I understand your apprehension in this situation. However, it has been my experience that convertible note holders are interested in one thing in this type of trade. Make money and protect their investment at all costs. NO RISK. That means not to wait for anything that is not 100% sure. Sell with a profit when you can.
Let's not set the expectation too high. Slow and steady price movement is best.
That is not how I see it. My perception is that many/most of those shares have been taken in by large holding longs.....who are not interested in flipping at that low pps. There of course are some flippers who will help smooth out the upward movement by letting some shares become available.
Curious as to what in that reading about the acquisition drew your interest in NESV as an investment. Was it the placement on the breakout board, or the fact that it is in the O&G sector? Or something else????
I think the statement should be WHEN the deal gets done...
No move will happen until the acquisition is finally done and PR'ed. Then it is off to the races.
What has he issued PRs on recently? I do not recall any.
Are any of us even certain it is completed yet? I believe it will happen, but not sure of what stage it is in right now.
I guess we all will guess about timing.
I would guess that at least 1/3 of those 16M are flippers....if not more. But what do you think the OS is today???? 60M....or less?
Talking to the company will do nothing, as they cannot tell you anything until news is posted. Some have said they have talked to people, who are somehow involved. That is not very meaningful either, as they cannot give out unpublished info either. I am curious as to the o/s now with all these convertible debt sales. Anyone have an educated guess?
I do not know what is taking so long with this acquisition, but I believe....so I just picked up another 50K shares at .024. Sitting with 177K with a cost basis of about .05.
I was wondering who bought those shares that I wanted.
Curious as to where and when he promised a PR in 10 workdays.
Le me know he info you need and I will supply it.
....and maybe I am him????
Tell me when you want to know when I work, as that will be the benchmark for those working days.
That is obviously only one person's opinion. I for one, believe we are in for a good run....not by Wednesday, like someone predicted. But within 10 of my working days.
If your goal is ultimate safety, and you do not care about huge gains. You can wait for the announcement and buy, and then get good price movement.
I just might be, as my hair has been growing inward since I was 65. NESV is going to be unreal.
That was my point. When people read about an LOI and think it will close contract in weeks, it is as wild a guess as can be had. If I had to guess I would say 'it will happen when it happens....if it happens'. An LOI is not a guarantee. I am betting that it does happen.
Great idea to wait until the announcement....however, at that time it may be too late to get in on the bottom floor, or even second floor.
What is accurate? Who knows how long a deal of this size (?) takes....weeks?????
If it were finalized, I would have expected a PR announcing the acquisition....with the name of the company(s). Wouldn't you?
They did not announce anything other than that they and another company had signed a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire their rather large company. Still awaiting the deal to be finalized. People are chomping at the bit, and anticipating this huge deal will be completed in a week or two. That was inaccurate.
What money are you referring to. This is getting confusing.
That is great news.
To know him is to trust him.
....and yet he is in the running for the past few years.
It appears I used the incorrect word, however a sociopath does not appear to fit Jim Porter.
Great....we may have an agreement here. If you mean that 'a scammer is really just a narcissist.'?
I call bullshit......
I guess you and I will always differ on this. I say a scammer 'knowingly' scams, and you believe that the outcome determines whether it is a scam?
So you say that the person would have to 'know' that there is really no chance to find gold. The most ethical CEO of the year candidate would never do that.
I must disagree with that. When someone does something with the best of intentions, and it does not work out as planned, that is not a scam. Explain why you would think otherwise.
Don't agree with you. A scam is not defined by price per share. If that were the case, many stocks with bad news would be considered a scam.
I do not buy into scams. That .19 was well invested.
What date does that equate to?
Irons are better. Unless you know something that I don't. Do you have an NDA?
