4Q report:
more of the same...Port problems, product cannibalized larger than expected, PLUS: expenses attributed with being a public company (dah, that wasn't understood, PRE-merger?) and higher stock-based compensation costs, product mfg legacy contract write-offs (why wasn't that taken PRE-merger too?)
outlook: revenues flat, more old vs. new gen headsets margins conflicted, foreign currency is unfavorable (35% sales outside of US), HyperSound launch in 4Q is planned BUT only if everything is in place to do so
my take-away: more disappointments vs. expectations and very shaky
management executions. Now, plenty of retail product and channel mumbo-jumbo offered as reasons why and how-come. Until company is profitable, ALL stock-based compensation should be eliminated.
expect Hypersound launch to slip entirely out of year, for many reasons to be detailed in 3Q conference call or press release, prior to 4Q being completed. No mention of FX hedging to cover 35% overseas revenue exposure, but working price increase angles through the distribution channels....customers won't understand headset prices going up because the euro tanked. higher prices will impact retail sell-through negatively (then that will be an excuse offered in future conference calls). just not "feeling it" for this management team so far.
just my opinion

"...perhaps our ambassador's been contacted..."
Just two line items in The State Department's budget for 2014 had the DR receiving $16 million: Global Health Program $5.7 million and Development Assistance Program $10.3 million.
I would hope for that kind of money, an American Company would be able to receive at least a returned phone call, from our ambassador concerning a protracted contract dispute, with DR's heads of state or officials "in charge".
call me old fashioned but doesn't money still talk?...just sayin'

...speculate the stock price could soon be a penny...
wondering what your definition of "soon" is? A penny is 50X the current price.
why the continued hyperbole? it's as trying, as the endless bashing.
and no, I can't sell and go away. the current "value" of this seven year dream, is the only thing reminding me about speculation.

4Q....
will it be more of the same? West Coast Port issues really impacted our logistics costs more than expected, causing abnormal margin metrics, uncharacteristic of our past performances...but the future looks bright
hope it's not more of the "merger hangover" story.
imho: small Parametric holders got handed one, in the merger.

all of those things sound wonderful. I follow the math, but the "dark before the dawn" has been more like a solar system's sun burning-out, causing everything to go dark (not just the dawn).

why do we need DR connections? why aren't we taking the contract breach to the American Ambassador, Mr. Brewster, letting him apply business/diplomatic pressure on DR officials, to expedite the remedy?
As an American citizen, WB (not shareholders) can seek that assistance.

What??? !!!!
now someone bids $0.0005 for 10 million shares, after buying 2 million at $0.0005? WTHeck is going on?
And why aren't all the holders, having had their heads handed to them with this #@%^& stock selling at the bid, just to get out?
it's not adding up.

SilkRoad: no disrespect intended; just an observation.
TB..."...know what they're doing..." couldn't the same be said of the oil guys? their product has gone down 50% since June.
HEAR is down over 80% since May 2013.
they knew what they were doing with the merger and how that combo enriched the two management teams but I'm not seeing (yet) how the shareholders have benefited. other than share price how does one measure shareholder satisfaction?

with volume today and totals from the past two weeks, someone could have just accumulated 1% of the outstanding shares...for about $5-6,000.
is my math correct: 18 million over 1.8 billion?
WHY ???? going to vegas is one thing but this?

10 million shares today !!! Dude, you're going "all in" on that cheap stock price theory? $3,000 is bigger than $300.
Nebula: what's going on?
anyone selling taking advantage of stock/loss tax breaks?

no questioning your conviction of Capt Billy's recovery ability.
I hope your assessment of the stock being "dirt cheap" is correct.

the DR gov't has decided stockholders can go pound dirt.

idk...with 26 million on the bid, why aren't all the longs taking that "gift", instead of pushing they're sellout up to the 4's? especially, with year-end tax selling but willingness to go out at 3's isn't visible
are market-makers even "active" in this entity, any longer?
idk...$3-$4k in vegas would seem a better gamble and much more fun....it's just strange..............hello nebula:

Mr Liggins/Thompson comments when asked about cost cuts:
"...I think we've always done a really good job of managing our cost and being draconian and when we needed to be draconian and we're going through that process as we speak..."
"...yes, it is uppermost and at the most..."
any sort of dollar amount you guys would be willing to share or help us understand the magnitude? "No, not at this point in time."
Just my opinion: with hundreds of millions in sales there are always costs that can be lowered/eliminated to generate a profit for the (share)owners of the business.
The self-assessment of "really good job" isn't reflected in "really good profit" but is evident in "really good pay".
A monthly car allowance for gosh darn, when the gentleman makes $12,500 a week.
A66
3Q wholly unacceptable! Do not understand how a business, with over $400 million in sales does not make a profit.
If I'm reading this document incorrectly, I apologize and please set me straight...
The 8K filed with Mr. Thompson's (new CFO)3 yr employment package is just wacked, in my opinion. $650,000 a year, plus signing bonus, $1200 a month car allowance??? He makes $12,500 a week: he can afford his own darn automobile. how is that approved/ok/industry standard when the company can't make a dime in profit!
what shareholders are being looked after, anyway?
A66

"HEAR" come the lawyers!!!!
now management will be more distracted, with chasers bringing shareholder lawsuits....down 40% this morning. 18-24 months from now we'll be hearing about the "costs to defend" were very high and just another reason, the future quarterly results stink.
the principals who benefited from the merger better start buying at the market, for their personal accounts to support this cruel joke of a company combination.
good grief...
A66
Poor 3Q !!!!
many reasons given...but management execution not very good.
maybe too distracted with self-interests, after "wind-fall" merger landed $$$ in their laps.
not much for the shareholders here (hear) to cheer

with Q2 results like these and pps going to 7+ from 22, don't do us any more favors. Major "holders" putting off the lock-up period, for a few more quarters...hopefully to work "up" the stock price.

Agree! I'd guess, after watching previous dive seasons, the UK investors made sure their $ was tied to valid contracts, with well detailed specifics about payouts, and payback timing.
And I'd venture they are ready & willing to do it again, once DR officials honor the contract, helping to prove they are law-abiding.

why do this hyperbole? $2 billion in 1 million coins has each being valued at $2000. are exaggerations really helpful, at this point, when awaiting (a very long time, too) definition on a division and contract/permit status?

I lost your calculation somewhere...don't we have 1,800,000,000 shares outstanding? Using your first listed number of $0.022 cents per share...doesn't that get market cap of $39,600,00? you list $19.3 million?
what have I missed?

you raise, I believe very important points, about our company's registration status.
do you have any information, as to how long it takes, for a filing to become "visible" on UT or NV websites? so, if a filing, new or updated were requested, 30-60-90 days ago, how long before public dissemination is available?
experiences with TX on state updates are not real-time and information filed at the county level require even longer, before they appear on state/county internet sites.
without the company communicating to shareholders, registration status, how long before we know that "expiration" is no longer the condition?
Thanks...A66
