I absolutely do not think you're on the same teams as the "bears". You fight them too hard with solid DD. Not that I don't appreciate how some of you keep going at it with them to let any prospective investor know they're full of crap, but why is Dennis allowed to misquote Ant twice a day and get away with it? The bears say the same thing over and over and over again. It's nothing remotely close to an intelligent debate. They have nothing but lies--the same lies everytime. I can't figure out if it's an act or they have learning disabilities. If some of them got any dumber they would require fertilizer. IMO
I remember when this board used to be for discussing WNBD. Now it's a haven for bashers. I've seen some of these reposts so many times I could scream. The mods delete posts that there's nothing wrong with, but allow posts by bashers that misquote others. Pi$$ poor IMO. This is the most exciting time in WNBD's history and 90% of the posts are meaningless rubbish that don't pertain to anything. Enough already!
We all know Eric is intelligent. He obviously knows that if he released the financials along with a PR Monday morning the sp would rise a little. He instead chose to release them late Saturday night with no PR. I'm sure he also knows that if he PR'd anything at all having to do with drtv going forward the sp would also go up. I've thought for a long time that he wouldn't PR anything with any meat until we went "current", but after reading what was still required of us by pink sheets it seems like that will take a while. An update on this would be nice.
The earnings are five days old now so it's a lost opportunity. There's still a couple of weeks before the projected launch of the drtv so maybe when the date is certain he'll PR that, but the fact remains that he could have LEGITIMATELY (without pumping) brought some attention to WNBD if he wanted to.
I'm sure there's a method to his madness, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out. I'm not complaining--just trying to understand the logic behind it.
LOL I'm in the same boat. Bought in last June and been adding ever since. I've averaged up and down while waiting for this to take off, but at least I got some shares. I think we're in love with the potential of WNBD. GLTA
I think I see where you're going with this, but I disagree. Nothing would be better than Eric doing a buyback. Company buybacks are wonderful. Our shares would be worth more because there would be less of them. He has said many times that he would do this if the company showed a consistent profit. What do you think he should do if WNBD is profitable?
How would this be better than a buy back? Please elaborate.
He's got it down to .0103 from .0124. I'd say it seems to be working very well for him. He's more than half-way there!
I didn't think the earnings were that bad. I thought the revenues would be a little higher based on us being in phase 2 of the business plan, but up a projected 17% for the year is not bad at all--especially before the drtv campaign. The worst part is that we'll have to listen to the bashers and frustrated, cry baby "longs" (who are not even capable of doing second grade math) because we were not profitable in the first quarter.
As far as I'm concerned, we haven't even started yet. The drtv is the beginning of everything. That will be the game changer. If you believe the american consumer will want this product then show some patience and hold tight. If you don't than sell on the next pop. We should all have a very good idea of where WNBD is going by the end of summer. I personally wouldn't sell until I see third quarter earnings in November--if I was going to sell at all that is.
I'd put a little more emphasis on the 4th quarter of 2009 compared to the first three. It was during that time when we were getting all those stores through Lancaster. I'm sure we're well over 5,000 stores now--just not listed, yet. It might be overly optimistic on my part, but I expect revenues between 250,000 & 300,000 dollars. Trackmoist is our x-factor. All in my opinion, of course.
It's going to be really hard to see a % gain over last quarter when they didn't bother to break 2009 up into quarters, only total revenue for the entire year was listed.
None of the above IMO. The most logical reason would be uplisting on pink sheets. If you're going to put out a monster PR it would be wise to have as many eyes on it as possible. I wish we knew the status on this matter.
I think Eric is holding all kinds of news. Some (NA's) because he is not allowed to announce it yet and some (store count updates/etc.) because he is waiting for us to go "current information" so more investors will see the PR and consider buying. Again, IMO.
I had a hard time sleeping after watching that video. My guess is that something really big happened, due to Mr. Fantus, and when Eric got home after his meeting with him the staff surprised him with this song. It was recorded and someone put it on youtube--probably Eric as I don't think a staff member would do it without his consent. Eric knows the only people who would have any interest in watching this is his shareholders so I believe he is trying send us a sign that all is well. It certainly seems celebratory and exhumes confidence. Of course, this is just my opinion.
