Questrade is a margin account. Unfortunately half of my shares are there, so half of them are probably shorted.
CIBC is the same way... for years now we can sell but not buy...I had to open up a questrade account in order to buy, and I believe that those shares may be available for shorting, if I remember the fine print when I signed up.
Really....? Makes a joke of the crayola project when they are not even running the machines.
My point was he better be doing something besides sitting on his ass.
I guess now we find out about the tape business. With the processors being dormant one would hope JB's time has been spent on the tapes.
As a small long myself, I find your logic to be flawed... shorts cannot steal money off of us unless we sell.... so I guess you are trying to get us to sell? That goes against the definition of a Long, in my opinion.
:o)
An interesting, quite recent article that mentions JBII in it....
http://www.environment911.org/Crayolas_Commitment_to_Our_Environment_Colours_the_World
As worried as the rest, but still holding and looking to accumulate more when price is taken down again..... ho hum.
:o)
Those of us who have been around here for what seems like forever, know that this company is always super slow to do what it claims it will do.... the name change was brought forth a year or so ago, and now it is done... and I think it is a positive move.... I wonder what else will happen in the near future.... :o)This Company always moves two steps forward and then one step back.
So, basically, it was determined that he had made some mistakes because of ignorance, and must now take some lessons to learn how to do things properly?
That is how I translate this: prior to becoming or acting as an officer and/or director of any reporting issuer, as defined in the Act, Bordynuik will successfully complete the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Course administered by the Canadian Securities Institute and report his completion thereof to the Commission;
Nope..don't care... :o)
Dunno but I got my small order filled today at 0.17. :o) Still accumulating. :o)
hmm, I was wrong, there was a sale lower than my bid..... :o)
Hmmm...low of .1705 eh? Almost hit my bid at .17...... guess for 350 shares at .17 as opposed to .1705 the seller didn't want to lose that extra 17 cents...... (my math may be wrong but I think the point is obvious... LOL
He shoots he saves!!! :o) Have a great weekend everybody!
Still showing .1685 on the bid... hope you got filled... :o)
I am in total agreement with your statement!
I love it when the "angst" ratchets up on JBII. Meanwhile, I just sit back and either wait for the PPS to drop so I can buy more or for a processor sale so I can make a shitload of money.
:o)
And that is it, in a nutshell. I totally agree. I and many of my friends are as you put it "locked in".... it is black or white... sell a processor, or do not sell and go under..... still a huge risk but past history shows that this company has always been able to get to the next level....just not as fast as most of us would like. :o)
Investing in JBI is easy. Either they sell a processor or they don't. All else is noise. I am on the they sell processors side and my shares are locked up till the multi- dollar range.
Good point! I do know there were some whisperings in the past of JBII going elsewhere... perhaps that is in the works. :o)
Quote from that article, that I think perfectly pertains to where JBII is at right now...
Despite the high-profile collapse of Solyndra, the Obama administration has stressed that most of its energy investments have done well and it credits the program with helping the U.S. solar industry go from panels on the roof of a house to industrial-scale power plants.
"We want to replicate that success by focusing on technologies that are on the edge of commercial-scale deployment today," Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz said in a statement.
The department issued a plan last year to offer up to $8 billion in loan assistance for fossil fuel projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Something for JBII to look at maybe?

The 10K is gonna suck. The price is gonna drop. I am then gonna buy more shares. Ho Hum. :o)
I see the price is inevitably dropping down again.... as I figured it would.... time to send some more powder to my trading account.... lol :o)
Oops...looks to me like nobody has that many shares to sell, so they better up the price.... interesting to see if price is upped if the bid is upped.... ;o)
Yes, 4k was correct again.... I fully expect it to be run down to under a dime again, when I will buy more.... lol.... no shaking out of my shares. :o)
Thus Long investor does not wish to have any updates... in my opinion updates only favour traders, who in my opinion do not favour my long position. Hope that helps. Have a nice day. :o)
A strategic partner for JBII...wonderful... wikipedia defines this agreement as follows:
A strategic partnership is a formal alliance between two commercial enterprises, usually formalized by one or more business contracts but falls short of forming a legal partnership or, agency, or corporate affiliate relationship.
Typically two companies form a strategic partnership when each possesses one or more business assets that will help the other, but that each respective other does not wish to develop internally.
One common strategic partnership involves one company providing engineering, manufacturing or product development services, partnering with a smaller, entrepreneurial firm or inventor to create a specialized new product. Typically, the larger firm supplies capital, and the necessary product development, marketing, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities, while the smaller firm supplies specialized technical or creative expertise.
Another common strategic partnership involves a supplier / manufacturer partnering with a distributor or wholesale consumer. Rather than approach the transactions between the companies as a simple link in the product or service supply chain, the two companies form a closer relationship where they mutually participate in advertising, marketing, branding, product development, and other business functions. As examples, an automotive manufacturer may form strategic partnerships with its parts suppliers, or a music distributor with record labels.
There can be many advantages to creating strategic partnerships. As Robert M. Grant (2008, p. 44) states in his book Contemporary Strategy Analysis, "For complete strategies, as opposed to individual projects, creating option value means positioning the firm such that a wide array of opportunities become available". Firms taking advantage of strategic partnerships can utilize other company's strengths to make both firms stronger in the long run.
Strategic partnerships raise questions concerning co-inventorship and other intellectual property ownership, technology transfer, exclusivity, competition, hiring away of employees, rights to business opportunities created in the course of the partnership, splitting of profits and expenses, duration and termination of the relationship, and many other business issues. The relationships are often complex as a result, and can be subject to extensive negotiation.
I, don't, know, what, you, mean?
Exactly! I, as well as many of my friends, have a number in mind where we will sell "some" of our averaged down shares... and it is a lot higher than today's prices, that is for sure! :o)
Kinda hard to go down big.... lol :o)
I understood it.... I Owe U's..... :o)
If it EVER hits sub-penny then someone will have to explain why legit bids were bypassed. You have a nice day.... ain't gonna happen. :o)
Love your plan! I am slowly loading up too... wish had more powder to burn...but in the game to the end. I love it! :o)
You read that wrong... any cuts to other staff is over and above the cost savings of the staff laid off. I too am curious though as to how much of a cut they are taking.
4K, my 1500 was filled at 0.09 at 15:40 today... keep up the good work! :o)
Hopefully more dim ones will sell me theirs at my current gtc bid of .09..... :o)
I will let you know when I get another 1500 at 0.09. :o) (GTC)
I think it is called desperation, or last gasp.... How old is that? Lol
What I find interesting is that there were over 15,000 shares sold throughout the day for less than my legit bid of 0.12, which had been GTC for almost two weeks...(NOT all or none btw).... so much for automated trading legitimacy. Makes one go hmmmmmmm... :o)
Happy New Year everybody!
What IS interesting is that I have had a bid in for a week and a half at 0.12... and earlier on today before I finally got filled it showed a bid lower than that..... hmmmmmm makes one wonder, doesn't it? :o)
Hi 4K...just got 17000 at 0.12 at 15:55. Happy Boxing Day sale!! lol
:o)
I'm not hiding anything...hope the pps drops a bit more... I am buying 17000 at .12. If anybody really wants to get out, I am waiting. This is a legit bid, let's see if it gets legitimately filled. You have a great Christmas. :o)
