The website is not terrible. Agreed, there is room for improvement. Disagree you could make a better one. The top banner is very creative, although it can be difficult to notice. It's the content of the website you should be focusing on.
The websites are also a small part of what IC Places is now doing. They originally started with the website being the primary focus, it has since evolved into more of a production company.
What the websites did is give them exposure and a growing fan base. It also is a network already in place ready to be implemented any way they should desire.
Ann1, this is true. Steve has said he is waiting for ClearVision to announce the first airports before he releases a PR. The small group who heard the STT Radio interview are already in the know. :)

"Big day at IC Places. Meetings at Warner Brothers Studios in a half hour then the Red carpet and Up-Fronts for Punch TV tonight. I love the story of this TV network. It is what we aspire to. Growing from a few million homes to 53 million in two years is a true success story. We are so honored to have two of our shows on this network!
Steve"
Badali, 100% agree, the catalyst which lands a company on the NASDAQ is revenue. We need somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-100 million annually or something like that. Once the ClearVision Airport TV project comes to fruition in all 260 airports, in a year or two, that alone will be around $50,000,000 if I'm remembering my facts right.
This doesn't include all the other revenue streams Steve has developed for us.
Its certainly reassuring to have the CEO of the company you're invested in acknowledge that one of his major goals is reaching the NASDAQ. He obviously shares the same ambition as his shareholders.
Now I don't want to give the impression that in 6 months we will be trading along side the big boys, we won't. This is at least 2-3 years down the road, there are several qualifications to meet.
That being said, Steve is taking us down the right path. He is regularly filing with the SEC despite not having a requirement too, and he is also keeping his shareholders up to date with the inner workings of the company. This is somebody who understands the importance of loyal shareholders and high interest in the stock. He has already said he doesn't want a lot of debt on the balance sheet, he would rather use shares as compensation, and I'm all for it.
Where is the link for this? I don't trust copy and pasted material on this board.
Thanks all. Guess there still are decent people in this world.
I'm one of them, and I still think we are. It's a company ran by a super smart and savvy dude with huge ambitions and a plan with how to get there..no brainer to me..
Why so quiet on the boards?
I know! Forgot to make a note... Anywho.. That's actually a good thing. People were freaking out because the RSI was so high. The fact that is has cooled off is perfect, it seems to create better comfortability for the investor. Momentum is not waning, look at MACD and ADX.
With that said, any stock can go down or up; as on any day it can rain or not rain. It takes MORE than just a chart to say what is going to happen within any realm of certainty. When you factor in the existing fundamentals in addition to the expected news this month, IE) the ClearVision deal, EZVip.com follow up episode and viewing party, Q1 2012 financials, etc.. you have a lot of reinforcing information to support the chart.
Combining the two is how to truly analyze a stock and/or company accurately.
For the chartist: bullish pennant pattern will complete formation at end of day today, on decreasing volume. TEXTBOOK. we should see an upper breakout and another crazy 5-10 trading sessions of daily 20-40% gains. I'm excited. :)
Hahaha, Ann1, I acknowledged it was possible! I just didn't want people to count on it and set themselves up for disappointment and panic selling! ;)
NEWS!?!?

