BDIC-O/S Common Stock Exchange-CEO Laurence Wainer Commits to Exchange Common Stock for Non-Trading Preferred Stock
Nice to see us closing in on .50s today!!! :) Now it just needs to stick! :P
By the way, Sobek--you seem familiar to me. Were or are you invested in HJOE by chance? I'm still in with several million shares. Hoping they can get back to trading again someday!!! I order their Jerky all the time, its freaking delicious. The energy shots are really good too! :)
We're getting there! Nice news on the Lubbock County market this morning. Big time need for these devices. I can't wait until they are able to get into full blown production mode as it would appear the need for these devices is most definitely THERE.
From your lips to God's ears!! :) Hoping its all smooth sailing from here!
So, in order to meet their goal of 10,000 units by the end of 2017, which the demand certainly sustains as evidenced by their units being leased within 24 hours of receipt, they are expecting to have 1000 more units available for lease by the end of the next quarter (Jun?) so they would need to get a minimum of 3150 units produced for each of the two remaining quarters this year. I'm guessing they believe that they can get these higher numbers of units produced now that they have the revenue being generated by the 3700 units that will be in full circulation by the end of next quarter?
All excellent points and why those of us who are in are her. Sobek pointed out that while certainly there is competition, they are the only company in this space that is publicly trading.
Hello Chakala, welcome aboard. There are two posters on this board that are WAY smarter than me when it comes to BDIC--Sobek and Bot2soon. I recommend you read their posts as a lot of what you are asking are the same questions I had and they answered them in a way that was clear and understandable. I lso recommend that you take a good look at what's posted at the top of the board, that includes how many units are currently leased out, they are in the process of getting 1000 more ready for the end of this quarter and as soon as they have them they lease out in less than 24 hours. If memory serves me they are licensed to do business in 11 states. I don't recall exactly how much the units cost but I think its an initial investment of about $200 plus a monthly rental fee. They should be coming out with an update by the end of the month, but thus far they have been increasing their revenues quarter after quarter. You should also read all the shareholder updates out by the CEO. Good luck with your investment!!!
Hi Sobek, excellent info, thanks so much for sharing. I would agree that the public is currently undervaluing their shares, which for now, I'm ok with as it provides me with a little more time to pick up a few more! :) Glad to see they have all their components for their next batch of 1000 units which as always will likely be sold out just as soon as they put them together! The day will come when it won't be quite so easy to grab these shares at such a discount. Looking forward to their filings at the end of the month!
That is true. I've met him personally and felt the same way. However, he DOES have influence. In so far as the stock goes, I am concerned about the unlimited number of shares. Will likely sit this out until I see some significant movement with orders and revenues. GLTY!
I'm an Irish lass but grew up in a military family and work in a predominantly male field--not easily offended!! :)
Happy St. Paddy's to you too!
Thx--I definitely need to read up and get smarter on all those technical markers so I have a better idea of what the hell I'm doing. Would definitely help in avoiding some ugly losses!
I'm going to put PTOTF on my watchlist and see what it does this coming year. It intrigues me, but yes, anything with unlimited shares is probably best to stay away from until they start showing some sales/revenues which right now is O.
THX!
Sobek--are you just trading DTII or does the technology actually intrigue you? I ask because I just came upon PTOTF which is another security play not only for schools, but also airports, stadiums, theaters, churches, etc. but with a far smaller less obtrusive footprint. They have managed to get Tom Ridge on their board. They seem like a rather "new" company and since they are extremely new to the table their share price may be a little high (with no real revenues yet), but I was wondering if A) you were aware of the company and B) what you think. I'm in the Crisis and Emergency Management field so this stuff always intrigues me--especially since in our work with schools, the leaders are usually so reticent to having metal detectors in an academic environment--churches and clubs don't really want to either...at any rate, I was just curious if you had come across them in your daily searches.
They are going to the big Security Conference in April where they are going to get a lot more exposure, and it looks like they are ready to execute as orders star coming in...they seem pretty consistent with putting PRs out. Don't you think the PPS will rise once this things starts getting more eyes on? Having Tom Ridge on board doesn't hurt!
Yes, I agree--totally worth the wait and the risk at this point! Thanks for your insights and for reducing all the legalese into understandable English! :) It really helps. Good luck with your sub penny's and trips (seems like you've been on a tear!) How can you tell if those are even real companies? With the internet these days it is so hard to decipher what's real from what is pure B.S.!!
