I don't think anything is in progress, do you?
706 was towed into the hanger for the C-Check 5 months ago. You'd like us to believe everything is right on schedule? 5 months and it's still not done? At this rate, the D-Check will take 2 years...
When was this timeline presented to the shareholders? Was it discussed at the recent meeting? Was it a secret? Tonight was the first I heard about a D-Check here. Why do we have to rely on orvie to tell us what's going to happen with 706? You say nothing has changed in the timeline - therefore you knew about this?
How does Baltia intend to pay for the D-Check?
I think that’s worse than terrible news for Baltia. 706 didn’t even finish the C-Check, and now it needs a D-Check...beginning in May? That’ll take 6 months to complete...and millions of dollars. They won’t be flying until 2015, now...if ever. How does Baltia plan to pay all of their new employees for another year? To do nothing. Don’t try to tell me they didn’t know this was going to happen at the stockholder’s meeting. They are slime!!!
Face it - Baltia is through! Done!! Finished!!!
This of course is just my opinion...
Waste of time - nothing was said of any importance.
So what was the outcome of the big meeting?
Spent an hour and a half, talking about what? Answering what questions? Trying to sell more shares of their stock? Any real news come out? I recall a prediction of a lot of valuable information being provided at this meeting. So far, I haven’t seen anything posted here...maybe it’s a secret (heh, heh)...
I sincerely doubt that 706BL will be allowed to fly over Manhattan. The last time a 747 flew over Manhattan for a photo op, it caused a whole lot of problems - and that flight was by a VC-25 and was approved by the White House Military Office. No one in their right mind would approve a flyover for the sole purpose of being a commercial publicity stunt...Baltia who?
Where is the source for the "The FAA spent millions on Baltia..." claim?
Which claim is that? This one? “I don’t believe Baltia will EVER obtain certification...” Obviously an opinion.
Or this one? “...this scam outfit known as Baltia…who will NEVER succeed - IMHO…” Again, obviously an opinion.
I didn’t realize that one was required to include evidence within every post made on this board. Perhaps you could go back and post a link showing evidence within the 19 consecutive posts you made back on 10/21 which started with “FACT:“ I don’t believe any of them - prove it!
How would you know that? Where is the source for the "This is an incorrect statement:" claim?
I don’t believe Baltia will EVER obtain certification from the FAA (now you know somebody). The FAA cannot screen applicants by whether they BELIEVE they will or not succeed. Unfortunately, the FAA has wasted hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on this scam outfit known as Baltia…who will NEVER succeed - IMHO…
??? - nice 28 page report there...follow the simple instructions provided by the linked page...
All non-essential government employees were directed to report to their offices this morning, complete their electronic time reports, shut down their offices and go home. I can’t imagine ANY government employees considered more non-essential than the FAA team assigned to the Baltia fiasco – what a waste of taxpayer dollars…IMHO…
Baltia Ground Transportation...
...maybe Baltia is going to drive passengers to Russia...
"...and when I am right..."
Unfortunately, when you are proven wrong and Baltia goes belly up, and this forum shuts like a steel trap, we will never be able to publicly tell you, "WE TOLD YOU SO!!!"
...and that makes me sad...
Even the faithful have been quiet of late...maybe they're on vacation...somewhere in Europe...
Nothing misleading about that one...
The training cannot start until the manuals are approved. The training is on the manuals. I haven't heard anything (from a reliable source) about the manuals being approved. If they had been approved, I'm sure Baltia would have been bragging about it -so they could sell some more stock. Despite all the talk about being at an advanced stage in the certification process, they are exactly where they were over 3 years ago...nowhere...
No need to apologize, Anthony. Thank you for serving our country.
Didn't Baltia submit their manuals for approval 3 years ago? Wasn't that the reason they pulled out of NY and went to Michigan - because they couldn't get the manuals approved by the NY office and thought they could get the manuals approved in Michigan a lot faster? I could be wrong - it could be longer than 3 years ago. Isn't Phase 2 where the manuals get approved? Maybe I'm missing something on the FAA site. Maybe there is something on the FAA site that says the manuals get approved during Phase 1...maybe I wasn't paying attention...nahhhhhh - I didn't miss a thing - manual approval is a Phase 2 task.
Baltia is still waiting for manual approval...just like they were 3 years ago...didn't I already say that?
Now we can wait for manual approval - same place we were 3 years ago.
Why did you change the words in the letter? Your version:
“This letter is to inform Baltia Air Lines (BLTA)...”
“The CPT has determined that BLTA...”
Their version:
“This letter is to inform Baltia Airlines (BTIA)...”
