like him or not, i think cory is one of the biggest reasons for the current popularity of MP...
i agree there are a bit too many "look at me" type tweets in there as well, but overall it looks to have a positive impact
it's all good bro... you're long, remember? ROFL
Groundhog day around here, time for some new tricks...
still haven't convinced me to sell.
just wondering, what's your angle? seems to be a miserable existence from my vantage point... but a little clarity could go a long way, right now it's pure sympathy on my part.
I just called TDA, they still show MSLP as under DTC Chill and WILL NOT allow trades of that security.
Sonnen is decked in MP, nothing on Silva..
we picked the winning fighter
Looks pretty par for the course if you asked me, unless you expected a full C.V. attached to the 8k.
Just looked up the 8k for Barnes n Noble which changed CFO's in March and you could cut/paste one for the other without much difference in content.
they're shareholders themselves, and apparently they care about themselves quite a bit... so
they ran out of ipads too, iphones, galaxy tabs, galaxy tab 7.7's, My lil pony Rainbowdash 1st edition, ps3...
the list goes on and on, new product (IF IT'S GOOD) runs out... because unless they've got a psychic lined up for the BOD, they couldn't know how well it'd sell
i see it as a good problem to have...
would you mind elaborating on the plan-o-grams? how often do they update them? etc
thx in advance man, the legwork some of you guys end up sharing on here is a true hook up.
Berlin exchange to facilitate trading for olympics push? is that too far a stretch?
they need to set one up in Indy and hop in bed with the NFL for the draft combine
yeah, apparently i hadn't re-subscribed to l2 quotes on my tda account since i hadn't touched it in about 8 months.
just checked and there indeed is a full roster of mm's
he posted 3 different brokerages he uses.
i just tried my TDA Marketrader platform and get nothing for L II for MSLP
i thought it was my etrade pro pms'ing...
Just called TDA, still chilled.
link please
i have to agree, was brutal to watch...
it was condit/diaz all over again, with even more running
in the year 2012, productivity is ultimately measured by whether or not you are leashed to a desk...
yup, thx for the heads up..

looks like they got little league, minor league and the big leagues...
maybe someone will sue their logo for being too blatant
no mat placement, no posts. i haven't seen mat/post logos in the last 2 UFC cards, just on the fighters.
Now i'm not sure if it's just the fact that i'm so in tune with seeing the MP logo, but it seems as if it's always in my face while i'm watching the fights.
Bruce Buffer also announced for the main event, "Sponsored by Musclepharm" although i don't recall if they splashed the logo in the middle of the fighter portraits when they bring up the pre-fight matchup. I know it was right in the middle for the Jones v Evans fight as well as the brock v overeem.
Maybe this whole restatement process is a necessary step towards the lifting of the DTC Chill.
I also took a look at the labels on some of my MP Products and here's what i can verify:
1 - Battle Fuel doesn't even have an NSF logo on the packaging.
2 - Armor V Has the NSF logo, but it has fine print just below stating it was Manufactured in an NSF facility. Same with Combat Powder and Bullet Proof (No mention of Certified for Sport).
3 - Musclegel definitely has NSF Certified for Sport
Not sure how that all shakes out legally, but it looks like everything they have on the labels is 100% truth.
sounds good man, appreciate all the good insight you give on the supplement biz.
yeah, if you look further down the road you can see the potential in in-house manufacturing of product...
but, with the rapid growth currently going on, wouldn't it be difficult to gauge how much they want to expose themselves in terms of more fixed costs?
i know i wouldn't want to commit to really high overhead until i knew for sure where revenue would stabilize at.
are you thinking the Canada building is pegged as one?
looks to me like the market likes the news... lol
i just want to know if the folks playing devil's advocate will still be here contributing (and i mean that, you bring a welcomed perspective) when this thing is trading at .20+
while the ratings may have "tanked", the fights themselves were easily the best entertainment in that time slot...
just downloaded it for my wife's iphone, another way to market the product...
i've got a good network of people taking the supps and investing in the company now, i'm sure there are similar instances all over this board.
i know WHEN this thing hits, my phone will most certainly blow up...
didn't it end up being 267mm shares? They PR'd 55mm and then when the 10k was filed it read 267mm
yeah, something definitely doesn't pass the smell test.
if someone's initial impulse is to sell their shares after reading the latest round of news related to MSLP, then they are either privy to non-public info or are from a different plant...
8 pm est.
Pat Barry is definitely a sponsored fighter, not sure about any others but i'd guess more.
They didn't have a single logo placement(Other than fighter banners and shorts) on the last PPV card, so hopefully they make up for it with this card.
If they are picking their spots for their mat logo placement based on exposure, then this card would be the one considering it is FOX and not ppv so should mean much bigger audience.
from the website:
We have received a number of inquiries from investors about MusclePharm common stock (OTC:BB MSLP) currently being under a "DTC Chill." The Company was not informed of the rationale behind the DTC decision, but believe it relates to the increased volume in trading in the securities and the current float of MSLP stock. We believe DTC failed to research MusclePharms’ growth and the increased market interest in MSLP common stock as being the underlying reason for increased volume.
MusclePharm is working to have this issue with DTC resolved quickly. We have retained a law firm and a broker dealer to work on this issue. The SEC recently reprimanded the DTC for making these unilateral decisions and refusing to work with companies to get the chill removed.
Until the issue is resolved, we can only recommend you trade through Schwab, E-Trade, or Scottrade to obtain quick executions. We will issue a press release when the DTC Chill is finally lifted for out MSLP common stock.
I have a problem with the bolded part, mainly because the increased volume is very recent but the chill has been in effect for much longer.
I don't care if they fucked up in years past, but blatant bullshit isn't something i subscribe to
i know it's been chilled since i started buying, which was November of last year. thats why i switched from TDA to etrade
the wording on musclepharm.com indicates that they were just made aware of it recently, which i dont buy
it is definitely a barrier of entry for lots of people and also a red flag for people in brokerages that already allow you to trade MSLP
they are categorized as Form T on the transaction list, wouldn't that imply they were indeed after hours trades and not reprints?
thanks for this, and any future updates
this is why i originally bought in, until that changes i'll be long... (as per today's filing)
On September 1, 2011, the Company signed a sponsorship agreement with Zuffa Marketing, LLC, the owner of Ultimate Fighting Championship™ (“UFC™”). The Company is one of five primary sponsors with Dodge Trucks, Harley-Davidson, Bud Light and Tapout. The Company is the “Official Supplement Company of the UFC.” The Company receives brand placement at UFC ™ events. Our agreement includes prominent logo placement on the mat, and our branding can be seen on Fox and pay-per-view worldwide.
whether the short term is ugly or not... the bottom line is that as the sport of mma grows and the invaluable exposure this company will gain as a result will lead to some pretty big sales numbers.
At street level, this product is smoking the competition. And that spread seems to grow the more people i talk to.
one question is, would them using 3rd party manufacturers be the primary reason for cost of goods sold to remain the same year over year?
i thought the 3 day settlement only applies to cash accounts.
even then, you can still purchase with unsettled funds, you just can't sell again on a position you opened with unsettled funds.
could it be the 55 million shares used to smoke the convertible notes?
please explain, locked shares?
If this is a sell-off, i eagerly await the rally!
Yeah, after a little bit of searching/calling i settled on eTrade.
Now to re-activate my 10-yr old account with them....
Thanks for the quick reply though
Which online brokerages are accepting buy orders for MSLP?
I tried Ameritrade, but non-settle status does not allow purchase of MSLP.
Thx in advance