Glad to see you still here! We agree on the name of the company and their ticker symbol--by the same token, there's NO confusing what the product is!!! :)
Nice move on the gold play!

Nice move on the gold play!
Thanks, makes sense!!!
Also, if Wainer received 1 million shares for the $25K of back money he is owed, but isnt that million shares worth $349,300 (multiplied by the current stock price? Hell I'd take that deal ANY day!!!!!!
Am I missing something?
Just saw that. So, do you think the reason they issued those restricted shares is so that when they do their earnings it will reduce the liabilities column by that $25K?
Actually Sobek, I was unaware that BDIC is the only publicly traded company in this space--good to know, thx! Their integration into MADD particularly if as you say they were unheard of by them over a year ago is SPECTACULAR, as it tells me they are now a fully recognized participant in this space! your input completely strengthens my resolve to stick with it here (even if it means waiting it out)--if we are able to eek out even a small percentage of a potential $1.1 BILLION market, that would be superb--!!
On a funny sidenote, [and not to be a prude, but] the ONLY thing I don't really like is the ticker symbol--used to work with a girl named Betty Loewendick (german name I think) and poor girl, her computer alias at the company was "BLoewendick@xxx.com" which was funny and we of course teased her mercilessly, but had to be awful for her! She was the nicest, most polite southern girl ever. BDIC sounds a little too close to that. ;) However, once this thing starts to rock and roll, I'm sure I will get over the name NO PROBLEM (HAHAHAHAHAHA)
I wonder where BOT2SOON has been hiding? Haven't "seen" him chime in for days. Hope all is well there.
You and I may be the last two here or on our own until this gets some real traction. Thanks for all the insights and excellent information you have shared, I sincerely appreciate it. Sometimes I can't help wonder what the hell I am even doing investing in the market, I don't know anything about all the technical ins and outs and often don't understand a lot of the information that is presented (everything seems so complicated and not straightforward)..so my investments are usually based on gut, what I hear/read from others, stuff I like or that intrigues me, etc. In some cases I've done VERY VERY well, in others I've done HORRID!!!!! I usually stay away from the pennies because they seem SO RISKY, but this one really caught my attention and intrigue and I decided to jump in. I'm glad I did!!
Good eye, Sobek, and those are some incredible metrics. I'm amazed that this stock is so under the radar. This is definitely one of those instances where we just need to be patient as they catch up with demand which, we all know is obviously there, and this company is well positioned with all its permits and licences in so many states. I hope they keep up the good work. Thanks for pointing out that page!!
Thanks!! That's not long to wait for what will hopefully be OUTSTANDING NEWS. Now I just gotta figure out how to get my hands on a little more cash for some additional shares! :)
Do you know when they usually file? THX!
Yup. Looks like we have to exercise some patience here for the revenues to really start rolling in. Pick up some more cheapies along the way!!
Thanks for doing that! i'd sure like to buy more at this price!!!
Feel the same way with this dip. Wish I had more spare cash available!! Damn it!!!!
p.s. glad you never got hurt nor hurt anyone. We all partied hard back in the day--wish Uber was around back then!!!
With the amount of traffic and the number of horrible drivers on the roads these days, I'm surprised anyone would even dare to drive under the influence as you have to have your wits about you at ALL times!! I mean, most of us have done it at some point or another--I can't point any fingers as I have taken the chance myself a few times (way back in the day), but it was always later at night with less cars on the road and I always made a point of taking the back streets and driving VERY slow--and never long distances--I wanted to make sure I made it home. I was pulled over once and had to blow and blew a .06 which the cop told me he could take me in for, but instead let me go, so long as my passenger (who drank far more than I did, but blew a lower number, how is that?) drove us straight to the Denny's where we required to sit down, eat a big breakfast and drink coffee--nothing I was in the mood for at 2:00 am but beat getting hauled down to the station!! At this stage (I live in the DC area--I look around me when I'm driving and all I saw are distracted drivers all around me--texting, reading books (while driving, hello!!?), putting makeup on, eating, tending to kids in the backseat (just got rear-ended last week at a stop light but one of those)--elderly and confused, young and far too aggressively weaving in and out of traffic lanes and cutting people off in an attempt to pass slower drivers, and god only knows how many drivers are driving on drugs. I know I am taking my life into my hands whenever I get behind the wheel here, so nowadays I wouldn't even DREAM of having a few drinks and driving. But I also think that while there are all sorts of slogans and ads geared to getting people to not drink and drive, no one really thinks anything will happen to them. I am 100% certain that not only that, they are unaware of the fact that NOT only might you go to jail, but losing your licence and having to get one of these devices installed that YOU have to pay for also comes with the territory--I know I certainly never considered it back in my drinking days --although the devices weren't likely in existence 20 years ago. I agree though, if the states start lowering the legal intoxication rate, its only going to be good for business (and good for our stock!). Sucks for the folks drinking...
