Doubloon: One reason I only have it on watch right now. I made my profit from my buy over a year ago. Couldn't pass that up. So, if things go well, I'll just re-enter then. Not guessing here.
TRLG: This stock is about ready to rock. Anyone who wants in, now is the time. May not have this price opportunity for a good while again. Retail shorts are not able to short naked and currently TRLG is on the "hard to borrow" list on Tradestation which clears through Bear Stearns securities and has usually lots of resources to find shares to sell short in most stocks.
The action today was shorts starting to cash in. Many are still in the red, so chances are the stock will continue up and they will be forced to cover. There is more than 40 percent of the stock that is short.
Glad I sold. I want to get back in, but waiting for a better opportunity.
Well, I'm a new person now. I take profits when I have them. It works for me... ;)
I sold NXG for a nice profit. I'll wait and see what happens. I can always buy it again after that.
I sold OMNI today. A profit is a profit. Not waiting for them to doink any more. I'll find the next one.
Hmmmm. Makes one wonder, doesn't it.
One reason I try to make sure I have an exit plan normally. Sometimes, as in the case of OMNI, I just watch the daily chart and if I see the money flow depleting, I pretty much know it's time to make my way out.
Jag: Is your luck THAT bad!? If so, I'm out...:)
TDYH, not TDYG
TDYG: Up on some volume today. Maybe the end is finally near??
Just watching the action right now. Not sure if I should unload here. I'm finally above my buy price on OMNI.
See, sometimes it is good to know History.
I will be watching closely. I bought it higher than where it is, so would be nice to see it hit 10 or better.
OMNI: Making a nice comeback today. Home the momo keeps up.
Doubloon: I think they tried to keep on as many as they could when the merger occurred. They are opening satellites all around Texas now, and will be opening one in Austin in the near future. Will be employing either ex-employees who want to relocate or hire new. Will add a lot of jobs.
HPQ gonna do a lot better IMO.
Thanks Jag. I hope it does finally take off, which I think it will. Patience with this one.
FDRA: Continues its move up...eom
QPCI: I posted this one here a while ago I believe. I think there is more to come: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060619/20060619005283.html?.v=1
FDRA: Anyone here ever get any of this one? Posted it several times. Anyway, then went "live" today and had a new closing high. We'll see how it goes from here.
Holding OMNI, but it is underwater a little bit for me now. But then what isn't in this market. Maybe the Fed won't raise at all in June and the markets will rip.
I also am holding OMNI..
HOM went down in the mid-4's I believe something like a week or so ago. However, traders began to dismiss it based on some of Stocklemon's past history. Sounds like another Herb Greenberg to me.
too cute!
Wow! I didn't see that today. Hope some of you benefitted.
FDRA: Keep an eye on this one. It did have a 4:1 split not long ago. They will go "on line" Monday.
nlightn: Thanks for all your informative posts. I really appreciate those.
I got out right near the pivot point, but got in yesterday at a decent price, so it worked out well. Was afraid to chance it since I usually wait too long to take my profits and end up losing most times. So, I'll never complain about a profit again.
I bot it late yesterday, and scalped it about mid-day today. Margin is all but gone, so just wanted to make a few for a change.
TRLG annual meeting today. Lots of good stuff going on there.

From Zack's
Zacks.com is proud to share with you some of the best trading
strategies that truly allow you to Profit from the Pros. Today
we highlight...
Profit Tracks: Low Price Stocks
Many investors prefer stocks priced below $20 because the low
prices allow them to accumulate more shares. Fortunately,
lower prices do not necessarily mean lower quality.
This strategy identifies stocks priced below $20 that are
trading at discount valuations and have a Zacks Rank of #1
("Strong Buy") or #2 ("Buy"). The stocks identified by this
search strategy trade at price-to-sales (P/S) multiples of 1.0
or below. The strong Zacks Rank is indicative of positive
revisions in earnings estimates.
Combining these characteristics can result in high-dollar
returns. In 2005, this strategy generated a stellar +51.9%
return.
Here are four stocks that make the grade for the Low Price
Stocks Profit Track:

Waitedg: Do your best to get off margin. I am also heavily margined, but I am going to be moving aggressively towards gettig off of it. One reason that I wish TDYH's buyout would be completed soon. I need that money to help wipe out the margin account. Interest rates are a killer.
Waitedg: I posted several here this past week. Even two out of three would have saved you from yourself.
SRGG: Coming back nicely today.
TRLG: Article this a.m. states it is up for "sale" and is being handled by Goldman-Sachs. Auction may have been the word.
Yes, I know...:)
PPHM: This company had extremely good news today, but you'd never know it by the stock's action today:

I need to be lucky.
Thanks. Bottom line, when will this be a done deal?
