My estimate is 0.65 a share for MDMN IF (1) the terms published
for the JV are clear and perceived to be beneficial to Medinah
over the long term AND (2) an aggressive PR campaign
is implemented.
"JUST to let everyone know the private board is still active on MP! "
Who are the more noted members of the private board?
There are large areas of exposed matrix on opposite sides of the mountain where representive samples can be obtained without drilling. Also there are three old moly mines penetrating the mountain (anyone know the length of these mines?) where samples were obtained. And then there are results from the old drill program and the trenching samples. As Juan said at the AGM, "We know exactly what we have." The negotiating potential partners know also. So close the JV deal already.
With Mining Play shut down I would appreciate. that the first time anyone sees some news, they would post it here.
Maybe everyone is suspended this time - not just you.
The is talk of percentages of the joint venture divided
among Cerro Dorado, Medinah and Quijano. I hope the
Directors of Cerro realize that they have a fiduciary
responsibility to their shareholders to obtain an
equitable, fair share of the JV for Cerro.
Sitting here in Conway, things aren't always that clear,
but I believe that Juan is negotiating with the
majors, not Les.
Yes, you're probably correct. If he had said that "we will
have a completed agreement, signed by all parties", then that
would have been meaningful. Les has already said that no more changes will be made in the contract so he has a "completed agreement" right now. It's just not signed yet. Lespeak is so
frustrating. When will the contract be signed? What is the
delay?
I sincerely apologize. You are absolutely correct.

It's just so unbelievable and rinky-dink.
Reminiscent of when Les' NPER owned a Vancouver
phone company to pay extraneous bills.
That's a fake news release that you composed.
You should be banned (or worse).
Thanks, Brent. That is very useful. Can a money-flow
subchart be added to the bottom of those main charts?
Brent, here's a site pushing Cerro as a potential 20-bagger. Neat charts on page 2. The site was mentioned on MP2007 (whose main shortcoming is ignoring CDCH in favor of MDMN).

Excellent information and reporting Geoly. We greatly appreciate your DD. Looks like MP2007's loss is IHub's gain. JJ appears to be wrapping it up.
OT - Thanks for the prompt reply Jack.
Jack, what's your take on:
(They have done a lot of drilling)

Does anyone miss Handshake(TM)'s rants?
He is alive and well(?) on Silicon Investor
until his suspension is lifted here.
I read the continuing two-week process to mean
that questions will continue to be answered on the homepage
and this process will not stop when negotiations are concluded.
After an agreement in finalized, there will
be many more questions.
geoly, do you think we will know when Les
is in Chile? Or will they keep it a secret?
I don't see how your conjecture could be valid if Juan has informed the bidders as we have been told, "Look, this is the minimum that we will accept. Only submit bids above this minimum." We should get several acceptable bids.
Unless companies issue more stock, they get no direct financial benefit from increased trading volume. It is simply a sales transfer from the existing owner to a new owner in which the company doesn't participate. Of course, companies are always interested in higher prices for their stock since officers usually own a lot and it makes them richer. Cerro's complete lack of internal publicity is indeed puzzling, but there must be a reason.
Geoly, what's wrong with you? If it hadn't been for
Mike's untiring efforts over many years, the paid bashers
would have killed these companies a long time ago and
you would have never heard of Medinah and Cerro. I
expected better since you have made the greatest effort
of due diligence of any newcomer. Now the others are
just trying to get Mike's goat and have him shut down
this thread as well. They are going to get rich and
they owe it all to Mike; yet they get perverse pleasure from
beating up on him. As the old saying goes, "People are no good."
Up-date on the Medinah home page. Negotiations continue with several majors to purchase the property. Thank you Les Price.
Nevermind, I found the English version.

You got me there. Wish he wouldn't blog in Spanish though.
We don't have a clue as to what, or what not, Juan is doing.
Apparently the only one who knows is Juan and, so far, he's not telling. We need an authenic status report.
They ain't getting no salary so they would deserve to receive shares? There has got to have some incentive for being with a company. That's good as it puts us all in the same boat.
A major shareholder may have been selling shares in order
to make ends meet while waiting for a signed agreement.
I know that I had to. However, it doesn't make sense to believe that there is a long term strategy to drag out the process so this could be accomplished. It would be much more easier and profitable to "pump" the company's prospects and sell quickly into the inflated price and volume. Obviously, the company has not been doing any classic pumping; in fact, the continual company silence on the status of negotiations has had the reverse effect. As it is, there has been a gradual deterioration in share price and any seller would be getting less, not more, for his shares.
Wasn't talking about shares; it was about maximizing monetary
return. But apparently you have plenty of money.
Why would anyone who believes in the JV occurring accept an even money bet??? You should buy more stock with the money as the payoff would be much greater than 100% if the deal went through.
Thanks George. Most of us greatly appreciate your efforts and subsequent reports. Getting bids from two competing groups is bound to be better (but it sure takes a long time).
A little something on DiaMet. Seems they
eventually got $21Can a share.

We've had an official offer for over six months.
geoly31, so you're saying your "It's in" post referred to your market order to buy more shares?
And the chart looks to be breaking out.
The chart URL is below.

Is no one excited?
(note--- left click the chart to make it large)
I think the 8 million shares traded today is a volume record for Medinah. Next week may be here this week.
All this waiting is so unnecessary. We have been led to believe that the JV announcement will be made "next week" since March 2006. That's 57 weeks of getting hopes up only to have them dashed on each Friday. Meanwhile our finances suffer as we are scrimping to stay fully invested in CDCH/MDMN. Anytime that I have to sell some shares to pay the bills, I agonize if I am doing the right thing. Why doesn't management tell us an approximate timeframe when they expect the JV agreement will be announced? They certainly have an idea. If it probably will be three months more, tell us so. We could handle that much better than this next week nonsense. If that estimated time was not met, then give us the next estimated timeframe. Then we could plan our lives and not waste so much time reading these message boards. This week-to-week business just isn't getting it done. An educated guess please.
You're right. I can think of one copious consumer.
Banned? He must be considered worse than a serial killer as
one can see that most everyone else is allowed on
Raging Bull.
I guess management doesn't want us to post as Sumi has probably gotten upset by the leaks which compromise their position with other potential bidders. Therefore we should refrain from posting and management should continue to post periodic status reports on their website.
I thought someone said that the offer was already in hand
in Vancouver. Was that untrue?
