There has been an established sentiment on this board that has been repeated over and over by many posters:
We are in a trading channel for the past 4+ months and will need revenues to get a healthy amount of momentum to break resistance points.
As today shows, it has been routinely ignored. GLTA, see you at the start of Q3.
How does T/A take into account that the Georgetown and SA PBRs should be producing Omega 3 oil and fish food by the end of this quarter? And that the Omega 3 oil is already under contract?
Or it doesn't?
Thanks.
A much better description without the (my) sarcasm. Thanks, BB1.
It allows them to retain all decision making in house without giving up any portion of control in a toxic funding agreement. Having worked for a hedgie, I am aware of what this can do to a start up, public or private.
As far as I am aware, restricted shares for some services became free trading along with the increase in A/S. The 'promise' you speak of was built with those now freely trading shares.
The username and password are for BEHL employees, not shareholders.
It's horrible the company could not convince people to just give them parts or land.
But it appears they needed cash for the inventory on hand that will allow expedited construction of new PBRs without 'fast track' shipping. Probably had to hire the engineers they met out at the farm site last week too. Then there's all those modifications to the harvester because BEHL prototype grew too much too fast. And a phycologist, though hippie sounding, I guess does not work for free. Maybe Jose pays for his own gas to do site analysis. Shannon Plastics...I guess I could see why another startup manufacturer would want money for their work. Does the new website run for free? Helmut Gass' first R&D assignment, How to Make $$$$ Fall from the Sky, appears to not have gone well so he must resort to real science and not alchemy. Maybe we can convince the Paxton brothers to work for free since they all get to hang out with each other all day in the CA sun sipping umbrella drinks and talking over the finer points of dilution vs toxic funding.
Just horrible.
A number of posters have. No estimated time frame as to when as they shut it down for maintenance and/or visits. I thought it was on early last week for a little while and then down as the NAA came closer.
I'd imagine there will be a few visits & more downtime in the following weeks as more exposure was given at the NAA.
You can have your wife buy her pills here:
http://www.devanutrition.com/easyfaq/cat/Algal-DHA-Oil/63.html
Is the DHA Oil you use in your products extracted by the use of hexane?
No. DHA used in our products is extracted from algae without using hexane hence it is free of hexane.
Click on products, the above is from the FAQ.
Omega 3 derived feedstocks are starting to catch on in terms of chicken and cow feed.
When you visit the store, check out the eggs with Omega 3. Typically, our eggs and meats are high in Omega 6 due to the feed being grains and soybeans (greedy people those soybean farmers, huh?). A diet high in O6 can cause a lot of health problems.

Spirulina has been used as a highly nutritious food source for thousand of years by many different cultures.
Currently, there are a number of home growing operations in France that grow, harvest, dry and press the spirulina into spaghetti-like strands for pasta dishes.
They are having a difficult time meeting demand.
It is the disclaimer they usually have regarding confidential clients on site, maintenance being performed on intellectual property, etc.
Considering Goodall is at the NAA and the Algae Production Cert program was the two days before it, I would imagine that BEHL has been demonstrating their equipment via the cam to those interested.
It has been up at various points throughout the past few days. I have not tried today.
You need to read closer as to the reasons why the cam is down. It is stated right there on their webiste why the live feed would be down.
GLTY.
I don't have one. eom.
NAA Conference, Goodall speaks today.
Exciting announcement.
Everyone in a holding pattern until then.
How about we look for a positive cash flow before we talk about buybacks?
Otherwise, you'll give new investors the impression this is nothing but the same old same old when it comes to pinks.
Additionally, if the market for the equipment and algae products is what BEHL and Martek et al state it is, I'd rather see the company invest positive cash flow into hard assets to expand market reach rather than buy shares back. It is a better way to increase the value of the company for investors, not the PPS for traders.
BEHL is working with AlgaeVenture systems for harvesting. Not done by hand anymore. I believe they have PR'd the involvement of both AlgaeVenture and BECO labs a number of times now.
