Yup, "egg-gate" aside. I think it's a pretty nifty idea.
I'd use that...
Another unsubstantiated prediction? Are we to file this in the gàrbàge section of the filing cabinet along with with other notable predictions of: national roasting of the founder by the press, sub $5 by end of April, conpany never will cash in on its 2012 receivables, no Form 10, no audit, on & on & on....
Or traders are vacationing, holding the stock, and investors are not buying at anything over $29 from the looks of it... Why would they buy in at $30+ when this stock has traded heavy between $15-30? Wash trade allegations are preposterous.
Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with walking away from a 15 felony count indictment, clean. Sorry, but he was made COO awfully close to that case going away. A blind wombat can see the correlation.
Umm...
" run by a felon"
No one cares
"or using a scam auditor "
Company addressed that pretty well I thought
"or filing fraudulent financials"....
Huh!?
Poor conjecture on that one Risi. A company in Medbox's position that was blessed with a ridiculous share price would be foolish to not sell restricted stock if it had the opportunity. Restricted stock has a one year hold time In Medbox's position. Moreover, you speak of a transaction that the company stated in PRs would close in Q2 so that is a bit premature.
Wrong again. If a company has an inflated stock they would invite a RICO action if they sold restricted stock at inflated levels. Smart play for the company to sell at sub $10 as they had indicated in filings.
No way! You mean the company sold restricted stock to be held for a minimum of a year for less than market rate?? That's outrageous!! LOL ... I love how you consider it a BOX when there is minimal selling pressure everyday.
I think you meant "restricted" shares instead of "preferred"
Your post seemed to indicate that which is why 236 blew a circuit responding to it.
Drummin', you got some splainin' to do. Are you claiming you were issued preferred shares from the company directly or purchased them from affiliates?
Wrong. A day like today, with zero selling pressure, is good day for MDBX. It means people are holding their stock.
Those haven't been filed with the SEC yet. They simply stated they are filing those with the SEC along with comments. Why are the most rudimentary things questioned? It's silly
Ever heard of lemons into lemonade. This guy, for what it's worth has intrinsic business smarts, or is purely lucky. More likely a combination of both.
The national momentum of cannabis seems to indicate otherwise. The guy made a bet that the "drug" would be seen as a commodity in years to come. He was right.... Sounds like you're blowin' smoke. Pun intended.
I enjoy defending Vinny because it bothers you guys so damn much. Lol
Again 236, no one cares! The claims as to a public crucifixion at the hands of the national media was just another botched prediction.
Show us that he sold drugs. He has repeatedly said in interviews that he operated dispensaries for a few months during 2007-2008 before he realized the industry needed to get cleaned up and he had his idea to help legitimize an illegitimate industry at the time. So what drugs besides medical marijuana are you referring to? You say he had 30 charges. Any of them pending? Has he been to jail? You simply don't know and claiming you do makes it look like sour grapes more than anything.
Well this post is just filled with inaccuracies. 30 charges, drug running, Madoff comparisons...really?? Sounds like an axe to grind. Still trying to figure out why though? Since he's not going to jail, and is seemingly a self-made multi-millionaire, does the jealousy card now come into play here a bit guys. Sorry, but it sounds like it.
Honestly, it's so mind numbing its scary. This same point has been discussed so many times here. Wow
That really depends on who you ask. If you are the type to judge a man based on that then you are fortunately among a very narrow contingent of society. Most of us look at the whole picture and wouldn't even attempt to judge a person without meeting them first. It's common sense.
Read the withdrawal letter again. They clearly state they are refiling with comments addressed and a fresh set of financials. Good news for the company that it doesn't attract stock interest from the penny stock players here at IHUB. Sophisticated investors know their arse from their elbow and understand that a withdraw and refile even happens with blue chip companies and is actually quite common.
Sure, I hub is famous for its biometric login protocol. The theory here is Vinny was banned so he can no longer find a computer and create an email address? To use one of your own analogies, a dumb blind dog can see the truth and your theory doesn't appear to be likely.
They pointed out where OTC made a mistake linking the unaudited financials. Wow, what a scam! LOLOL
Sure, it's that hard to create an account here and post? Is that your best and final answer to why Vinny is no longer joining us here? I think it's because defending himself on a message board is a fool's errand and he realized that fact a few months ago.
Paper held for a year should be worth far less than market value. FYI
Well I guess everybody's entitled to their opinion. Looks like the LA DA let that "career criminal" free without as much as a trial. Looks like they sized him up differently than you did. I would give more cred to them. Most would if they have any sense at all.
Well that's not accurate at all. His personal assistant got booted for going on attack mode. Yes, I am actually dumb enough to believe it was the assistant. Vincent has a pretty clear voice and none of that came through after he supposedly turned the account over and was done with this site.
I'm glad the guy has better things to do than come back here and gloating. That shows class after being attacked here for months.
I doubt Vinny will be back here to gloat though or he would have already. Looks like he's graduated from feeling like he has to defend himself or the company he started on a message board. Glad he has seemingly matured although time will tell.
I was just asking where he based his statement from. He must be taking this from a disclosure somewhere? Or is it just pure fiction?
Where in the world did you get that from? The Shares outstanding does not support that statement at all!
Evidence was posted here that he was never a pubco officer and he stepped down as the CEO of a subsidiary well before any talk here so I'm not sure where you are getting that from. Anyway, who cares. He's on now. Hardly running away from the "scam".
Whatever it was, you have to admit it's interesting to say the least.
That implies he went to trial and was acquitted incorrectly. This one didn't even have to go to trial. They just let him go because apparently their case was a pile of garbàgé
I specifically asked the corporate office about this since I'm an existing client and they informed me it would be resolved on the 12th. I then noticed the OTC site had him listed as an officer when I checked the other day. I'm assuming the dismissal happened as predicted. It just seemed so out of left field.
Oh, you didn't hear? As predicted the charges were dismissed. He is an officer and chairman of the board now. I personally wish him and the company the best.
I wouldn't touch their stock with a ten foot pole at this pps, but I love their business model and like the company.
The logic is that there is actual market support as a result of notoriety, being touted as an industry leader, features in Bloomberg, Fox, CNBC, Etc.
It's so obvious, it's almost silly to keep stating things that are common sense.
On the contrary. There is one dynamic you are failing to see that differentiates this company from others you might suspect are manipulating. They have been featured in interviews on major networks and news agencies. That's what you are missing or refusing to see. If you disagree, name one other pink sheet that has been interviewed by Maria Bartiromo on Closing Bell. You can't.
I don't think he missed anything Risi. You feel a certain way and others differ with your opinion. That is allowed here still, right?
This chart over the last 6 months defies any logic but is still strangely reminiscent of an actual, viable, chart. No evidence of any impropriety here at all.
