Good idea. I think it is reasonable to have all shareholders spend at least 1 hour a week trying to help JBI. Contact businesses that generate a lot of plastic waste. Contact media. Contact your local political representative and ask about the possibility of setting up a plant for the waste plastic in his/her district.
I'm sure lots of people would be interested in this new plastic recycling technology.
I would take a guess and say the plan is to generate revenue from the P2O process. Acquire financing, build more machines, generate more revenue and become wildly profitable.
Careful now. That is a huge leap of faith to undergo. Haven't you heard? JBI is just a stock selling scam.
Interesting. How could that have happened? I guess she quickly wrote the article, already new all the facts, and posted it.
Further to this. I wonder why people can possibly think the U.S. government wants to kill a startup like this. So soon in its infancy and has already signed a ten year contract with NYSE RKT.
I wonder why RKT wants processors? Do you think RKT is a big employer? Do you think RKT might have access to a political ear? JBI is offering RKT to dispose of their waste plastic and share in 20% of the revenue stream.
JBI helps clean the environment.
JBI produces consumer ready spec fuel.
JBI looks to become a huge employer.
JBI looks to become a huge tax payer.
And somehow I am suppose to believe that he government is going to kill the company? COME ON.
Nice comparison. A small startup with two machines running at 5 barrels an hour vs the state of Texas. I have to go to work but I'd be interested in the production levels of Alberta if you get the chance to research it. Thanks.
Each and every one of those points had to be discussed at nausium. Yet JBI keeps moving forward. Everyday, the JBI shareholders have heard every reason why JBI will fail. Everyday, the hard working crew at JBI goes about their business of building the foundation of a monster company.
Now, we are suppose to believe that the SEC a division of the U.S. government is a punitive division that puts small business out of business. Yet the news talks about American ingenuity and putting Americans back to work. Somehow, I'm suppose to believe an accounting error about media credits is going to kill this startup. LoL
Waste plastic to spec fuels...can't be a future in that. YEAH RIGHT.
Canada, like the rest of the world uses the metric system. The headquarter of JBI is in Canada.
Yes, it seems there is a major buyer purchasing the stock. Very disciplined tho and looking to add as many shares as they can without running the stock. I guess one day we will see 2.5 million shares bought and really take the share price to a new higher level.
What's the next news item going to be?
The completion of that 500,000 liter purchase order.
The completion of the third processor.
The SWP giving JBI the ability to double current production.
Don't know anything about Erwin Grampp. He was really a machine operator and maintenance person? I wonder what makes him an expert on guiding a startup into a production company.
No question about it. I think all steps have been taken to keep the catalyst a secret.
I would say the "launch" started Feb 27th when the second processor came online. Until the final blueprint was finished on the processor you can not start the launch.
We know that the processor has been completed since the second machine uses the same design as the first machine. This shows that the machines (processors) are repeatable and designed to be modular to better effectively "launch" the commercial operations of P2O.
I am interested in commercial production post feb 27th.
Perhaps all shareholders should make as much noise as they can. Contact media outlets with the story sending the plastic2oil website link and maybe the discovery video link. Contact your local governmental representatives. Talk about this new technology that recycles waste plastic into fuel.
If you get a chance to ask Martin directly if he authored the complaint. I bet the answer will be something like "for legal purposes I can not answer the question."
However, the complaint against JBI does sick out like a sore thumb when compared to other similar complaints. Perhaps someone was trying to be too smart.
Today would have been a great day to "crash" the stock. What did we get lots of volume first thing and then nothing. Those extremely high net worth individuals who have invested in JBI, what if they are Billionaires?
What if they are holding the stock just above the retail investors threshold for pain. What if the are just collecting shares from the inexperienced.
Maybe, there is a plan to bring Max pain to "persons unknown"?
What if JB is very aware of what is going on behind the scenes and gaining political support. What if big money is being lined up on the sidelines waiting to take positions in JBI.
Nice post. Deserves another bump.
Nothing about the catalyst has been submitted to the SEC. Looks like parts of the Rock Ten agreement have been kept secret.
Good morning to all the JBII shareholders. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends with the family.
Our machines make what, approximately 5 barrels of fuel an hour. Since the start of good Friday till now 81 hours have passed. Five barrels an hour over 81 hours at say 108 dollars a barrel. Nice.
Two machines running so that makes what?
Uhmmm. Roughly a max revenue of 87500 over the weekend while we spent it with our families. Thanks to the hard working crew at JBI.
Ok, I see the point now. I guess JBI built machines to look pretty and told everyone that they convert waste plastic to oil. They "made" this story up and obviously it is not real. The purpose of this story is really to sell stock.
Someone needs to tell John that he is a terrible stock seller.
