"...Thank god! Money is in the bank! I was beginning to wonder if today would be my last day or not. But as of right now, looks like I get to put on my dress slacks and go to work! ..."
Great!! I am happy for you. Have a wonderful day!!
Glad it was posted on time. Lessons learned??? Well, we can see how silly they were, those few SMs who were continuously blaming and showing destructive gestures during the last three days. I guess they should learn how to trust other people and how to be patient.
Smart??? Nah, stupid!!
"... (except you-know-who)..."
I guess you are inviting me. Let me tell you one thing: that is none of your business. The management has its own responsibility, and will make a final decision for you. You just wait. But, if you have a time and energy to concern about CPI, be positive and work hard for your employer, CPI. That is your responsibility, as a SM. Rather, you, FatLady, just want to sing. No wonder why we are here.
Very well taken!!
No one knows, but the studios in red should be closed.
I am not sure about that. Go figure!!
By the way, if I don't respond to your messages, it will be either my message limit is up or I go to a gym.
FWIW
I guess the major difference between you and me would be then that I don't blame on a company as long as I am on its payrol. I can always walk away if I feel the pay is small, the company lies, and it doesn't respect, etc. But, until then, I don't complain. I guess that is what I am.
"... paycheck scandal ..."??? You don't know. You are just guessing or speculating, which is irresponsible.
Very good points. I agree with you. But look at the garages the so-called investors are putting in here. The true inventors are positive and are working hard to save the company, not blaming and waiting for a failure.
Yes, you are a smart lady!! But, you didn't get my point.
What a destructive view!! Now you are blaming on B of A??? Give me a break. When will your negative views be ended? Hope there is no end, so that all SMs secure their jobs and the FatLady does not need to sing, which we never want to hear.
Thank you for your sincere message. I appreciate that.
Of course, I do respect RDs/DMs/SMs/Associates. And your suggestion and/or advice are very well taken. However, it is clear for me that I can respect the employees who work hard faithfully with positive attitude, but I just cannot respect the employees, who have negative and destructive views on their employer. As I mentioned before, the choice has been always ours. If we don’t like it, simply walk away from it. If we need it, stay with it, but don’t blame on others.
That is not the issue at all. My concern is why a few people on this board are so negative and destructive to CPI, while thousands of other employees are quietly and faithfully working to save CPI.
You should learn how to trust people. That is good for your life!!
Silly girl!!
There are so many idiots today, who do not know the words, like Responsibility, Accountability, Patience, but just open a big mouth.
I think you mentioned about the “Capitalism” before. That is the answer to your concerns, and that is the system where we are in. But, one good thing is that we have a choice, which is ours: if we don’t like it, we can always simply walk away from it, or, if we need it, we stay with it. However, when we do need to stay for our needs, we appreciate and work hard for it. We call that is a “Fair Play” and “Gentlemanship”. Hope your interviews with your potential employers are going well!!
If you are not furloughed or laid off yet, what you need to do is working hard for CPI, which provides you an employment and paychecks. That's the most important responsibility you have now during this hardship.
Thank you for your statement. I can feel it, and it touches my heart. Have a great weekend, and God blesses you!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I believe your opinions are most accurate and reliable analysis/speculation so far. Although some of them in this board don't believe Ch. 11, but I think Ch. 11 is the best way to preserve CPI business and keep most of our employees, which is critically very important. Someone said our current asset is about $20M (for some equipment), which is true in the SEC report. But, in my view, our true assets are those talented, experienced, dedicated SMs who are real value of CPI. As far as I am concerned, those values are more than $250M (known as hidden premium), and that's why a group of investors is willing to buy CPI. If we have shown a solid profit to the lenders during the last 2-3 Quarters, the lenders could have converted their loans to stocks, so that we can get rid of the debts, but it didn't happen. (Note: Yes, $94 M is a big debt, but if we show our solid profit to the potential investors, we can get a price of 1XRevenue/yr, which is about $250M. Unfortunately, we couldn't show our profits.)
Someone in this board also said Ch. 7 would be our choice. Ch. 7 is known to be liquidation, and I believe that should be the last choice. If we liquidate CPI, we lose all our employees, and CPI Portrait business is going to be a real free gift to Lifetouch, which I really don’t want to see without fights. This is my 2-cents view, and let’s wait until Feb. 15.
Same category!!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Frankly, that has been my curiosity. Why are they taking so long? What are the consideraions or real options?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. In my view, that is exactly what is going on with CPI and that is the situation where we are in, although we are not quite happy about it. I believe most of us, except a few who are complaining so badly about the situation in this board, agree with your thoughts because that is common sense and we are waiting for better future days. Have a wonderful day!!
Now feel so good??? Hope so. But, if you have that much time and energy, spend them on your new business planning, rather than trying to destory the CPI's reputation for which once you were so proud of. By the way, if you work as the FedUpSM today, make sure not to use the CPI's time for hovering on this board. I am sure you won't, but just in case. Have a good productive day for CPI and you!!
"Roflmao"??? Another destructive behavior. No, you are not influential at all, but you are trying to.
As you mentioned, you can open your own business at any time. Nobody stops you. But, don't try to influence other employees who are truly waiting for better days with CPI. One advice: As long as you are with CPI and on its payroll, be faithful. That is constructive as well as responsible. Good day!!
We can call it, as a destructive thought process!!
Truth??? Looks to me, it is a fake story.
Let's hope that the top management is going to bring more furloughed employees back to work. I am sure they will do as the business is getting to improve. In the mean time, let's do our parts/responsibilites as much and best as we can.
Truly sorry to hear that. I really wish that you will find a job that will give you good pay, security, and comfort. God bless you!!
How is your day so far? God bless you!!
I think we have similarities. Don’t we? But, I am not as smart as you are.
Don't start your new day like that before I get on you. Good day!!
Thanks for giving us a chance to smile this morning!! (We all need it during this stressed time.)
The REAL story was written in 1950, while the author, Damon Francis Knight, was living in Greenwich Village in New York City. Knight stated that he wrote the story in one afternoon, while his wife was out with another man. Have a good day!! (And don't forget to work hard for better days!!)
Did you say, " ...Half "butt" backwards only starts to cover it..."?
Shame on you. Is this a kind of guy/gal working for CPI? Well, I guess this is one of those few bad apples that we cannot avoid.