“The CPT has determined that BTIA...”
Some people here assumed since you posted it, it must be accurate. It’s not - it represents a conscious effort to deceive. Never saw a cut & paste change spelling in a word before... Your version does make more sense - unless BTIA is another airline. Why not let us be the judge of that?
I understand the situation. I am familiar with FAA requirements. Does the link you posted say the manuals are approved? Don't you think it would say that if the manuals were approved? Do you think your link says the manuals have been approved? Your link doesn't say the manuals have been approved, does it? Therefore, the manuals haven't been approved.
Go read the FAA site information again.
It's amazing how they all seem to KNOW things have happened, when they actually haven't.
Is that another way of saying bad to the bone?
I was referring to your link - it doesn't say the manuals are approved. Why should I have to do extensive DD on the FAA site?
Doesn't say the manuals are approved...
The comments were made on 1/2/13.
Welcome to Baltia...
...abandon all hope, ye who enter here...
I think YOU better go back and read the letter again. The letter is Baltia 'talk'. The FAA did not commit to allocating resources - where does it say that in the letter? The only thing the FAA agreed to was to have a pre-application briefing on 1/23. That is not the formal application meeting - that can't happen until after the briefing...and then, after the briefing, it may never happen!
The Baltia response letter negates nothing - it is simply a regurgitation of what they have been saying all along - we’re doing great, we’re moving along, we are getting close, and blah, blah, blah.
I didn’t see anything on regulations.gov which indicates that the DOT has bought any of the Baltia drivel, or that the FAA is doing ANYTHING. All I see is that Baltia has back stepped, has submitted a new application, and is beginning the certification process all over again.
All of this good news and excitement here certainly didn’t do much for the pps or the volume today, especially since people keep telling us that they are jumping all over these bargain basement share prices. Why is that?
In my opinion, we can expect at least another 3 years of the same nonsense, before the FAA finally pulls the plug on Baltia and saves us all a lot of tax dollars..
Now I’m sure somebody will come back and tell us that we can expect FAA approval by noon tomorrow, or something equally absurd. Don't believe any of the hype - don't believe any of the "I know something you don't know" lies - if it's not on regulations.gov, don't believe a word of it.
I’ll check back in 3 years and see how everybody is doing - good luck at the circus!!!
I'm not assuming anything - I know that when people state that certain actions were taken and responses were received, but are unable to say when, how, and provide a link, I'm not falling for it.
No more than I believe that good things are going to happen soon, and Baltia will start flying the first quarter of this year, I heard from a friend, and so forth. I've been reading that crap here for years - all I want to read about is truth, not fairy tales. Wishful thinking isn't doing anybody any good - it certainly hasn't been making the pps go up...although some here will disagree with that...
No you didn't - no relevant facts have been presented here - only rumor. "I assumed they must have sent something in", and "I called Baltia and was told something" does not constitute fact - relevant or otherwise. Several people stated that Baltia answered the DOT letter, but nobody has been able to say when that actually occurred, or what the letter actually said. Therefore I believe none of it, and neither should anyone else. Due diligence does not mean calling Baltia and being lied to - I can get plenty of that here.
By the way...I know something you don't know...
Then you could share this wealth of information you possess with the rest of us! You will share it with us, won't you?
I don't think Shea Stadium is there anymore - so much for DUE DILIGENCE - ha, ha, ha, ha, haaaaa!!!!
Did the company disclose information to you regarding communications with the DOT via telephone?
"And ImO I am sure they will be right in the results of their review of the recently submitted materials."
What recently submitted materials?
"YES - READ IT AND YOU WILL LEARN that Baltia was asked to confirm its progress and status to the DOT, and Baltia has done just that."
How do you know that?
The pps increase in the last month is truly impressive - it has gone from sub penny to a little less than 0.02. I don’t really consider that an accomplishment...most would agree. This stock went flat-line at 0.02 back in June of last year. Other than a couple of small paint jobs, it has never gone above 0.02. Then, in November, it fell off the cliff and has been vacillating between 0.02 and 0.01 ever since. I don’t think too many shareholders are excited over the fact that the stock is no longer sub-penny - especially those who bought in at 0.05 or higher...and all the talk in the world isn’t going to bring it back up to what is was. I’m glad you’re pleased at the recent increase in pps...I’ll check back in a couple of years and see if you’re still happy.
Yeah, that pps sure is rising...
...wait a minute...
In the last day it rose -2.70%
In the last 3 months it rose -33.33%
In the last year it rose -50.00%
In the last 5 years it rose -71.43%
...I guess you could say it’s rising...
