The iRadio business seems to compete with Pandora and Spotify more than anyone else. I think the existing radio stations that play music will be hurt as well. This is where PlayMPE revenues may drop off as fewer independent radio stations will exist as a venue for Promotional Music streams. Apple seems to be interested in taking a major slice of the advertising revenues away from radio stations.
If Destiny is still used to stream to iRadio, then the revenues may grow.
Dear OTC Exchange Executives:
I would like to rescind the 20k share sell trade at 79 cents I made several weeks ago. I pushed the sell button when I really meant to push the buy button. I was distracted by my dog or something else at the time. It was a moment of temporary insanity that led to that mistake.
If you could correct that error I sure would appreciate it.
Thank you.
Amateurs? Anyone who uses the "total paranoia is total awareness." method must be one of the professionals.
Aren't you so full of joy this morning, eh?
Google isn't the concern. They don't do frivolous lawsuits because that is outside of their charter. They can afford to pay the penalty when they do. Chinese companies are a bigger concern.
Destiny needs to lock down its core customers as soon as possible. I like the movie trailer business. It is worldwide marketing and it needs broad device advertising. This is a great market to start in.
Anyone have any comments on Apple's iRadio impact on Play MPE?
It seems that Apple wants to put the radio stations out of business by grabbing their listeners and the advertising dollars.
This might slow the expansion of Play MPE unless Apple will be receiving new releases from Destiny.
FYI - I changed my DestinyDough ID so that I can post on other boards without appearing to be biased for a tiny OTC stock.
I won't depend on Destiny's video to define Transcoding.
the Wikipedia definition is;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcoding
If Clipstream G2 is encoding, then what really is transcoding?
H-265 is encoding and H-265 is encoding and WebM is encoding. All Youtube does is produce and use copies of each format for a webpage to select the best format for each user device.
The raw video files are input into and transformed by Clipstream G2 into a new form. Even if the original conversion is just encoding, part of the Clipstream G2 Solution is transcoding by adjusting the resolution for lower quality devices.
Not true: 'G2 eliminates the need for transcoding.'
Clipstream G2 is transcoding, so it can't eliminate transcoding.
Clipstream G2 eliminates the need for multiple transcoding for each video file.
Brooklyn, I can't tell what that product is. Is it a hardware chip or a software solution. H-264 standard is going away anyway - so why would you want to standardize on a transcoding solution with the H-264 format?
It seems that they are embedding their H-264 graphics processing solution into hardware - which has nothing to do with Clipstream G2.
After further review of their website, this company is a video streaming equipment and service provider. Clipstream G2 will reduce the need for video streaming servers and hosting.
Destiny has my list of issues, so that is all I will say.
The first patent document was filed in August 2011. So the plan for Clipstream G2 was started before then.
Only the insiders at the company know, but does it really matter?
The company had Play MPE v5 development going on for 2 years until May 2012. So we can't discern what work effort was used for Play MPE vs Clipstream G2 over the last 3 years.
I can only gauge what changes I have seen in the showcase videos. I am still waiting for some improvements to show up, so they won't be done this month.
Updated FIPS 140-3 Security Criteria will be published in August 2013. The current 140-2 criteria was published 10+ years ago.

TCCO must be working with OEMs on the new FIPS 140-3 criteria as well.

Destiny is creating a competitor to WebM, H-265, and H-264. Those technologies have years of development into them from multiple companies.
Destiny is using technology that they developed in their video game software in the 90s as well as their Clipstream G1 technologies.
Yes, it is quite a puzzle that they have tried to solve. The question is how will they do against the current competitors as well as the future versions of Web-M and H-265.
Critical Path planning is very accurate when the project is similar to recent projects that you have done in the past, e.g. building construction.
Innovations are difficult to plan in a critical path although you can set a schedule and revise the schedule when needed.
Companies have to develop new innovations in stages. Apple did not build the iphone first. Instead, it built the iPod and built up their technology where the innovations of the iPhone were achievable.
