Somewhere between 1 and 3,000,000,000
You are wrong! D&T has already accepted a retainer from Spongetech.
Except the current O/S. That should come out in the 10K.
It also looks like there are some corrections to the August filing. I don't know what is going on. I really don't but I do not like the way things have been unfolding as of late. I am cautious but I am still for SPNGE. No way will I join the naysayers.
I think the Dilution is now real. Just a thought.
SEC Filing
Its about time!
2 reasons as I see it.
1. Because there are actually that many O/S and SM has been gaming the system
2. Because that many shares will be needed to buy out the short position.
But I am open for more reasons?
REG SHO is now an urban legend?????? Come on
Drew and Spino, you guys got some good arguments. Looking at it real objectively MM and SM would have to have been real idiots to manufacture their own shares and dink around with the O/S like these guys are claiming. I think the days ahead are going to bring about some real interesting facts. There are way too many people vehemently arguing the other side too for this to coincidence.
On the other hand it sure looks like the relentless dumpers of this stock have something to hide. I also point out again that all of Timothy Sykes posting from the last two weeks have disappeared from iHub. I saw several of his posts and even responded to one. I am really starting to scratch my head here. Either way, someone is in a heap of doo doo. Especially considering the hundreds of millions of shares traded the last 3 weeks alone.
Hoping for us longs!
What did Tim Sykes change? Earlier people claimed his site was down but they said the site was timothysikes.com ... the spelling of sikes is wrong ... should have been timothysykes.com.
Also, what is HEB?
Have a good weekend Spino. Let's hope this thing is not as bad as it looks.
Problem with this is Moscowitz is out there changing the A/S numbers on seemingly a daily basis. I am guessing he knew he was being looked at and kept adjusting the share structure to match what it was at any given time. He had some kind of ponzi scheme running with RME. Someone is probably going to jail.
I hope its not hte case but I think things are bad.
Good point.
What if they wanted to see if they could buy the entire outstanding shares.
Tell us more?
I don't know how the SEC performs its investigations? Do you?
My 2.4 cents OldTymer, either the shorts were just caught illegally shorting the stock or management was caught in some kind of game where they were increasing and decreasing the outstanding as they saw fit. Either way, there are some illegal shares out there in the market. The 8K says the officers and/or other individuals. SO I won't be too quick to hang MM and SM just yet. Who knows, AYME could have been the SEC???? Just a thought. And I have actually thought that for some time. This could have been going on for a while. Who knows who the bad guys are at this point. Either way, the retail investor is right dab in the middle.
There are an awful lot of shares out there trading daily. There is more than Authorized and/or Outstanding as we know it. Come on people.
SEC Investigation
I never said anything about getting the evil naked shorts. I hope that happens but I am not holding my breath. And as for only seeing the good not quite. I try to look at fundamentals, that's all.
The bad:
- Late filings
- The Getfugu fugu or F-whatever
- The low price of the stock
- The lack of clarity on share structure, float, etc...
The Good:
- The records Sales
- Marketing momentum
- Ownership of Patent
- Profit growth
- Management buying back shares
- Capitalization of the company relative to earnings
I could probably find a few more on both sides. I don't sit around guessing who has how many shares and what it will take to force a squeeze. It may happen, cool. It may not happen, cool too. Its nice to know about the possibility but its not worth making a decision on. So don't sit here and say I am blindly seeing the good. I am not. But there are more positives than all the negative little gnats would have you believe and I am on the side of the fundamentals. The tabloid news articles and the constant bashing is unproductive.
JMHO
I just don't buy it. If I did, I woulda moved on a long time ago and I wouldn't be sitting here helping other learn their failures. But you keep chewing on that.
And they won't.
We will see won't we?
I hope such a thing happens. It could be very profitable. But, I will believe when I see it. I don't know if it will happen.
OTCBB keeps track of AYME's productivity. Last I saw it was at close to 200 Million. I think AYME is buying airshares. And lots of them. But none of us really know what AYME is? Or I should say, I don't. By the end of October I would not be surprised to see that number up 300 Mill.
I think they are still shorting the crap out of this. How else can you trade this much of the float every single day for two + weeks. The company even called out the shorts in their setting it straight PR. Nobody has any burning desire to cover.

(GetFugu has empty pockets)
is what it should say. GetFugu steals money from Spongetech would be another appropriate headline.
Not true. Management prepares all financial statements. The auditors only states an opinion as to whether those financial statements represent the true condition of the company. It is managements responsibility to prepare and file all financial statements. Accounting 101 ... actually where I went to school it was accounting 310 (Advanced Financial Accounting)
You guys are good! Thanks for picking that one up for me.
Must be a scam! Let's call the Post.
Good job Spongetech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Defeat Shorty.
They should unload themselves as you put it.
She must be fake! Good job General!!! LOL
Sounds like you might have gotten this off of The New York "tabloid" Post website.
She made about ten phone calls and browsed the web. That is about all the research she did ... if that. Someone probably gave her the info and said "here, print this."
Yeah, Ken Lay had a pretty good resume' too ... That was until he brought Enron down. She is a gossip columnist.
