Nice. Good to hear. Wegman has used fuel cells for other equipment so no surprise. But awesome to hear.
That 1000 unit order was part of the investor presentation. I think it happened beforehand merger was public. It would be awesome if they don’t wait but I imagine they would.
New article: Hyliion's CEO On Choosing Natural Gas Power, Beating Tesla, Nikola With Infrastructure

In anticipation of warrant conversions and PIPE investors being able to sell in the next few weeks. NKLA 7/31 $40P underlying price $54.50.
Wouldn’t they wait until merger is in effect by SEC to make such an announcement?
I’m actually buying some puts in anticipation of warrant conversions and PIPE investors selling. NKLA 7/31 $40P
Probably best to hold off on buying until the PIPE investor selling and conversion of warrants dues down. I would wait until it hits $30-$40.
Isn’t everyone afraid of all those warrants conversions and PIPE investor shares hitting the market in the next few weeks? I think it could cause a big drop.
Could Hyliion be in discussions with Walmart about using their products? Thomas Healy said he spoke with one of the largest retail brand globally and they said using Hyliion’s technology could offset emissions from their manufacturing. (
Agree. And it is only a matter of time before deals start getting made with some large companies. I have no doubt after hearing that radio interview that Hyliion will be receiving a lot of interest from companies trying to reduce their carbon emissions. And some of those companies will definitely choose Hyliion Hypertruck ERX over the Nikola product. Hyliion’s future is bright.
SHLL is one good catalyst away from exploding. Announcement of merger date or some other positive news will push this higher by the middle of August is my guess.
From new Motley Fool article:
Investors can look forward to Tortoise's second-quarter earnings report for an update on the merger deal and details about the financial state of the company. That's likely to happen in early August.
The real news, though, will be made when Tortoise and Hyliion release more information on their investors, financial condition, and business plans. That will happen as we get closer to the merger date, expected by the end of September.

At 60% the SHLL warrants should be trading at $8.70. Currently at $7.50. Nikola warrants trade at 66% of share price - strike price.
SHLL warrants trading at 52% of share price - strike price. Would expect them to trade closer to 60-70%. Seems like a good deal.
Agree times three. Thomas Healy is confidence inspiring and one of those people who gets things done. The type of person you want to invest in.
Thanks for sharing Wolfman. Awesome DD.
Can reserve a Hypertruck ERX now on their website.

New interview with CEO Thomas Healy on WhatTheTruck show. Starts at around 10:30.
Find out anything else?
Awesome thanks sir
Interview with CEO. At 15:10 CEO Thomas Healy says he had a phone call earlier in the day with one of the largest retailers globally. He said that the retailer said they could use Hyliion's technology to offset emissions from their manufacturing.
When news comes of one of these major retailers making a deal with Hyliion this will become a rocket ship.
Here is the video:
I agree. I think we see $50 minimum post merger, but I am hoping to sell a portion when the shares hit $100. it will be interesting to see what Nikola does after the warrants become exercisable. Should have bought puts on that one!
Yeah been adding warrants today in the 6's. 1350 warrants now.
Info taken from investor presentation. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1759631/000121390020015311/ea123187ex99-3_tortoiseacq.htm
SHLL Valuation: Nikola expects to make $3.2 billion in revenue in 2024, therefore Nikola is trading around 7.5x 2024 revenues. If we value Hyliion with the same at metric (7.5x 2024 revenues) then the company should trade at about a $16 billion market cap. With 161.6 million shares outstanding of Hyliion stock, that would give a value of roughly $100 / share.
Hyliion’s Hypertruck ERX is fuel agnostic and will be able to use natrural gas or hydrogen. The truck is more powerful than a conventional diesel as well.
No problem. Maybe you can get him to tell you if there will be dilution of shares to fix the voting rights issue between the class a and class b, or if it will just be conversion of shares. I feel like there will be dilution to fix the issue but who knows. I’ll think if there is anything else. Thanks for asking.
Morley Fool article on Hyliion https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/07/02/why-tortoise-acquisitions-stock-was-up-today.aspx
$SHLL has an established network of partners.
* Engineering partnerships with IAV and FEV provide Hyliion with additional design, development and testing resources accelerating the path to commercialization
* ANG will offer Hyliion customers custom fueling stations at their facilities if desired
* Collaboration with Faurecia & Symbio to potentially integrate hydrogen fuel cell in Hyliion Hypertruck powertrain
* All of their partners at the moment: FEV, UAV, ANG, Faurecia, Symbio, Fontaine Modifications, Lonestar Electric, DANA, Sensata technologies
Spoke with IR.
-He said they will do press releases to highlight big projects, and will likely make it a more regular thing going forward.
-They do plan on fixing the the voting rights issue between the Class A and Class B shares. And he would not elaborate but he said they would likely accomplish that by expanding the float between now and then.
-Their capital allocation policy is focused towards bringing down leverage and making acquisitions. The #1 priority is liquidity.
-Interesting fact he shared. Most of the time projects shared will be the total cost of the project, and Atlas stands to make about 8% of the total cost each project from testing, and consulting services.
The call is this afternoon. Any questions you want answered?
The voting rights of the common shares did not meet the criteria needed to be in the Russell 3000 this year. So I am asking if they will have that fixed for next year.
Nice some news on a new $30 million dollar project. Nice to get an update from the company. Need an update about the common shares voting rights issue now.
Awesome. I am supposed to get a call from IR today. I will update here if I do hear from them.
GOod question. Not sure. Maybe I accidentally chose that when I created the board. How to fix?
Nice. Good luck.
NFIN sounds promising. Got a starter.
Nice. Got a starter pack of warrants. Will look into this more tonight.
Why are the SHLL warrants lagging so much? Up less % than the shares.