NICE!! One thing I don't understand and it's my lack of knowledge, but why WOULDN'T Donahey want the CEO to retire his shares--wouldn't that make the shares they got (and ours) far more valuable?
Agree. I know its important to be patient, especially with a small, startup company trying to get its legs under them. The EXCELLENT thing is that the NEED outweighs their inventory and that's a good problem to have as long as you do things smartly. I recently read a story about how Kate Middleton's engagement dress (made by a small unknown designer) put the designer out of business because it was too costly for her to try and keep up with the demand. On the flip side I also remember when AOL decided to do a webcast of the Victoria's Secret Lingerie fashion show and did not anticipate there would be over a million viewers that essentially crashed their site back in the day--of course, they were in a much better position than the small fashion designed and what this fiasco pointed out to them was that there was a need that they didn't anticipate and they immediately went to work on filling that need by expanding their information pipeline and gaining new members to their site. This one is going to require some patience and I hope the management can execute successfully as the need has been proven and BDIC has done a great job of getting approvals for their system in so many states. Now their task is to figure out how to meet and keep up with demand before competitors try to steal their business!
So, its likely there is a lot more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye. What strikes me is that it seems like they place an order, wait to get it, receive it and its sold out within 48 hours (which is AWESOME). But I can't help wonder, if the units go so quickly, why order in a bulk format instead of a situation where there are units becoming available on more of a weekly or even bi-weekly basis as it seems like the sales/rentals of the units could realistically become a daily thing--thereby generating revenue more quickly? Or is this just a startup problem (e.g., access to money to be able to place the orders) and, if being placed from a 3rd party manufacturer are required to place a minimum order? Right now it seems like they make a decision to order a few units to "see" if they can get them sold and then when the units arrive they go like wildfire and we're back to trying to get more units, as opposed to placing the next order midway through the development of the batch that is being waited on so that its not another 3 months before you get more inventory? I suppose it has to do with having the money on hand to place the orders so as not to have to borrow money to pay, but it leaves me wondering why they haven't gone ahead to a system where they are able to distribute at least 200 units on a weekly basis, as it appears the demand is definitely there. Perhaps that day will come soon! At any rate, it looks like they are making significant progress which is AWESOME....
Thanks Bot--good luck to you with this investment!!
Yes, the PR on the San Antonio dealer is what prompted me to want to buy a few more shares! I'm only at 30,000 right now, but I feel its a nice, solid number. :) I keep reading the DD you've posted and feel that even if it takes a little time, this investment is a solid place to be. I appreciate reading the posts between you and "Bottosoon' as well. While I was in Fl last weekend at my brother's wedding, I learned from my nephew that he JUST had his device removed from his vehicle after 7 years (was arrested and jailed as a 2x DUI offender). I hope he's learned his lessons (seems like) but it was interesting to be able to speak with him a little about how it worked, how much he had to pay, etc. I am surprised that there are ONLY some 300K of these out there n use right now, I would have thought the numbers would be far higher. With the legalization of marijuana in so many states that will become a whole new issue/market. Hopefully BDIC will get a jump start and will be very successful as a result. GLTA!!!!
I actually grabbed 2500 of those .365s so I'm ecstatic! I'm here for the duration and was loving the close today!!! Thanks for posting the new info!!
Wow--you are SUPER informed!! Thanks for being so clear!! I have several shares here (bought on a lark) and think the company has serious potential, but your points are well taken regarding the share structure. i will stick with it, but will keep my eyes open.
Thank you--I wonder why the PR contradicts what's in the filing?
Looking at the numbers below, I'm coming up with 4200 devices rolled out in 2016 with funding for another 2200 awarded in November. Am I missing something--seems folks here are basing revenue estimates on MUCH lower numbers of devices currently leased? Thx!