You're investment would be 9 dollars a share.
There is no need to r/s at that ratio.
Take the current burn rate. Cash is out with no inflows in 6 months from 3/31. Acreage in the farm up and running end of Q2 means cash flow during Q3.
PPM offering could come to fruition during this time.
Black Mountain financing could be wrapped up.
It would also appear that this NAA conference is Dr. Goodall's coming out party.
He's assuming the O/S is maxed. It is an estimate.
No need to approximate the precision of future estimated PPS calcs.
It depends on the individual structured agreement with the company in terms of who is being compensated with what.
I'm looking at it (the float increase) as a development stage company that has moved into commercial production of their equipment. The float needed to increase due to capital requirements in moving from one stage to the next. Funds were needed for inventory so a client does not have to wait 6 weeks for parts to be ordered and shipped from China. That's why we've seen the large increase in inventory and vendor deposits.
Additionally, BEHL has purchased the license for the extractor.
The great thing about the 98 acre site is there is all desert in that area. If the first intitial venture goes well for all parties, especially the owner of the land, BEHL has a foot in the door for more farms in that area. Scrub land now produces a revenue generating product whether the wind blows or not and at a hell of lot less of a cost than solar.
Seems to be the sentiment of most holders.
Float Increses -> New Hires with Impressive Backgrounds come onboard, inventory increases, deposits with vendors increases -> financials spill the beans that the North Palm Springs site already is being prepped.
I wonder if this is the 'exciting announcement' that will be coming out of the NAA conference this week.
Two days before the NAA Quarterly Conference is this:
http://www.algaeindustrymagazine.com/naa-launches-algae-production-certification-program/
NAA Launches Algae Production Certification Program
March 28, 2010
AlgaeIndustryMagazine.com
The National Algae Association has developed the first Algae Production Certification Program in the U.S., to be offered April 27-28, 2010, at the Doubletree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport. The two-day program will provide comprehensive training about such topics as algae strains, growing, harvesting techniques and extraction methods.
Attendees will learn about how recent developments are impacting the algae industry, as algae moves out of the lab and into commercial-scale production. The program will stress insights and strategies for developing, managing and distributing this new source of biocrude and its co-products.
The course of study will also explore the key issues facing algae production companies today: business-government relations, geopolitics, risk management, emerging business models, financing issues and technological innovation.
The NAA has created this program for “algaepreneurs” who are dedicated to learning the full spectrum of commercial-scale algae production, and has structured the program with a vibrant mix of instructors that represent diverse algae research related functions, industries and geographic regions. Certificates of Completion will be issued to individuals who successfully complete the program, and are not transferable.
The registration fee for the certification program is $500, which includes the two-day course, including breakfasts, lunches and coffee breaks. Participants registering for the Algae Production Certification Program can also register for the NAA Conference on April 29-30, 2010, for an additional $175 (NAA members/researchers) or $250 (non- NAA members). Additional details and registration information are available at www.nationalalgaeassociation.com —A.I.M.
Trading range appears the same today as it has been for over 16 weeks.
At least that's what I see by taking a glance at 6 month charts.
BioCentric made the sale. Since it will be filled by production from both PBRs, I imagine the order will be filled by Alta3.
Thanks for the correction. And nice breakdown.
Gummy, who's talking a forward looking PR about the farm? We're taking actual money coming in from it. Has it been announced? No, but there's a reason a field manager was hired and it points to things moving forward on either the client purchase side or the farm location, IMO.
If BEHL only fills the omega 3 order, I've calculated .075 per share.
5 Mill/a fully maxed A/S x 15 price to earnings. 10x makes it .05.
I find it hard to run any other estimates due to not knowing production figures for the V3 to factor royalties per pound into the calc. Besides, any PR about investors in the farm throws that calc out the window. It triggers additional revs on maintenance and construction.
Additionally, the A/S may or may not be maxed by year end depending upon the cash flow situation.