Destiny is taking on a lot of variables on this project; multiple browsers, many OEMs, different OSs, etc. They can scale down their goals, or develop it out in tiers of uses. The market research users are the best platform to deliver first.
The Latest Details from the New 10Q Report. I like the reference to multiple OEMs and the new products are being sold and customer tested in 2013.
TCCO 'is in the process of reorienting some of its development investment toward collaborative product developments with major original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”). The Company began establishing these technical partnerships in 2012 and we expect that full-scale product development will begin in 2013. TCC plans for the resulting products to be imbedded proprietary encryption solutions that will significantly enhance the value of the OEMs’ products and allow TCC encryption to be carried to the market by major equipment providers.'
HSE 6000 - 'Customer field testing is expected to begin in the second half of fiscal 2013.'
'the CX7211, is scheduled for installation with initial customers in 2013.'
Interesting Article on Apple products for the DoD.
http://wallstcheatsheet.com/stocks/finally-apple-gets-pentagon-approval.html/
There is no indication of TCCO in this mix, but there are some undisclosed details missing about how Apple, Samsung, and Blackberry got approved products. DoD is planning to purchase 600,000 iOS devices.
This article identifies iOS 7 as the approved OS. Since iOS 7 has not been released yet, we do not know much about iOS 7.
Can you clarify your '&@^$^#' statement, please? :)
If you have free cash available, you can use it to grab that 106,000 share block at 92 cents. Sure it would be better at 87 cents, but isn't 92 cents a fair price?
Correction - 108,000 shares at 91 cents.

z, The September conference was in NY. This conference is in Boston.
Some similar companies are presenting, but the organization marketing the conference is different so the investors attending will be different.
Destiny is now able to show-off Clipstream G2. In September, it was only one video in an early prototype form.
IMO - the view about the near term revenue growth has changed.
Clipstream G2 is earning small revenue through Marketing research companies.
New Play MPE revenues may be showing up soon as announcements start to accumulate into new business. The new two-year contract with Universal is a big deal for serious investors looking at Destiny.
TZYM is merging with Ocera. Too confusing to invest in with only phase 2 pipeline products.
Destiny is much better right now.
Good to hear your other trades are winners too.
I have been trading WRLS very short-term. I just missed the buyout this morning since I sold 2k shares on Friday. Drats.
brooklyn, didn't you commit to sell 25% on the last dip before this run?
Post 2756:
'I'm now looking to sell 25% of my holdings at a meager profit of about 10%.'
Please let the positive vibe continue.
Apple bought Authentec last year which specializes in fingerprint id technology and Near-Field Communications.
Last year, Authentec also owned an embedded security solutions division which Apple decided to sell to a French Company - Inside Secure in the fall for $48 Million.
http://www.macrumors.com/2012/11/19/authentec-sells-off-embedded-security-systems-leaving-fingerprint-technology-for-apple/
Apple must have other choices for embedded security. Could it be using TCC software? I hope so. The ESS division did not have the save solution as TCC anyway. TCC has Key Management software for encrypted communications in wireless and optical networks.
Does anyone know who the OEMs might be?
I found this statement in the Quarterly Report.
'By the middle of fiscal 2013, the Company anticipates the development of three new products and expects to reorient its development investment toward collaborative product developments with major original equipment manufacturers (“OEMs”). Initial work began in 2012 to establish these technical partnerships and we expect that full-scale development will begin in mid-2013. The resulting products will be imbedded proprietary encryption solutions which will significantly enhance the value of the OEMs’ products and allow TCC encryption to be carried to the market by major equipment providers.'
The 3rd fiscal quarter started April 1st.
TCC's encryption communication hardware video is on Youtube now. Uploaded last week.
brooklyn, Please don't take my comment personally.
I respect your investing insight, just not the constant public flogging about Destiny which is unwarranted.
