What is causing this spike? Things don't just spike like this for no reason.
Not to be Johnnie Rain Cloud, but I'm guessing if there's no news in the near future to hold this run up, it will drop right back to where it was. It being the rainy season I can't imagine any knock your socks off news is on the horizon.
But, I've been holding this stock for quite some time now and I'm really hoping for a steady increase in pps.

I haven't checked in for quite some time. One post today. Is everyone losing interest/hope? Is there any reason to believe this company will be able to turn a sustainable profit?

I like to see that expectations are becoming more aligned with reality. It decreases our disappointment when numbers like 1.5kg come out and will increase excitement when/if we're surprised with some big numbers get reported. On the previous PR, expectations were so high, results were bound to disappoint.

Why didn't they just say 1.5kg of gold instead of 50 troy ounces? Whatever.

Anyways, 50 troy ounces = 1.55kg.

I'm on the verge of selling my shares. This company is becoming a joke. The communication is horrible. We're becoming more opaque, not more transparent. There has been nothing but smoke blowing for quite some time. Things probably aren't going as expected and there's been some floundering going on, but fine report that and let us know why things aren't on track.

That field report was probably whipped up this morning because we were complaining about the empty promise that it would be released last Friday.

Management's word means nothing to me at this point. I regret buying into this. This might be my last foray into pinkie land.

I'd just feel bad taking money from suckers knowing that it's a scam. If I had money in I might even find myself pumping the stock when it's time to flip/sell my shares and then I'd feel really dirty and sleazy. I mean, let's face it, that's pretty low.

I have an ethics question. Now that we all KNOW Buzz is a scam, would it be unethical of me to try to flip this stock and take money from the suckers that buy into this joke?

Cork, as an onlooker, you certainly are talking down to people. Listen to what people are saying, they know how you are perceived more than you do.
I understand your motives are to keep morale and confidence up, and that's admirable, but I think you're actually accomplishing the opposite of what you hope to. By putting the blinders on and dismantling everyone's complaints and frustrations you're actually stirring up more angst, which encourages more complaining and frustration.
Fighting amongst ourselves will only make morale and thegeneral outlook worse. Just because an opinion is different than yours does not mean it's wrong or unreasonable.

I'm not so much concerned with the pps as I am concerned with recent disappointing news. I can wait on the share price as long as they have a good business plan. As of recent I'm not all that confident in the business plan. I do however still maintain very high hopes and hope Doug knows what he's doing.

You mentioned accusations of scamming and pumping and dumping. I haven't seen those accusations. Did I overlook those or possibly I missed them before they were deleted? All I see is reasonable questioning and frustration.

Yes, I caught the part about the new ocean concession. That's great news as long as it's true and I believe it to be.

I don't think there has been a sudden and unnatural arrival of negativity. I think it very rationally coincides with the disappointing news from the company. First the very skimpy PR and then the disappoint field report revealing dilution. It's not as if everything was going beautifully and out of no where all this negativity erupts thus driving the pps down.

Cork, these are frustrated investors, not shorts or manipulators. They've been here through thick and thin and right now things are very thin. It's OK to be frustrated. They have a right to be. Things are looking quite questionable at the moment.

Can you honestly say that you are 100% happy with how things are going right now? I couldn't agree with ViewFinder more. I think there is a bit of denial or something going on. I also agree that management has lost quite a bit of credibility here. At the moment, I don't trust them a whole lot. Although, I still have just enough faith left to hold onto my shares.

Some mention that a strong point about the company is that they have no debt. Well, of course they don't, they shove it all on us. Need money?..... dilute. These guys need to start trying to become self sustaining. They're trying to conquer the world. Right now, they need only to focus on conquering the two new machines they have on site and get them generating some revenue. They're trying to do too much at once.

I've been eavesdropping for many months and have been accumulating as well. I wish just as much as the rest of you for the success of this company, but at this moment, I am NOT impressed with how they're bungling this.

For those who are thrilled with how things are going right now, I suggest you take a step back and take a good honest look at things. I'm not saying all is lost, I'm still holding, but this is a bit of a dark hour.

I wouldn't waste my time letting Alexa know they're being gamed. I'm sure they're well aware of what goes on and I could not possibly care less about Alexa or their reputation/well being. Their success is not my problem.

Invest, just do a small amount of due diligence and you'll find that alexa is easily gamed, period. It's not a subjective debate. It simply IS.

Mrshmith, I don't know or care what Shayne's strategy is for manipulating Alexa results. Without letting the ratings sag a little it makes it difficult to brag about how much the ratings have increased in the past X amount of days. It's all BS. With the history of this clown, I think I'll base my investment on audited fins than an easily manipulated Alexa ratings.

That's fine invest, but Shayne claimed he was making revenue from those ads in a pay per click fashion. Shayne was lying again. As for the search bar, Buzz is paying for that as was stated in the email reply. Google does NOT do that. That's not how they generate revenue.

The Alexa results are total BS, IMO.

Invest, I'm glad you asked because your questions show you don't understand. Please read this closely before responding. It has nothing to do with Google. Google is NOT in the business of BUYING ad banners. You apparently have no understanding of Google's business model.
Google's revenue comes when webmasters place Google ads on their website. Google serves up relevant ads and when someone clicks on a Google ad, Google kicks back some of that revenue to the website. So, the hosting website might make no money if no one clicks and might make a ton of money if they get a lot of clicks.

That is not what is going on with the Bangkok Post.
FOLLOW THIS CLOSELY, invest: Shayne is BUYING an ad banner at a FIXED price. This gives Shayne the right to place whatever he wants in that banner space. Most of the time the reason banner ads are purchased is to advertise your business and drive people to your site. But, Shayne purchased the banner to give the impression that he is serving up ads for the Bangkok Post and making revenue from those ads in a Google fashion, hence the "Ads by Buzz" he put at the top of the banner. He 'might' be driving a few hits to his websites and that's about it.
Furthermore, most if not all of the ad links go back to his websites which makes him no money directly.
I know I'm driving this into the ground, but I'm trying to make it clear for people like 'invest'. Unlike a Google style arrangement, the Bangkok Post doesn't care if anyone clicks on the links in the banner. They're getting their fixed amount from Shayne regardless if one or a million people click on his ads.

If you don't understand any part of that, please ask specific questions.

And you're right, it's not a bubble burster, that happened a while ago.

For those of you using the Bangkok post as a crutch, here's a bubble burster for you. Buzz is paying the Bangkok Post, not the other way around. Buzz is making NO revenue from the bangkok post. They're spending money on the Bangkok Post. Read this email exchange between myself and the Bangkok Post's ad dept.

It's not rocket science. Also, check out this link. Anyone can buy a banner ad, posting whatever they. Even text that says "Ads by Buzz". So, goodbye to the Bangkok post making this a real company. Shayne's just spending a little bit of his cash to make Buzz appear to be legit. I'm sure you'll justify this away, but here's the link and the email exchange. I've noticed some advertisements in particular on your website and I wanted to ask you a few questions about them. I see you have some "ads by Buzz" and a 12Buzz search bar on your website. I was wondering how that arrangement works. Is that just a paid for banner ad and how much would getting a search bar on your site cost?