You're right. How dare P&G focus on running a successful business and seize the opportunity for major advertising. Those losers.
You don't even know me to imply that I'm selfish just because I pointed out something from a business standpoint. Brace yourself for this, but buying and selling stock in a company is business! It's why we're here.
I never once said that it wasn't a good cause or questioned the severity of the situation. You certainly assume alot, don't you?
What a morning. First, Dennis might have a point about something--at least this is as close to one as I've seen and now I'm tending to agree with Bucks about you.
As much as I hate to say this--he might actually have a point with this one. WNBD is such a young company that it may not be in a position to donate such an amount of product like other more established companies. While this is truly a great cause, it would annoy me as a shareholder if we were diluting more to pay for it. Now, if it leads to some sort of government contract or a great newspaper/magazine article it would be worth it from a financial standpoint IMO.
I don't have a problem selling WC anywhere in the world, but if you think this was huge news I hope you have a sedative near you when we get our first US NA or we have a nationally aired tv commercial.
What I would fear is if Eric had the time to try to do this. I'm hoping he's too busy trying to get us "current" or with something big that happened in Chicago last week. I can hardly wait for his next memo.
"HUGE NEWS"? LOL This is a non-event. This could be one case of WC that one of our many ambassador's has strapped to his back while he rides his bike from store to store trying to peddle it. IMO this is the type of news that doesn't need to be pr'd--it's trivial at best and makes it look like there's nothing going on here. Huge news would be going "current information". Once that happens I'm sure Eric will have some nice pr's for us.
I agree 100% with you. I'm sure he has many things that he could pr right now if he wanted to. It would be great if he could give us an update on the status of our uplisting with pink sheets.
First of all, congrats on being a new dad. Second of all, I believe Eric stated this in a memo around the time he was actually keeping us up to date on our attempted upgrade with pink sheets. I don't remember his exact termonology, but the jist of it was that he wouldn't be ammending the 504 as often. Finally, I would never tell anyone how to invest their money.
Whether he was "advised" to not ammend the 504 as frequently--maybe quarterly instead of everytime he uses it or someone from pinksheets told him it's not neccessary to do it as often--it's old news already! Since the last filing in February, my GUESS is that he diluted once. Today, maybe the second time--maybe not.
p.s. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it you that said you're managing your dad's IRA? If so, you really need to keep up with these things before you put too much of dad's retirement on an unreporting penny stock.
I hope you're right. Ever since Eric was "advised" not to file an ammendment to the 504 every time he dilluted it leaves us guessing.
No news. Looks like a new 504 to me.
What is your definition of "heavily invested"? One million shares? Two million shares? In your opinion, how much will it take to get rich enough to retire?
If you put everything together and we're only at .02 I would be both shocked and disappointed. The NA alone (if we get one) should easily put us over .02 by itself. In fact, we should be over .02 right now based on anticipation of these things. I believe the soul reason we're not is the "current information" status that we have yet to attain. If we get anything from these other events you mention or a significant store count update before we get "current" the pps will not be nearly as high as it should be IMO.
I would be very impressed if they could accomplish this in a few weeks. It seems like a lot of work to get those numbers together. Eric will be gone for a week for the commercial and pink sheets will need at least another 3 to 5 days to review the additional information. I really hope they can get upgraded before the drtv campaign or if/when we get our first US NA.
The one thing I can't figure out is that Eric seems to surround himself with people who have a lot of experience in their field--professionals with impressive track records. I understand that he likes this lawyer, but why would he not at least hire an advisor who KNOWS exactly what pink sheets needs to upgrade our status? This is a very important step for this company at a very crucial time.
As crazy as it sounds, his numbers might not be so "out of the air". If a successful drtv campaign can generate revenues of $120 million in the first year (2 to 5 times more if the product is in retailers) than it is certainly in the realm of possibility. IF we can earn 90 million in revenues with a gross profit margin of 50% it would give us 45 million in net income. Using an O/S of 1.5 billion would give us an EPS of .03 per share. Using a modest p/e ratio of 20 would give us a share price of .60. Of course there is no guarantee, but stranger things have happened folks.