If you want to e-mail me at doughmaker@ymail.com - I will give you a nice juicy steak to chew on (I mean stock). I just do not want to give it out on the board for ANYBODY to see.
Destiny announces infrastructure upgrades to PlayMPE portal.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/play-mpe-secure-digital-media-130000519.html
Not a blockbuster news item.
There are two solutions to your problem.
(1) Sell your stock and find another company that is able to develop innovative solutions on a firm timeline.
or
(2) Roll-up your sleeves and start promoting Destiny and Clipstream G2 on your own dime and time to everyone in New York so that people know about Destiny before the Destiny marketing starts rolling.
PS - your constant complaining about Destiny management hinders the second option, while you refuse to take the first option. Therefore, you are causing yourself, Destiny, and all other investors grief when you moan everywhere.
brooklyn, you complain about Destiny management - but you can't even operate the Submit Post button on IHUB without causing duplicates and triplicates. I don't believe your double posts are intentional - just an ADHD investor who can't wait for his slow connection to respond to his need for instant gratification.
Clipstream G2 is not ready for Netflix yet. The bandwidth issue is still not fully resolved.
Netflix needs their alternative option in 8 years. Clipstream G2 may be an option. Destiny has 5+ years to improve Clipstream G2 over any other choices.
Destiny has a head start on the competition as well as the patents to protect their position. I would guess that Adobe might develop a competing platform, and the browser standards may change as well.
This proves that the video format issue is a mess, with no standard solution.
Very funny. 'it's just frustrating to be so involved in a company'....
How are you involved excluding your time spent here - which is a message board that has nothing to do with the company?
If your investment is your involvement, then you can cure your frustration rather easily by moving your investment.
It is that simple.
There is opportunity everywhere at every level.
When a stock has not climbed in a bull-run, then its relative value is cheap compared to everything else. So it should be on your buy list rather than your complain list.
So you bought ACAD. Good choice, I guess.
Maybe you know what you are doing, or maybe you have Parkinson's - which motivated you to buy ACAD. Unless you post your whole portfolio here, this discussion is worthless.
Ignore the pin pricks if you can.
If you do not like Destiny - sell your shares and move on to ACAD.
2nd Quarter Results are released today.
Net profit 6.5 cents beats the 5 cent profit a year ago.
Best Revenue Quarter in company history. Training classes are increasing. New Software releases will be complete soon (April 2013). Membrane Plus module is still under development, to be complete later this year. Cash is accumulating again. 3rd Quarter is looking strong.

A bid can be higher than the ask if one of the trades has the 'all or none' condition on the trade, or a 'minimum qty' on a trade.
Traders do not want to sell small quantities of shares where the cost of the fees effect the per share cost.
In Schwab, the all or none and minimum qty options are hidden, but I do have them to use.
traders can use these options to test the market by moving the (bid/ask) up or down with risking a small transaction.
The Aereo solution is a different issue than a DVR ad issue like Hopper.
Aereo has developed a 'miniture' antenna (less than 1 inch) which they rent out to customers where each customer controls their own antenna / receiver located at Aereo's offices. Aereo's server rooms are filled with racks and racks of independent antenna's that they allow customers to use. As a result, Aereo is doing something similar to Slingbox for any free airwave broadcast. It allows them to convert the signal received into an internet form which is then sent to each customer who controls their antenna and channel.
This way they are acting as an antenna service while they get around the cost that cable companies pay to the networks to re-broadcast the station's content.
If the cable companies decide to use Aereo for those channels, the networks will lose all the money that cable companies pay them for the content. It is a sticky problem.
The cable only networks don't have this problem. So the public networks might try to find ways to make their customers pay for content rather than let Aereo make money off of them without any form of payment.
If Clipstream G2 can be secured to the customer account or customer device, then the networks could by-pass Aereo to deliver content to customer's mobile devices for a monthly revenue stream.
The article talks about Hopper too, but the issues are very different.
