Yes but it speaks to Snapers brilliance and breadth of understanding of the potential applications.
Just remember NOBODY will be able to produce the volume of diamonds CTDT can in close to the same time frame or close to the same price point.
Snaper understands all of this. He talked about the importance of doing diamonds with impurities. That is why the measuring system was so crucial. He needed them to able to dictate the quality of the carbon contents as well as the heat and pressure based on what they wanted to produce. To be honest I did not fully understand it. I just assumed the more pure the better. This makes sense and is pretty exciting. Yes it is a long play but potentially a life changing long play. I have always seen it that way. That is why I get frustrated watching people flipping the stock selling into the bid or just looking for a quick profit. Yes you can make some money that way but the true value here is the future value as the patents potential begins to be realized.GLTA
This is why I feel confident in a $50.00 pps once this is proven and the world knows about it. 100,000 x faster just cannot be ignored. Technological advances just have to have it. And once they do it will become just as common as silicon chips did. I believe the patent is that valuable (actually more but I think is where bidding averages).
Seriously - if they are building out and setting up for production they should be showing that. Build up the interest and exposure. Time to be secretive is over.
Nail meet hammer!
Yes but it is a buyers market right now. Just as Pony said until the company starts putting worthwhile news out and not hints and promises this will not attract new buyers and some who are here are ok selling at .30 or .40 when they paid .01 to .10. PPS and stock movement is always a reflection of the company and what they have done for you lately. It is a shame that we have seen this stock move up and show momentum several times based on the hints and promises only to drop back down because management does not follow through in a timely manner. It is very frustrating. With this technology it should be easier than they are making it. It is like someone handed you a check worth millions and all you had to do was go across town to deposit it. But instead of taking the freeway you take back roads and keep getting lost, turned around or traffic jammed. Instead of asking an expert how to get there you keep trying to figure it out yourself. You also stop for doughnuts, gas and dry cleaning on the way. You know that as soon as you deposit the money it is yours to spend. But you just seem to find every imaginable way possible not to get to the bank. That is CTDT management for the last 7 years. They are getting there. I think they are probably only a block away now but holy smokes it is mind boggling.
If they legitimately have revenues in a few weeks this thing could hit 5 per share in a flash. It can't get any better than showing the world this technology works by producing and selling the product. I can't imagine a scenario where that won't just set this thing off. Given the low float and the buying frenzy to get in this could be really fun to watch.
I agree on the pics. Not sure why they are being so secretive. They have a lot of good things to put out there without giving up everything. I certainly hope they are more forthcoming once they begin with the intial PR's. This tech is exciting and it is a shame to not share it.
This company has already made a millionaire or two and it is going to make a lot more millionaires as it progresses. Congrats to those who are there or who are close. It is just brutal watching how difficult they make things though.
That is interesting because the DTC falls under the Federal Reserve Bank and the Federal Reserve Bank operates as an independent agency. In other words they do not need administrative or legislative approval because they do not receive appropriated funds. I am thinking they changed it because they wanted to change it and nobody in the company bothered to check on the process before financials were done. Water under the bridge and that is encouraging news but for once I would really appreciate someone in this company taking responsibility for their actions instead of constantly blaming others. It was LT and then it was Lauzon and then it was auditors, etc. etc. They need to learn how to get out ahead of these things and push the process rather than letting it come to them.
Trader - if he shared with you as a shareholder then you should be able to share it on the board. Otherwise he should not share it. Perhaps you can share it with edits.
Billiam I do believe they are working to move this forward. Unfortunately they have never had a hands on manager getting things done or motivating others to get things done in a timely manner. While Chas is doing the right things he is obviously not a hands on manager. They need someone there who has the responsibility for execution within a set schedule. They need to fix this and fix it quickly. To spend a year getting financials caught up only to file late the very next filing is beyond bad. A good manager would have been on top of that and kicking down doors to make sure it was done. That is what they need.
He was odd but he acted with a sense of urgency. It was like he took it personally if the company fell behind in filings. How refreshing!
Well at least the ask is ask is back in the .60's. That won't last without news though.
I agree and think we all are. It seems they put out just enough to keep everyone from total mutiny. Then slow walk everything until everyone is up in arms again. Then release next piece to pacify the masses. Rinse and repeat. Sad thing is every time there is momentum it is the company's lack of follow through that kills it. Honestly if I did not know the technology was absolutely amazing I would have walked a long time ago. Once they roll out they really need to do something special for shareholders who have held for so long without dragging through SEC complaints and litigation. Every shareholder here should be nominated for sainthood on patience alone.
Well to be fair the board did nothing while he got the company behind. He has been gone for over a year now as well. It does not excuse what he did but he should not be used as the excuse for this mess at this point.
That why I was flabbergasted that they just seemed to think it would vanish once financials were done. They needed to have made phone calls and found out the proper procedures and key contacts well ahead of financials being finished. It looks more like they did the financials and then started calling. Not planned very well at all.
The good news for you is they set a really low bar. Anything you do will be an improvement and we will all think you are a god.
yes it is - congrats Naval - looking forward to your reports. The website is looking better and has a lot more useful information on it. I am sure it is still in progress but it is good to see.
You are right again VC - I had not looked at that page. That is pretty sad. Investors will not take this seriously with that kind of presentation.
Exactly VC - that is my one issue with things here. This lackadaisical attitude they seem to have about important matters. For all LT's oddities he fought hell and everything in between to make sure this company met its obligations.