And for folks who only think in terms of market caps that would be around 10 million in sales. With a profit margin of 50% and a PE ratio of 20 (conservative for a high growth company) using 1.4 billion O/S. Now, what if we were one of those companies who had 120 million in sales thanks to DRTV?
IMO there was absolutely nothing "huge" about that PR. Brand awareness is about the only thing good about it at this point. People see it and hopefully will remember the name. They're probably giving stores a great deal for the privlege of being on thier counter. I wouldn't count on a whole lot of revenue from this anytime soon. Of course, this is only my opinion. Furthermore, the stock needs more investors. With the exception of a few bashers, we're all in already. That's why there's no volume. Current Information status on the pinks will really help this. In the meantime, try to be patient and hope Eric doesn't issue a 504 right now--that would be devistating to the current pps and you'll really regret not selling at .0135. JMO
1) If DRTV and NA's come and the investment community doesn't care and we're at .01 Eric will probably do one of the biggest share buy backs in history.
2) Anticipation of Lowes and first US grocer played a big role in that.
3) Pink sheet companies tend to be popularity contests at times, but in the long run a profitable company with a sound business plan and honest management will win out. The pps will take care of itself.
4) At this point, I think that anyone who knows of this company is already in, but how many people is that? Way more people don't know about WNBD than do. When those people see the big announcements that most of us have been waiting for, they will come.
"Why?". IMO it's because they have "Current Information" status and we don't. Hopefully we get upgraded soon and Eric PR's it. I wouldn't PR anything really juicy until we get that done. I'm not saying today's news wasn't good, but it's not the kind of news that's gonna bring in new investors to this "Limited Information" stock. In fact, I work with a guy who also owns this stock and at 7:00 a.m. this morning we both said we'll be lucky if we don't close under .01 with this PR. People are waiting for NA's and DRTV launch, not gas stations. You could take it as we're having so much trouble landing US NA's that we have no other route to take, but this. As a long I understand this move in terms of building brand awareness, but I wouldn't put out another PR until we're "Current Information". Who knows, with more liquidity this PR might of had a more positive affect on the pps. Just my opinion.
My theory, for what it's not worth, is that Eric is waiting for "current information" status from Pink Sheets before he gives us anything with meat in it. And since he can't control when that happens we wait patiently. JMO
Maybe he's hanging out with the boys from ISK.
Perhaps I should have chosen my words a little more carefully. I said "incomplete and vague" because it didn't show year over year growth and it was not audited. Those were two things I was specifically looking for. I did not expect monster sales numbers at all, although I expected a little bit more than 541K. I certainly am no expert on issuer information statements, nor do I claim to be, but I read it twice and did my best to understand it. Others on this board have way more experience with these things than I so I tried to get a better understanding of it through them.
I like to read this board for other peoples opinion on many things reguarding WNBD. I thought that is what it is for.
I knew the sales numbers weren't going to be great, but I was under the impression we would have year over year numbers from 2006-2009 (showing the growth). I also thought they were going to be audited and we would be listed as "current information" on the pinks. It was my mistake to assume this, but I thought it was the point. I'm not saying that there wasn't a lot of good things in it, but if you've been reading this board since Sunday night you can see the different interpretations of parts of it by some of the more knowledgeable members of this board.
You're right Dirty, it is a great product. The frustrating thing is very few in the USA know about it. I hope the DRTV campaign goes as planned in May. I don't think the share price can stand much more in terms of disappointments. The PR of the IIS started a nice run and the actual release of it killed it. I can tell by the posts that it left shareholders with more questions than answers. Way too vague and incomplete IMO. Everyone seemed to interpret it differently. Is there anything you or Scups (if you're reading this) are at liberty to share with us in detail about your meeting with Hawthorne? TIA
p.s. Thanks for all your hard work. It is greatly appreciated.
"Are you fricken kidding me?" Please read the post I was responding to!
I certainly hope you're correct in your assumption. I realize it's in writing this time, but what if the retailer has the option on when to activate it. In all honesty, if it's Lowes they might choose not to activate it 'til the year 2525. I actually hope it's not Lowes.
