do not understand why YOU have specifically been calling for specific scenarios to occur(IHUB and elsewhere) that have not,to my recollection, come true. Nobody on this board,or any other, should care how MANY shares a person owns. 1 share or a million you are still invested. That is MY opinion and has served me well when trying not to make too much of myself. You may certainly post anything you want as long as it meets TOS,but you are then subject to,like the rest of us,any and all criticism or praise. By the way I'm a published author and you don't hear me crowing about it every chance I get. Maybe(IMO) you should try a little humility and less braggadocio, again IMO. GL carpe diem PR
Losing portfolio value sucks no matter how many shares. As far as you responding to a poster who posted on Sept.2,2014 "...On a different note I'm thinking good news prior 9/9/14." Also posted he was going to ADD to his share collection to get to 400K.If this a buying opportunity then NOW should be the time to add those 20k shares,IMO. Yet he's now done buying. His decision but why post about getting to 400K.This is the craziest board, I swear. Posting that an investment strategy is when "bashers show up"...really? I still have a financial wealth advisor because he's 30 year relationship, not ONCE has THAT strategy been suggested. I retired in my 40s(that was a while ago). GL to you guys,I'm holding my PPHM shares because I can. I'd really like this to succeed more than I'm willing to state here. "...everybody funny, now you funny, too." GL carpe diem PR
I know you love PPHM but please, of all the scenarios that could be associated with another price drop for PPHM that is the one you throw out as potential? Where are the 5 million shares traded? If it's not options expiration this, or crooked MM that, it might be a hostile takeover? How about NO NEWS again and a silent company in the beginning of a Phase 3? If they come out with takeover news tonight I'll publish my mea culpa. GL PR
IMO, when you spend 100's of millions of dollars over decades to finally get to a Phase 3 that you believe might change the direction of medicine as we know it today it should NOT take a previous "fiasco" to make sure every aspect imaginable is covered. The people working at PPHM are supposed be bright, intelligent team players(180+ employees) that are given their time to shine. This is it;there will be no second chances this time around,IMO. Interesting times ahead, soon, hmmm? PR
I'm not sure why I think that's funny...but I do. Don't forget the stick and string. Maybe gift wrapped from Dangling Carrots Emporium.
Enrolling is nice...ENROLLED is better. IMO PR
ceo1-thank you and right back at you. Sorry no P/M. At least volume in PPHM land is UP. PR
Okay, so no questions about expanding Avid facilities(that I could find)with production revs about the same $5.5 million, but what strikes me is the burn rate. It was expected to rise but at $11 million per quarter with current programs running how much more will they need IF they expand to dozens of potential studies, et al? Avid revs have not increased YOY to any great extent so extrapolated cash burn(only a guesstimate) of $44 million is getting up there/Paul Lytle did state they had cash on hand (73 million) to last a year. I don't think between now and the coming year that will be sufficient. Cash from outside sources would help. The upcoming collaborations for pre-clinical,etc. will cost PPHM,IMO. It was proven last quarter with "...we saw an expected increase in our net loss this quarter..."(Paul Lytle) from SUNRISE trial advancement and as far as I can tell hopefully a third of patients have been enrolled. Money,Money,Money. Sadly, it is always about the money. IMO PR
I asked that question at 8:30 a.m. this morning. I do not have a relationship with IR and have never received a reply to the several questions I asked. Maybe wook or someone else who has had luck in the past with IR would be kind enough to call or e-mail. I know it's CC day but it should be worth a chance,IMO. PR
You know, IF a question related to this topic is asked it would signify to me that some in-the-know do read IHUB PPHM board. Would be nice. GL PR
I concur 100%. It is inexcusable to allow that oversight(or oversights) for a trial that I believe is make or break for PPHM. It is unfortunate retail are not allowed to ask questions in front of others i.e. C.C. Maybe some of the posters here who have a relationship with IR(I don't) could call and inquire about this,at least get it noticed by management and rectified. GL PR
Maybe I'm wrong but were you one of the defenders of Mary Boyd? I believe you thought she was (maybe) responsible for achieving the European sites(at least some of them) for Phase III trial? Not ALL Americans want foreign sites for trials actually it is the opposite. We cannot efficiently monitor,IMO, the extensive amount of time to make sure everything runs according to protocol. Hopefully only the lack of an updated trial site(or two) is the problem. PR