Leading Sports Marketing Agency Partners With IC Places to Give Customers Direct Access to Book Athletes and Celebrities
IC Places Inc. (OTCQB: ICPA), IC Places, Inc. is pleased to announce it has formed a strategic partnership with AthletePromotions.com to offer www.icplaces.com visitors direct access to book top sports figures, retired athletes, TV celebrities, business speakers, comedians, chefs, musicians and more.
AthletePromotions.com is one of the leading athlete-booking agencies that assists corporations who want to secure popular sports figures for speaking engagements, store grand openings, trade shows, autograph signings, spokesperson campaigns, awards banquets and many more events.
Aside from appearance bookings, the company builds, markets and manages the official websites for many athletes. Their team of Internet experts help brand celebrities on the web, which leads to more paid appearances. Official websites allow fans to connect with their favorite athletes, especially with social media. It also gives fans a place to watch videos, learn about upcoming sports camps, read latest news about their favorite celebrities, join fan clubs and buy signed memorabilia.
AthletePromotions founder Ryan Totka has helped athletes such as Brady Anderson, Marcellus Wiley, Danny White, Dan Hampton, Dan Fouts, Pat Williams, Sam Fuld, Sheryl Swoopes, Ray Lankford, Gene Stallings, Spud Webb, Jay Buhner, Steve Garvey and others establish a successful presence on the Internet.
Ryan says, "Right after their playing career is a vital time to market these retired athletes on the Internet. Many still have a huge fan base and looking to capitalize on their success on the field. Many agents just care about their playing contracts, but we see the importance for off-the-field marketing, promotions and appearances. The partnership with IC Places will increase exposure for our clients resulting in additional bookings."
Under the agreement AthletePromotions.com will pay IC Places a percentage of each booking it generates. IC Places Sports sections will offer direct links to book athletes for corporate events. Business and Dining sections will offer the same for business speakers and chefs. IC Places will also use its editorial content to build referrals. When a story is written in www.icplaces.com that mentions a celebrity which Athlete Promotions works with, that person's name will link directly to their book page at www.AthletePromotions.com.
"The partnership turns each IC Places article into a potential revenue-generating vehicle without compromising the journalistic integrity of the story," said Steven Samblis, Chairman of IC Places, Inc. "In our sports section we have a loyal following of our Sports Editor Carson Ingle, who posts a new story each day. I feel we will find gold in our articles as posts turn into bookings. AthletePromotions and the recently announced EzVip.com partnerships are great examples of synergistic relationships that will increase revenues for all parties. These baby steps truly represent the hidden gems that we will continue to mine within our IC Places properties"

Clay, to be honest, I think the Q1's will solidify confidence in the company through a written plan of action as well as in-depth debriefings on the current deals and agreements. As far as the numbers on the financials, I still believe they will show over $1,000,000 in debt... Not a bad thing, necessarily, at all.
It's the Q2, Q3, Q4/2012 Annual which will show POSITIVE revenues, debt free, and an exploding company. Q1 2013 we get purchased for $200 million by some major production studio... Lol
Because for one, I trust and depend on legitimate, calculable, and confirmed, facts. What I do not trust and depend on are speculative opinions written by an uncredited, anonymous, stranger on a stock discussion forum on the Internet.
And for two, the shares are not restricted, and if they were, they have been eligible to be sold for awhile. The reason they are not sold, is because the insiders are working furiously and diligently on building a competing corporation in the world of new media/production/advertising & product placement.
Any other questions?
He told us flat out in an interview that he raised it not because IC Places, Inc. needed the money, but rather, "..you can't become a billion dollar company with 500,000,000 authorized shares.." I'm paraphrasing. But that's close to what he said.
And also you have not done the required amount of research. What you'll be pleased to know is that only 355,000,000 are outstanding, 60% of which is owned and held by insiders, which leaves approx 140,000,000 shares floating.
Well gentlemen, it looks like the requirements are a little stiffer. We won't see NASDAQ for 5+ years. Though you might be right on the AMEX, though I didn't check.
See: http://www.nasdaq.com/about/nasdaq_listing_req_fees.pdf
This stock, I just may, even though I could really use the money now, buy a whole heck of a lot more shares and NOT touch them for years. I'll consider it part of my 401k. Haha.
Lol, that's quite the broad question, donchathink?
Steve is too smart to be 'caught in the honey pot' isn't he?
Ahhhh gotcha, misunderstood your point. Honestly, I'd love a surprise PR tomorrow to see a big gainer day before the weekend; however, what IS more likely, and you have a valid point, is that we should all expect a slightly red day tomorrow. We can expect this for several reasons: the consolidation period we are in, it IS still a penny and it IS a Friday, and traders DO close their positions for the weekend, typically. Hope not, but don't be shocked. It won't affect my opinion of ICPA either way.
Kind of, but not really. Moving averages, and all indicators for that matter, can give false signals. Did you see that it barely crossed before turning? No bueno.. What you want is a piercing cross that holds it's trajectory.
To me, that looks more like a pennant pattern, a bearish one, proven by the break BELOW and not ABOVE. Also, a chart doesn't mean much without the information to support it. Unless you're talking about intraday trading, then it's almost entirely charts with entry and exit points to plan and execute your trades, ie: day trading; but with a daily chart-no. INVESTORS use daily charts combined with fundamental analysis to plan and execute their trades.
Spade, it is ignorant people who have been writing posts claiming news tomorrow. It's either ignorant or wishful thinking aloud..
Us well informed folk have repeatedly posted that news isn't due until NEXT week; see:

"...THE FIRST 13 AIRPORTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CHOSEN THAT THE SHOWS ARE GOING TO RUN IN. WE'RE GONNA WAIT TIL NEXT WEEK TO GIVE OUT THOSE OFFICIAL NAMES. CLEARCHANNEL IS GOING TO DO A PRESS RELEASE NEXT WEEK TALKING ABOUT THE FIRST AIRPORTS THAT WE'RE GONNA BE IN, SO IM GOING TO HOLD OFF ON UNTIL THEY ISSUE IT, BUT THAT'S ALREADY A DONE DEAL. WE'RE ALREADY IN ALL 260 AIRPORTS, CLEARVISION HAS THE CONTRACTS ALREADY, WE'RE JUST EXPANDING THE CONTRACTS TO INCLUDE THE MONITORS AT THE GATES AS WELL, SO IT'S NOT LIKE THEY'RE GOING IN AND TRYING TO SELL EACH AIRPORT..."
Isn't that illegal? Well, I guess it depends on the content of the discussion.
I couldn't believe he actually responded to me... Lol
Agree. My plan: sell a small portion of my shares later this month at .25-.30, use it to furnish my freshly remodeled condo(rental). Then hold the rest, and in two years, BUY MY CONDO!
IC Places: 500 "Likes" on FB & counting..
AWESOME
gold star? a cookie? a high five? what cha looking for?
Don't expect news tomorrow. Look at my post about when to expect news..

That is basic technical analysis, I recommend googling "how to technical analysis stocks." Read up, learn how to use this. It's a pretty huge factor of trading and/or investing. Chartschool is a good site...
Exactly what sharklove said..
WHEN TO EXPECT NEWS:
Next week, MOST LIKELY, tomorrow IS POSSIBLE, though.

NICE CLAY! Very well made video, liked your first one too. I agree with your technical analysis, you also seem to know how to reach charts correctly, haha. I see too many people who talk about charts and indicators when they have no idea what they're talking about.
So we obviously won't know until tomorrow, I could see us skyrocket from the new launchpad in the area of 20%-30%, but I also see another possible day of consolidation.
As far as news, it COULD come tomorrow based on the recent trading activity and Steve may want to announce the PR now, to alleviate doubt in the stock. I wouldn't count on it because Steve already said in his interview he is waiting for ClearVision Airport TV to announce the deal first, which will be next week.
Look how strong we're holding the support! ..despite this ridiculous selling!
If it's worth over 3 cents, it's worth 20 cents plus...
ICPA - CHART - DAILY
REMEMBER GUYS! The fundamentals are still the same. No deal was cancelled, they are all still good to go! The "irons are in the fire!" According to IC Places on Facebook, (check the profile pic), this followed yesterdays photo of Jerry McGuire in the, "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!" scene.
RSI cooled off a little. Yay! The Bollinger Band breakout was corrected, and now we are trading between the EMA20 and the upper Bollinger Band, which is where we should be, AND BULLISH!
ADX in the 60's, indicative of a VERY STRONG trend, and obviously upward!
MACD still positive. BULLISH.
NOT TO MENTION, THE MA50 WILL CROSS ABOVE THE MA200 VERY SOON!!
From looking at this chart, you can obviously see, it is not a trend reversal, it is merely a correction/pull back/whatever you want to call it. These other indicators would have SELL signals if it was a trend reversal.
THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!
That is correct. Close enough anyway. I think it was, "you don't become a billion dollar company with 500 million shares." ANYWAY.. why are you worried about increasing O/S? Don't companies need to fund operations while in the beginning stages of development? The revenues from these deals are future or not significant enough yet to cover expenses..
This is old news...we've all known this for awhile. Figured you of all people would have known this. Anyways, it's not a concern, the fundamentals make the A/S and O/S make sense. Steve even talked about this in his interview...
Yeah, on the intraday chart, .044 shows resistance and there is support at .037.
I think today, doji possible, tomorrow, kaboom.
