Thank you for posting, very interesting points you brought up that made sense as how and why things are developing the way they are. You mentioned how some (other hotels) are not too keen to have Marriotts' in their (Tivus) staff - could be a main reason why the Marriotts are not part of Tivus anymore. You mentioned they earn bonus points for starting with Philly Marriott - major credit goes to the Marriotts who used to work for Tivus. You also mentioned most companies are not used to dealing with a young start-up and not sure if they will be around to support you when/if issues appear - now we know why Host is very careful and in no rush to reply with a signed contract (i.e 60-90 days).
Overall we are very lucky to be in Philly Marriott and Tivus must be real good to be offered the opportunity.
There is your dilution right there. If you track this stock long enough, you will know when dilution hits without having to check with TA.
This is not dilution, guys see other stocks moving and got frustrated. 20 million shares ain't that much.
No, I can't blame all on management, maybe it is just bad luck. I realize we can't rush Host, the previous news releases where we get any type of excitement stock gets dumped, the last runup due to radio interview and understanding that credit holders will back off - something else comes up. There is always something. I sure miss the good ole days, like about 2 weeks ago?
If there is one company that is the best at killing momentum, Tivu is it!

Got your message. I'm more or less in the same situation as you, I hold a position that I am comfortable with and if price appreciates to the pennies I will be in good shape. I am presntly considering if to add and how much when news hits (to go all in or not). Thanks for sharing.

What is so great about this partnership between Tivu's business model and Host's list of properties is the the targeted audience for advertisers. The audience are the people that can afford to spend. The list of companies, from luxury goods to airlines, will have an audience that is so demographically targeted for their products. Advertising agencies, ad buyers, and hotel gm/owners can see that.
I wish Waggett can give us more info as to what was covered in that meeting in NY.
JWEZ/WAGGET - I believe Tivu can take 2 reps to the GM Host meeting, any chance Shiva is going with one of you guys:) How receptive these GMs to Tivu will dictate the future.
i like that theory. when information is slow to come it is as good as any out there. from my limited experience in pinkies, we are getting quite a bit of info, thanks to our 2 shareholders/sleuths.
when I read that Steve left, and if in bad terms, my first thought was i hope he doesn't do anything to sabotage this.
one thing i would like to see if host decide to use tivu in a large scale is to see shiva hand the ceo duties to a seasoned veteran, no way fund managers would stand for this. but for now, i'm betting on shiva's technology, just what Philly Marriott is doing!
we have no numbers that is why shareholders are going with shiva's. the doubters, there are many of them, do not trust shiva's numbers but the share price reflects that already. at some point we will know but by then the share price will not be where we are now. Risk/Reward!
for now, that is all we have. i am long based on that, i'll know very soon. if you reach a point where you cannot trust the guy then you know what to do.
you can't compare roomlinx, they may be in the same industry but the business model is totally different. roomlinx had $5mil in revenue the last 12 months (from yahoo finance) based on approx 30,000 rooms. based on shiva's revenue model,it is way way more than $5 mil.
I don't know about getting along, its only been a week since info came out about the gm meeting and the radio interview, there may still be another couple months before we hear anything on contract. I don't see how some of the posters can hold up. By the time its all said and done, one wonders what the body count will be.

You are absolutely right, everybody uses technicals these days and trade off the same patterns/indicators. I don't use it much but it is there for one to observe, nobody is forcing anybody to use it, just an observation. Need to move on, glty.
We are not comparing companies, what I am showing is about a particular trading pattern and that is all it is. You don't have to like it, believe in it or follow it, but it is there for one to see...it's a pattern on human emotions, like it or not. Let's talk about multiple pennies shall we?

I like this afterhours crowd. What we need now is to set a higher low...Like it or not, we do need these pumpers and momo traders, for this thing to move at warp speed towards our target we need the big volume that they bring in, especially the long term holders who hold multi-millions of shares will appreciate them as they decide to lighten their positions as we set higher highs.
if we get a consolidation day the chart will look very nice, still an ugly day thou. now if look at a weekly chart you will be asking what the fuss is all about?
What was the reason behind the move? Did they have similar potential at the beginning of the run and were people talking of holding for the long haul?
I noticed the sharp up and down at the beginning of the move.
Just had time to go through a few posts here and noticed some folks sweating over their 1 mil share investment, if only these folks realize how much some hold here and how long we have been holding. Please, take time and look at the fundamentals, there will be wild swings don't forget we've gone from .0001 to .0027 (27 bagger!!). They don't go straight up! We base or start a new leg tomorrow.
Painful and frustrating but to be expected. A lot of folks have been 'stuck' and have written this off, any chance they get they will get out no matter what. See it as the second wave of a 5 wave bull move.
We need new money and this will help a lot for our next leg up, a major leg.

Took a look at the press release and it does not say they will have 60,000 rooms added. Like some of these news, it can be a bit vague. It does say that they have a master service agreement with an affiliate of Hyatt. Does not say they will be exclusive and also mentions 'participating' Hyatt hotels - we don't know which ones for sure - quite broad. My understanding with Tivus is that they will announce the actual properties as they sign up.
Another I noticed, from Yahoo finance, it mentions the revenues (ttm) for the 30,000 rooms was about $5.8mil, using Shivas $3.5 figure, with 30,000 rooms the revenue will be much, much higher.
If I'm a GM of a Hyatt property, I will surely look into Tivu's model.