It's amazing how much information can get posted here on one website for people who have an interest in the day to day of the company while planning on being a LT holder. A number of goals have been laid out to be accomplished in the remainder of the initial 90 day period. Just because I come here to check up on the status along with calling and emailing the company doesn't mean I have to care about the daily PPS.
I have short term expectations while planning on keeping the company in my portfolio a while. My expectations are not focused on the daily PPS but in moving the company into commercial algae production and construction of the farms. That's why I appreciate the work of posters like Gofer and rafa who are in the area and check in regularly.
I guess this is more difficult a concept to grasp for traders who focus on bounces and daily PPS movement.
Nice, thanks to you and to beastie too.
doubleg, beastieboy has an excellent post w/ our 90 day BEHL goals in it that might be a nice inclusion to the iBox.

^Here it is. Or maybe sticky?
Gator, you can find that in the filings on pinksheets.
It seems you are missing some very basic pieces to DD. I hope you are not too invested in the markets if you are being honest about your inability to do basic research, such as the backgrounds of the officers and what the share structure really is.
I hope we as a board can give you the basics on BEHL and you'll be able to apply them to your future investments.
Good luck to you.
I think your internet is broke today, gator. Go give the TRS 80 a kick and try again.
I've posted about this board's perception before and how I believe it is an erorr to assume that the overall sentiment here is the same with every holder.
The amount of information here in terms of eyes and ears in and around SA is astounding. Couple that with a number of poster's engineering, science, and business backgrounds, you get to see a lot of 'dots' to connect. We here have a number of investors who are in contact almost daily with the company.
I thought the survey yesterday gave a good indication to the wide range of holding epriods people have planned for this stock. Considering there was a high percentage of holders planning to hold for over two years, I don't see where the concern is about the daily PPS.
New management has given every indication that i's will be dotted and t's crossed before revs are announced. We have been saying for weeks as this PPS has traded between .009 and .012, that we need rev numbers to get this back to where we think it should be.
Until rev #'s come in, I see us staying within the same range week over week.
By making the claim the OS/AS keeps rising, one would figure you have your finger on the pulse of the situation and would be able to provide those numbers.
Are you making a claim of rising AS/OS blindly? It appears so with your lack of proof.
Endless shares? Then why are people having difficulty getting orders filled at .0095 to .009?
Sellers could occur for any reason: tax bill, health problems, out of patience, tried this for a flip and got tired of waiting for a big run.
So it can only be one of those two possibilities?
Care to list the numbers for the float for the three periods I asked gator for the OS/AS? I mean, that would be proving your statement.
Hmmmm...can you tell me what the OS/AS was in June, at year end, and now?
LOL! Exactly. When there is no fire, one must be started!
And now you have moved onto the science of condensation with your puddle reporting.
Quick, someone PM Gummy! He's holding up a permit to the cam!!!
What is the rate of condensation on the membrane, given those temperatures are air temps and not ground temps? Doesn't condensation form on surfaces that have a differing temp on two sides?
How much condensation could form on a plastic membrane that is 6300 sq feet? Enough to use a sump pump to make sure the ground warms back up?
New management staff has already proved to be a positive in this fashion. I've pointed out the similarity between Clean Power's PRs and the old BEHL PRs.
BEHL ship is righted, crew is preparing to unfurl the sails.
Glad I have my ticket.
It may or may not be more along the lines of thinking that musician + green energy company = bona fide hippie.
I'd hate to put words in someone else's mouth but I can't come up with what he's 'getting' that the rest of us aren't. I haven't seen her resume detailing her experience, just the blurbs you posted.
From the phone calls of mine she's taken, she has passion for her job and does a good job of articulating where management sees the company going. Based upon the positive feedback that came from people at the shareholder's meeting and the interest she brought in from the first conference she attended, I see nothing to complain about what a person does in their free time.
She sure isn't sitting on a lawn chair strumming her six string while catching rays beside the PBR.
