Thats the thing, you have an individual who is admitting he's realized the pattern/behavior of VCTY and is pretty much, indirectly, showing you how to make money *at the moment*. However because people are emotionally charged with VCTY they perceive anything that is not "cheerleading" VCTY as being a basher or not supporting the stock.
This notion is absolutely ridiculous and I challenge anyone to say with honesty and confidence that adapting to make money in a market like this is stupid. The people creating negative vibes are the people berating those they perceive as bashers..
Instead of calling them names they should be closely analyzing what these people say in relation to the behavior of the L2 and daily/intra day charts..... but you wont find that here. Most people dont even know how to read a chart properly.
Is it someone like schoals fault that an individual bought way too high and ended up being a bag holder because they got greedy eyes? I think not.. shrug
Good luck man, I'm sure you know by now but not everyone is against you.. and if most are smart they dont care what you're doing at all and trade according to their own style in relation to the behavior of VCTY.
Have a great weekend :)
You're mad at schoals because you picked the wrong time to buy? Think about that seriously and honestly for a second and tell me if that really makes a lot of sense. Keep directing your anger and emotions at a person and you will do badly in penny/pink land... hell play with emotion period and you will do badly.
Emotions lead to greed or unrealistic expectations which lead to losses.
Thank you for adding to the ever growing list of people who trade according to common sense as opposed to pumping and marrying a stock. Hopefully more people like this will start coming out of the wood works and stop all the crazy speculation and needless pumping; which only serves to disappoint people and bring the overall morale of the forum down.... not that I care but just saying ;).
Good post mate :).
Cloud cover followed by 3 crows, not good. Going purely by charts/technicals this will decline further; but more than likely due to MM's and flippers this will start to trade inside a sideways channel as opposed to tank.
That's based on chart only, as you've stated VCTY has other things going on that supercede the charts and technicals.
No offense, I'm a technicals/chart person as well... and while you may be reading your charts correctly; assuming you know more than the next person is flat out arrogance. Honestly I dont find your posts all that revealing in regards to trading.. you've said nothing special to date...
this is coming from a fellow person who follows charts/technicals.
Good day to you sir.
I would hope that no one is that ignorant to think you're the only person sitting on the bid or trying to buy at the bid when the opportunity presents itself.
Just so you're not alone, I've also switched into flipping mode while always maintaining a small position. This allows me to give bid support when it tanks too far and allows me to accumulate more shares on each flip.
I only order on the bid when I see an opportunity to. If there was more buying pressure/momo I would be slapping the ask instead.
So, if everyone would like to jump on me and berate me like you did schoal then go for it. Get it out of your system, I'm thick skinned and don't care what a bunch of people on the internet think of me.... i'm making money, are you?
Your statement is true if there's momentum. If there's no momo like what we see in VCTY... then the MM's will walk it down on their own. The only way to win in this situation is to adapt until the buying pressure pours on heavy.
Well said and very logical sir. Nice to see some people realize who is actually at fault for the current underwhelming stock value of VCTY.
Here's to a better week for all of us. Cheers!
Let's also reflect on this... when you flip you buy at a low and sell at a high. Giving you more capital on each flip, which means you can load up more shares on the bottom.
This does a few things, 1 it allows for less shares to be available on the market, it allows the person to accumulate more and more; which in turn gives them slightly more control over the PPS due to less shares available on the market. This means flippers can also drive the cost up or maintain a steady channel for a stock to trade inside of while there is no buying pressure. Not to mention that you continually get dry powder to throw at the stock to help prevent it from tanking.
Without this MM's would take complete control of a stock and really tank the PPS. I can cite several stock tickers I got caught in this year that are perfect examples of what happens when there is no buying pressure and also no flipping going on.
You can argue buying at the ask pushes the PPS up, but that's only true if other people are doing it with you; and contrary to what members on here would have you believe.. it's simply not true. Just look at the L2 on any given day and the 20 minute - 1 hour time frames we seem to have between buys.
He could reverse that "yeah, let me buy at the ask so that none of you will also buy at the ask and force me to lose 18-20% on any given day".
Let's be real here, I've seen people say "I've got a big buy pending at the ask but it's not going through"... only for me to put in a purchase order and have it filled right away; some individuals here are lying when they say they keep slapping the ask. So there is a bit of illusion to how much people on this ihub forum are "supporting" VCTY. Lots of mouths talking with no action, after all who would be able to call them out on it specifically?
It's not cool to tell people what to do with their money. Even if he wasnt on this forum he would flip/perform his own trading style. The only difference is that you can identify him by his ihub name as opposed to being a random number on the L2.
I have issues with this stock but it is in the way that MMG has been managing VCTY and their constant foot in mouth syndrome. If this had been done right flippers cannot stop the momentum; I've had several plays like that this year and so far VCTY has not come even close to the action I saw on those plays.
If we're going to point fingers regarding the stock performance... let's be honest with ourselves and point them at the source of the problem... which would be MMG and their constant mishandling of communication to investors and continuous promises/dates that seemingly never get fulfilled or met.
I can't and never will fault someone for protecting their investment capital and gains made to date. That's just smart investing.
I'm out for the weekend. I hope everyone gets some time to relax and chill out for the start of next week. Remember, Fridays are typically never very good/eventful.. nothing to get worked up about IMO.
I'll be hoping we get some information released from VCTY/MMG to help us regain some traction next week.. something fresh/new and not just a regurgitation of what they've said in past releases.
Have a great weekend everyone!
right, check my last two posts.. I edited/replied that I misunderstood. Sarcasm doesnt always translate well on forums. I typically end my sarcastic posts with /sarcasm because I've had people misunderstand me in the past.. but glad that you agree with my stupid post, sorry I didn't catch on to your sarcasm earlier.