No - but a good company also recognizes that pps is a direct reflection on company results, perception and communications. In other words if PPS is stagnate or dropping then the company is failing in some capacity.
Yep - I find if disturbing that Chas told you they had an extension for filing the latest Q report but it would be OK anyway because he had the completed report on his desk. Yet here we are without a filing. I don't know what DTC requirements are but being late on your first report after getting things current does not present good optics and frankly I find irresponsible at best. If there is too much work for Chas to handle then bring in help. I can only come up with two options as to why the filings are not done - option 1 is they just did not prioritize it (translation Chas has other things in is life more important than staying on top of CTDT) or - option 2 is they don't have the filing money. Neither one of those are good options. Instead of hearing what they have planned I would love to hear an honest reply about the resources of time and money and how they are impacting operations.
Someone is desperate to sell.
Is that a premonition.
Snaper's wife is a pilot. She used to teach flying and also do a lot of flying competitions/races. At one point they owned a plane. If CTDT takes off maybe they will buy another one.
I would love to work with them. This tech is amazing.
The caption could be "this is my CTDT stock dividend" a 100% real diamond made in less than an 800th of a second in one of the first runs for their new technological breakthrough".
What a great way to announce and prove proof of concept. THAT would gain attention in the marketplace. Can you see pictures of shareholders showing off their diamonds on social media.
He has mentioned that he has PR's ready to go once chill is lifted. I hope he does but only if they have some substance to them. I feel like he should have some concrete news but can't be certain. Waiting is hard. I think every current shareholder should get one of the first diamonds produced just as a reward for our patience. HA - a carat for every year we have held. LOL
Not enough buying pressure. Last week was mainly people from this board adding more shares. I assume most of them are tapped out for now. We won't get enough buying pressure until the company begins to PR some news. I know some here liked the PR from a few weeks ago. The problem is it was more promises ie. the chill will be removed. I am confident it will be but I was already confident it was going to be removed anyway. PR's will only gain traction when stating positives that have happened - not that will happen. They need to announce things like the chill is removed, the company is uplisted, production scheduled to begin on ..., License agreement signed, first revenues generated, Funding secured, joint venture announced, etc. etc. They also need to be stand alone news pieces so the news is the news and not vying for attention with other pieces of information.
These types of PR's get attention and build confidence. Based on the company's history saying something is going to happen sometime soon is just feeding into the same pattern most here have seen for several years and will not move many people who are already skeptical.
Yep - no doubt. I have no idea why someone would sell at .25 but buying at .25 and reselling at .69 is a nice quick profit. Just think - whoever the knuckle head is that sold at .25 could have been the one selling in the .60's. Puzzling move by someone.
Chas has said for some time now that they had or were going to sign a distribution agreement with a major diamond supplier. This makes sense although I have know idea why they would not put out a PR to confirm it. Perhaps they want to have some other things in place before announcing.
Hey Q - The CEO and one of the board members have put in over 400,000. That has allowed them to finish R&D including solving the measurement problem which was the one thing keeping them from going mass production. I have been told they don't need help with funding so I think they have something in the works. They were delayed for a long time because they hired Brian Lauzon (A high level international marketer from Mars candy) to run the company. He took over from Chas and then performed poorly. He failed to keep the company current on financials and filings. The Board terminated forced him to resign and Chas to back over. He has gotten them current but it took a while. They are working on new office space in Vegas and ramping up to start production. I am confident in the company's direction now. Chas has consistently done what he has said he was going to do. A little slower than we would like some times but he has never failed to follow through.
7 to 10 years however it is really hard to say without knowing company plans. If they start production and prove the efficiency and margins right away that speeds things up. Also if they really do sign a license agreement with a chip manufacturer and they begin testing and things look promising that will also speed things up. If CTDT management plays this right they could actually have a bidding war for the tech. Their are a lot of companies that would benefit from controlling these patents.
The potential applications with the proven process are endless. Glass companies could look to produce diamond screens (they are already looking at graphene screens that are bendable and extremely light). It makes true 3d applications more viable. The defense industry will have interest in it. Medical technology companies and transportation will have interest. Robotics and nanotechnology. It can spawn new industries and vastly improve existing industries and technologies. Diamonds and chips are just the beginning in my opinion. I bought into this stock based on the vast potential the technology has to change everything we do. I am looking forward to watching the impact it has on things around us. All of this is my opinion of course but we have known for decades the power that diamond has to revolutionize things - it was just too expensive. Bringing the price point down to a raw material level has major significance. It will open up new research avenues for all kinds of products, existing and not yet discovered. Personally I will not part with more than 20% of my shares for a long time because the power of the patent will only increase with time.
I think you are right on the shares as long as some start selling off a little once this gets a little higher. If people hold for a while it is pretty tight. Of course I have no idea what the funding will look like in terms of structure. That could impact things.
Yep - so to see volume up is a good sign. Either everyone here is loading more or we are bringing in some new investors. Still smaller investors but it could mean word is starting to get out. I am meeting with someone Sunday who has a lot of high roller friends. I will let him know about CTDT. He may do nothing but if he wanted to he could bring in a lot of new people.
Volume has been creeping up last few days. That is a good sign. Hopefully there are a lot of people on the sidelines just waiting to confirm the chill is going away.
VC - great minds think a like. I just hope people really understand the amazing opportunity this is. It has the potential to be Silicon valley's second act.
