It's been about a month. Oral arguments were April 15th
He wrote two articles, one is also in the opinion column. He is ridiculous, for 2 years (he joined the argument late) he's been trying to convince people how bad this is - all for clicks and reads. It's sad how hard he tries.
$FNMA first time I've seen an article about Fannie and Freddie in rolling stone. http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/why-is-the-obama-administration-trying-to-keep-11-000-documents-sealed-20160418
Did you happen to listen to the oral arguments presented in the Perry appeal today? If so, your thoughts?
Will this eventually be the link to the live webcast of the oral arguments tomorrow?
In your opinion do you believe any reforming of the GSE's needs to be done?
Thanks again for the reply btw - always appreciate your view.
How long does it take for a judgement after the Perry appeals on April 15th?
Your thoughts on "A More Promising Road to GSE reform" ( https://www.economy.com/mark-zandi/documents/2016-03-22-A-More-Promising-Road-To-GSE-Reform.pdf) and the latest Carney article posted today (http://blogs.wsj.com/moneybeat/2016/04/04/why-fannie-and-freddie-cannot-be-recapitalized/ ) ?
What events are you looking forward to in 2016 in regards to GSE litigation? What about in housing policy regarding the GSEs?
He gets paid by # of views not whether the share price goes up or down.
Was a response ever issued to Rep. Mulvaney from Lew/Watt?
40 mill shares* of common. He added only $11 mill worth of common. He added almost $100 mill worth of pref.
Obiterspearean at its finest.
Feb 20th 2016*
You don't but your article is from March 14th, 2014. Today is February 19th, 2016.
I think that if the proverbial leash were removed from Fannie n Freddie that operations would improve significantly - they are 11 billion $/yr companies who've been in this business since the 30s. I didn't read the article - I stopped reading his "articles" a year ago or so because he can't even comprehend the defn of conservator.
He writes that way to provide a contrarian viewpoint, mostly to get a rise out of the public. He fixates on one key thing and expands it to the point of bursting. Plain and simple - he's a troll.
Anyone have a link to the recorded audio of watts speech today?
Thanks for the reply.
I think you need to read some more
With regards to the latest gov't filing in the Delaware case - is it true that federal law trumps state law for two corporations embodied in those states? What are your thoughts on the latest filing by the gov't in the Delaware case?
Last time I checked a question mark does not indicate a statement.
Bottom confirmed?
Short it
Let me know when there's a 3 million dump
Is otcmarkets level 2 on fnma working for anyone else?
Yeah, sorry getting Myron Steele n sleet mixed up.
When do you speculate judge Steele rules on the latest briefing file?
Well I guess you can't see it since it's not there.
If you look on Morningstar you can see it.
Recently it's been noticed that Ackman's stake from ownership in FNMA & FMCC has disappeared. I know hedge funds don't have to report that they own FNMA and FMCC but I thought if you had a >~10% stake that you had to report it? Is it possible that Ackman sold his stake without it leaking into the media?
Thanks
What are your thoughts on the preferred?
My views upon the preferred have not altered - that bring that they are still a "safer" alternative to investing in the GSE's. Any change in your thoughts on the preferreds?
Why do you think there has been so much negativity towards the preferred shares all of a sudden?