Good to see someone else understands that you need to invest intelligently according to how the market is behaving; that was sincere, no sarcasm :).
Thanks for the person mark. Have a great weekend! :)
my apologies then sir, I misunderstood your previous post. It's hard to tell if people are going to jump on you or agree with you on ihub sometimes.
If I could return the favor I would. :)
edited: misunderstood your initial post.
Exactly. Like I said in another post, people need to realize that you had the option/freedom of sitting back and doing absolutely nothing. Then where would our closing price be today??
I have no problem with what you're doing. People need to think about it like this; the amount of liquidity you have for investment is yours and it's not mandatory for you to buy/support VCTY at all.
You could just as easily sit back and do nothing until reversal of trend confirmed.... which would leave us with less support which would allow the MM's to walk this way down on 100 share - 5000 share trades.
I play the stock market to make money... I imagine everyone here wants to make money and a single individual cannot change the momentum of the stock; playing according to the behavior of a stock is simply smart and has nothing to do with undermining the PPS.
no offense to anyone here, but if I see the L2 and that there is no momo to support my purchase at the ask. I will more than likely sit at the bid.
It's not that I want it cheaper... it's that I dont want to volunteer my money away when there isn't a guarantee I will get it back.
Remember, even if something seems like a sure thing it is not guaranteed until it actually confirms whatever speculation may be going on.
For instance I thought about buying at .0045 today but I didnt because there wasnt any buying pressure and the L2 didnt look great, I did buy at .0037 when the L2 was at 4@.0036 and 1 @.0038 because I Saw it had strong support but chances of me getting in at .0036 were slim.
If I had bought at .0045 I would be down about 18% on that purchase. That would've been pretty stupid to slap the ask when everything indicated that this still had further to go. My buying at the ask would not have reversed the trend without back up from others giving momo.
Contrary to popular belief we are not a team. My money is my money, your money is your money, shoals money is shoals money.
I hope that was sarcasm like I sensed it was considering how many investors globally are actively trading at any time and how many other boards there are out there on the internet o_O
It takes more than ihub to influence a stock.. if there is no momo.. if there is not frequent buys regardless of number of shares ordered.. it doesnt matter.
As long as there are 20 minutes - 1 hour time frames between orders this stock wont move. You're faulting someone for making money and utilizing the L2 to their advantage IMO.
When a stock stagnates like that the MM's just take control and with that they tend to shake people loose; now all of this annoys me but I cant fault anyone for protecting their investment capital. Thats like faulting someone for not holding a stock when it's dropping 80% + in 1 day with no bounce o_O.
because I get all my investment due diligence from facebook, where anyone can create an account with any name. o_O
Then it should be obvious the people who are selling at the lows are the people getting shaken. The people buying at the lows are flippers and MMs. Once they get 10-20% there is a sell off, so from the last dip to .0037 we can anticipate the next high to be between .0042 - .0045 (this is pure speculation based on past L2 behavior).
I do both long term and a flipper depending on what the stock is doing in the near/short term.
Yep, as much as i dont like it... the ups/downs are nothing new.
you werent here last week, the week before or the week before that were you?
Just going to do the smart thing and leave for the day. I've only got 2 plays going on right now and neither are worth watching.
Going to take the Cessna up for a couple of hours, maybe when I'm back the trading day will be a little better.
Good luck everyone.
I'm done buying until I see confirmation that this is actually going to do what we all thought it should do. If that means I buy at a higher PPS then so be it, but for now I'm done throwing money at this pig.
Yes I'm frustrated and annoyed... let me be.
L2 reversed.. bid @ 44, ask at 43
people arbitrarily throw dates on ihub all the time. I wouldn't rely on anything said to that effect.
There was no gap to fill today, and yesterday the gap was filled and then some.. putting us at -3%.
I said the exact same thing, it's as if this is some kind of sick joke at our expense.
Great, we're below .005 now. I take back what I said yesterday, this is pretty disgusting for a stock that just had a pretty nice merger.
Because it jumped up nearly 200% without news between last week and today. Yes there was a leak but no official release. You have to expect flippers to take profit and get out. This gain was had after massive shorting and MM manipulation.
It's speculation and nothing is given, but because of the circumstances surrounding todays 3% loss.. overall I'm not concerned.
Just curious if anyone contacted MMG on this. I dont really care what they say... I'm just more curious what kind of poop comes out of their mouth as an excuse this time.
IMO MM games and flippers, but tomorrow/thursday will confirm yay or nay.
MM's trying to do one last shake in a desperate attempt to cover? If so then we fought it off pretty well.... Also people who bought down in the .003x range last week probably flipped today around .007x area. That was a quick 100% + for them
Tomorrow and the rest of this week should bring better performance.
Very well said, people dont understand that buying at the bid does nothing but drive a stock down or keep it where its at. They think they are increasing their profitability due to a slightly lower PPS when really all they're doing is blockading momentum that would otherwise gain them 30% gains.
ugh.. This will start rolling eventually, there's too much behind VCTY right now to not get our gains.
As usual MM's are being criminal... we need some momo to push them out of the way. I hope the MM's get burned badly on this one
Wow, moving slower than I thought it would on actual news. Hopefully it's just amatuer hour and didnt lose steam between Friday and Monday's gains.
thanks, totally forgot to check OTC website this morning.
uhh, didnt they say they owned two subsidiaries as of last week? And now it's a merger Candidate? I really hate this wording, as usually MMG fubar'd their communications.
Hopefully the former statement from last week is the correct one and this 'candidate' was just a poor word choice.
can't imagine why MM's wouldnt be trying to cover instead of short knowing what is coming down the pipe based on the leak and then confirmation in the Friday tips.. a PR will make it official.
Just means the ride up will be that much nicer I guess, tough luck for them ;)
