Wook, I'm pretty confident that Accelerated Approval is quite different from Fast Track and Orphan Drug status. I believe it's much more in Peregrine's interest that they be granted AA. Thurley, Mojojojo, or FTM can probably shed more light on this.
M
Come on Geo, do you really think that PPHM could have been a scam at some point?
Chey,
I and others asked this very question at the annual stockholder meeting back in 2006. King stated he felt that his options were enough to say he was invested, and wouldn't commit to buying stock directly. I sure wish he would come to understand that owning options is not enough.
M :)
Congrats EZ, and good luck to you....
M :)
Frustrated, King doesn't get paid as a board member of PPHM.....
MM :)
Jessme, did you know that Peregrine once had a partnership with Oxigene? This was back when Peregrine was Techniclone, early 2000's.
"Nuedexta is Avanir’s only drug, either approved or in development."
Not true, I guess the author is unaware of the Avanir approved drug Abreva.
Mark :)
Hi EzLibra, just received your PM from Feb 11th. Thanks for the response. No, I've only attended one annual meeting, in 2005 or 2006. I plan on attending this year though.
Mark :)
BioChica, I'll take that one as well.....
Another WAG, if BAVI PII-B has great data and results, Dr. Garnick joins PPHM full-time as COB.....
Mark :)
My WAG, FDA approval with no PIII by June 2012 at the latest, 90%. Hope I'm right!!
Mark :)
I believe that you need to also include the other board members, Carlton and Pohl, and also Paul Lytle. I believe these individuals have significant shares (> 20,000).
Mark :)
EZLibra, can you provide a link to the pdf???
Thanks!
"Bavi works on all solid tumors and we'll see 3-4 splits and 100 each time with ease...."
How long do you think it will take for these splits to occur at 100??
Thanks.
Mark :)
Hey Katie, good to see you back, if only for a minute!! A lot has happened during the past year. You should read CJGaddy's post #59168. With four Phase II trials in oncology and 1 Phase II HCV trial underway, I'm cautiously optimistic that PPHM is finally going in a positive direction that will ultimately benefit us shareholders...
Hope you're doing well and having a great New Year so far!!
Mark :)
Hy SpankVol, I suppose you also think those numbers are possible, or you wouldn't be here after 6 years!! I've been here 10 years myself, and I can honestly say that I like the direction we're going in so far. I'm optimistic but cautious.
Time will tell.,..
M :)
"Mgmt is playing it smart by combining it with other drugs for now.. "
Vol, I agree with you on every point. I think people on this board have and still do under estimate management. I believe King and company know what they are doing and are conducting trials in indications with a possible high degree of success. I'm very pleased with the direction King and management have been taking us, and I strongly believe that this will be our breakout year. Again, time will tell.
M :)
"Let's not get carried away with share prices, folks...
this drug enhances others' effectiveness...doesn't necessarily set the world on fire by itself..."
Neither does Avastin Abe, but look what it did for Genentech / Roache!!
M :)
Vol, do you think it has more potential than Avastin? I think it does, but we shall see soon....
A quote from the "HIV Cure" article posted by wxcbs:
"I would call this a functional cure," Fischl was quoted as saying. "It's on the level and a very remarkable case. But would we do this with an HIV patient? No."
I wonder if CJ would consider saving it as a "sticky note" for entertainment purposes?
Mark :)
The following is a Motely Fool commentary by a poster that discusses why he / she is following Mr. Dart into a trade of SPPI.

Hello all,
The following post came from Terry D. on the Silicon Investor site. It looks like Medibiotech is projecting revenue from sales of Vivatuxin in 2011-2013. Does this mean that we should see revenue from our agreement with Cancer Therapeutics (Epstein)?
M :)

I just noticed this from the link on Medibiotech.

"$6.50 Monday!"
Is that on open or close??
M :)
Congress can vote not to fund ObamaCare, this doesn't have to be approved by the President either.
M :)
Gandalf120 is not lying, PPHM issued a press release shortly after the ASM, also it is published on the Peregrine website.
M :)
Hey Frustrated, just for the record, the lawsuit between PPHM and China was not tried by Carlton Johnson. PPHM hired outside counsel.
M :)
I would like to know why they decided to report earning after market. It doesn't sound like good news is coming.....
I think that Joseph Shan earned his increase, much justified.
Like I said, I wasn't JUST referring to you. I often feel that some posters on this board try to distort the facts. If you want to include yourself in this group, then that's okay with me....
I really wasn't referring to just you Jessme. But since you asked, when someone reads the following statement;
"Didn't someone post we're presenting Phase I data AGAIN for the 3rd time on Cotara? "
It gives the impression that you"re suggesting the same data is being presented, notice you capitalized the word "AGAIN". The statement may mislead readers into thinking PPHM is presenting the same data as in prior years. If this isn't your intention, then why even post the question?
Just thought I'd ask....
Many thanks for the reply CJ!! Sometimes I wonder if distortion of the facts are intentional by some of the posters here.
M :)
Jessme,
Your response still does not provide proof that PPHM is presenting the same data from the same "prior" phase I at ASCO for the third time. Please provide proof that this is the case.
Thanks,
M
I thought SK delivered a great presentation!!
M :)
It looks like some ATM shares were sold, previous shares outstanding were 49,151. Currently, outstanding shares now at 51,446.
M :)
Thanks Azure, I just know he was a big proponent and solid believer of the technology. I sure hope he still has an "interest" in the company. Hang in there longs!!
M :)
Azure,
Do you know if Ed Legere is still invested in PPHM???
TIA,
M :)
Azure, I believe Swartz is already past 1% ownership, 49,151,000 outstanding * .01 is 491,510. I think he owns 600,000+. I may be wrong though.
M :)
"BTW, has anyone ever found out just what the hell a "signal seeking" trial is?"
At this point don't care and really doesn't matter imho. What matters now is for Peregrine to build value and get the PPS up to $20+.
Mark :)
To be fair Moby, it appears that Dr. Garnick's website hasn't been updated since March, 2009.....
Mark :)