Just noticed that dia76ca and biopharm have been added as moderators. We seem to have a little bit of turnover on that front. Hopefully we can maintain some consistency there. GL PR
I hope that does not happen. That is fuel for a fire on this board that will be hard to douse,IMO. Sadly this fall is hard to extinguish as well. PR
Mergers, acquisitions, collaborations and partnerships SEEM to be happening at an increased rate of late. The good thing about that for those companies in the news is that all the other names in partnerships, etc. are also mentioned AGAIN in articles. It's called 'company awareness' and it works to put out companies to viewership and potential share increase. PPHM has been to a group of conferences, seminars, etc. but NO mention of PPHM directly associated with any pharma(other than IHUB) that I can find that relates to trials ongoing that are producing results that are published in PRs.(I could be wrong)I know,I know just wait for this or that but IMO time is running short for larger collaborations, payments, etc. from BP. PPHM needs its' name out there SOON(could not resist).Speculation about Bavi needed for every combination of every BP is just that, speculation. Sadly this group needs to get their brand out NOW. IMO. PR
Remember that nobody expects you to ingest feathers. Your hopeful prediction was at least IMO plausible. But alas,'twas not. GL PR
Table just large enough for a sit down crow dinner? LOL Your guess I assume was the hopeful, potential kind...IMO,no harm no fowl! (I know crow is NOT fowl) PR
Does anyone know if there were restrictions on questions at ASM PRIOR to 2012? PR
IMO,sans NEWS there is no reason for excitement a la buying uptick. PPHM may be doing what is necessary to run a successful Phase 3 trial but they don't PR and a SMALL bio with no news just floats. I'm happy to see it still in the $1.60's,sad to say. Wait for news with teeth, whenever that is. IMO,I don't think the CC will be it BUT you never know until it happens. PR
Oh,Devil Proxy where for art thou? Show yourself so that we may rid this board of the fog of unanswerable questions, thinly veiled innuendo and the dreaded "I know what's in it."..."No,you don't." Release us from the chicanery afoot and set us on a truthful path...whatever the Hell that is! Or in other words...Come on already! carpe diem PR
Pennystock Saver(?) I'm not sure if that was the handle. PR
I'm having trouble bringing up CC from March but I BELIEVE it was that CC someone from PPHM stated that IF enrollment was substantially behind or ahead of schedule PPHM would PR that info. Maybe I'm just dizzy from the fact the sun is out 2 days in a row...LOL. I could be wrong.Bring on the PROXY. PR
Ooh,ooh,ooh...pick me,pick me. Unemon? PPHM sure is popular lately. PR
I'm hoping for Proxy today so we can put to rest, albeit temporarily I'm sure, the chatter about...well, you know. PR
Did you Google K&L Gates recently? It has happened to me also after Googling different entities, then my Spam folder gets that firm's letterhead(allegedly associated) with bogus claims. Always inventive but does not say much for Google,IMO. PR
Post Holdings buys PPHM and creates 'Honey Bunches of Bavi' now with "More PS Targeting Goodness". "Can't Get Enough of That Good,Good Stuff." Seriously PPHM with their limited finances should focus on the most available prize,IMO! All the jabber of fuel, farm crops and almost every disease known to man is pure poppycock. Stick to what you know... CANCER,IMO. There is my worthless 2 cents. PR
I had a bowl of Alpha-Bits cereal this morning(yes they STILL make it although it tasted like it was made in the 60's)and the LAST four letters in the bowl were, wait for it...PPHM! Freaky,eh? PR
Covert selling of PPHMP shares to partner(s),accelerated trial sites enrollment because of,wait for it...partner(s),too many patients can be enrolled in one particular area of the world because of partner(s). Over 100 days between PRs because of...should have been partner(s) but it was just GOOD science news...sigh. How can a cigar be just a cigar with all that overwhelming innuendo, speculation, and conspiracy theories afoot?! LOL...People are funny and they ALWAYS will be. IMO PR
I agree. It gets PPHM name out in a positive spin,PPS rises almost without fail and not just for a few hours. ATM can be had with less dilution and Bavi and all its potential is also in focus,IMO. It's a win-win. carpe diem PR EDIT: And if they have to the mgmt. can issue raises and use that money to purchase on the open market.
It looks like Dart(Eastern Capital) is at 3.49%. Was that higher or have the number of shares outstanding increased making the percentage lower? Anyway you slice it 22% is 22%. Thanks for the breakdown. PR
To be honest,Morgan Stanley just decreased 2838 positions so that "Hmmm" can be asked about a LOT of stocks. PR
Maybe 'huffing' paint fumes, then PPHM will always have that rosy glow...LOL That BOD buying never gets old. PR
Joe seems to be the analysts equivalent of ClayTrader...lol. He writes and down we go. I'm sure just temporary but still... PR