We do have conformation of a rail car of fuel shipped to indigo. We do have boots on the ground taking photos of tanker trucks leaving the plant. These two items have occurred in the last several weeks. So far, production has just started with the second processor coming online Feb 27.
A simple search will provide such information. I know in an impatient world we demand things immediately. The information will be provided to you in the upcoming quarters.
Great point about the furnaces. I'm not sure what they use specifically. What I am sure of is that companies like u.s. steel are huge consumers of energy and our products will most likely find some use at the plant.
The "Magic catalysis" works just fine. We know this because the process produces consumer ready fuel directly from the processor.
I'm glad to see that you find it reasonable that John scientifically Tested the catalysis before proceeding in designing and constructing the P2O machines. It has been a step by step evolution of this process and I for one am happy with the results.
The catalysis should remain a secret and we do not need to now anything more than it works. Guess what, it works and as of this moment most likely producing spec fuels roughly 5 barrels an hour per machine.
Besides. No way do I want any scientific results about our catalysis published. I want this catalysis kept a secret in the most absolute of ways
Can we rule out with absolute certainty that john did not perform your suggested scientific experiment? Perhaps the result have stayed in house. Can we agree on that?
I personally have no problems with recking the table top version. So, in short, sure I can agree with your assessment. Can you agree with mine?
Why do we want anybody around or working on the catalyst? We want to keep this a secret. All I care about is the fact it works, and the product produced is consumer grade fuels.
Nice post, I agree 100%.
I agree. I'd like to see that one day as well. Except that there is no way I want those processors to be run without our catalyst. The effect on the processors might be a complete failure and actually break the machines.
I think we should just stick with running our processors as is, the way John designed them to operate.
Your words "dismal" "disappointing". Those words are not mine. A new industry is being born, right here before our very eyes. I expect to see "progression" and "growth" in the magnitude that make me "optimistic" about the future of JBI.
LoL. Here we go again. Don't ya know it is impossible for JBI to ship there fuel....lol.
Nice photo. I bet this little factory will be pumping out enough fuel shortly to lay the fears of even the most hardened skeptic.
I get the feeling your wait won't be much longer. We have had production for only one month so far using two processors. Once the third comes online and the machines are run at full production for a couple of months, the answer will be found in a 10k.
A couple of quarters, we should get a good hint with the Q2 10k.
Any news on that 500,000 liter purchase order to a fortune 100 company? I bet companies like U.S Steel really appreciate our ultra low sulphur content. How many liters do you think have been delivered in the last couple of weeks.
I'm sure our clean fuel helps keep those blast furnaces running.
LoL. Why produce spec fuels when you can produce "goo". Not to mention the costs of building a agilsucks machine cost what 7Million vs. 800K for the JBI machine.
Totally agree with this. Nicely put. Bottom line is that JBI should have the right to succeed or fail on their own merits.
Imagine if those who leaked the information were asked to by " persons unknown". Stuff like don't worry about it...freedom of speech. Or, you don't have any such information and there is no way of proving that you could have obtained such information.
All of a sudden the DOJ comes knocking. How long before the people who leaked the information roll over on " persons unknown".
If I were the sec and brought this complaint to action. I would want it to stay as quite as possible. Many eyes on this case might be embarrassing for the SEC Boston office.
Forgot to mention the 5 distillation towers are pretty cool and that the spec fuel output can be "tuned". Nothing like producing consumer ready fuel right from the towers on the back end of the processor.
Love the fact that John diligently went about constructing the plastic2oil processor. The improvements made in the last year are truly amazing. My favorite is the processor was designed for 24/7 operation. The 2-4% residue can be extracted from the machine without shutdown and that this petcoke residue has use.
We have a final blueprint.
Hey Janice, long time no see. Hope all is well. I'm not going to discuss my complaint on a SMB but needless to say, I never mentioned the posting of that complaint with the OIG.
With all the SEC talk, I would just like to remind people of the underlying business. JBI has 2 machines running and producing spec fuel. They have a third machine in the construction phase.
With three machines running at 4000 pounds an hour the company will likely become cash flow positive. Oh yeah, and a ten year agreement to process the plastic waste stream from rock ten. NYSE RKT.
Bump.
Very strong Spock. Really like your messages tonight. I have a complaint in against the sec though the OIG. It's hard to fathom that the sec has the retail investor of JBI in mind when the complaint was issued 30 mins before the end of trading on Jan 4th.
Further, the complaint was posted within minutes of release on SMB's. Since JBI is held primarily by retail investors who were most likely working it is reasonable to assume that "persons unknown" had computers locked and loaded with program trading and "crashed" the stock.
The most harm done to the shareholders was by the governmental agency placed in charge of protecting the shareholder. As a shareholder, I would like the sec complaint retracted.
