I dont understand why some of you think Larry is out looking for money, or the credit crunch is to blame for delays, or Obama will save the day.
WWEI supposedly has "confirmed letters of financing." the DD for the execution of those letters should have been completed in November.
We await the results--period.
IMHO, using world events to justify or explain delays will probably give you a false sense of security
This is about the results of the DD and the financing! Those results will make or break WWEI
have a great weekend everyone:)
I think we are all basically on the same page.
FWIW, we all thought before xmas, then 5 Jan, then 15 Jan and now 21 Jan......................
Just ONE! Just close one deal and i'm sold :)
They have not closed one deal yet, and until they do.....
Trying to "GAME" the system is one of the things that really bugs me about this company. ...and honestly, is Ludlow a real investor’s conference? I've been playing with pennies for a long time, and can’t remember a conference at an undisclosed location, with a host who is paid to pump the company and sponsored by the company's partner (windcor). Is it just me, or doesn’t this all seem odd?
Just for the record, I’m not trying to piss on anyone’s breakfast cereal, but I am no longer going to view WWEI like pink flowers and puppy dogs. There are both great potential and huge risks. IMHO, with every day of silence from Larry the pendulum swings further toward the risk.
If they closed some financing, anything is possible! But my gut tells me it will be a quiet day.
I Respectfully disagree, WWEI released news regarding Global Financial & Capital Corp. That tells me they reached favorable terms. I doubt that they are playing with Angels, and there is no reason that I’m aware of that WWEI is seeking alternative financing. Unless Global Financial & Capital Corp did not pan out.
Regardless, It is time for Larry to update shareholders on these pending matters.
If Larry put out any new info yesterday at Ludlow, he would be required to get a PR out before market open. Otherwise, those in attendance yesterday would be privy to inside info.
The financing commitment is with Global Financial & Capital Corp, and the DD was to be completed in November/December. So where is the update? The contracts are certainly contingent on completed financing, and are just meaningless paper until money changes hands. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sticking with this for a while longer because of the huge upside. But, IMHO, this is NOT a done deal, and I am concerned that Larry plays with the paid pumpers too much. Why does he do that? He should just manage the company and let the real news push the PPS up.
All the 5-10 cent moves mean nothing unless there is volume to support them. Our time will come!
Dabbi, I’m not going to lie, I have a significant position in WWEI and I’m giving Larry and Co about 30 more days to get their head out of their ass. There is no denying that they have not delivered on milestones that were promised. I understand the difficulty with dealing with a foreign entity, but this is dragging out. If they close JUST ONE of the financial deals I’m here for the long term, but 30 more days of nothing and I’m gone. And all the BS talk of Obama, and his desire to move to green energy means absolutely nothing to WWEI. I’m a big Obama supporter, but he will have NO impact here.
Rob, said he could not discuss anything until after the conference. So read into that what you will. I'm still assuming that there is news forthcoming.
Not sure WWEI can wait too much longer, cash flow was dicey. IMO, they will need at least one if these finance deals to go through sooner rather than later. If anyone knows different, please let me know, but i suspect they are running on the coins found under the seat cusion.
Hopefully we get some answers in the next 48 hours.
the volume is very low, unlikely anything to get to excited about.
There you Go Blimps, finally a comment that we will be able to revisit to make a final determination who is right and who is wrong!
You say single digits (and I assume you are talking about pennies)
And I say single digits measured in dollars!
See you at years end :)
Oh and btw, predictions are not facts you should know better
Concur, they will need to get an 8k on the street before the conference if they plan to say anything new. I would think that the 8k would be tomorrow (IMHO).
Always a pleasure LOL
On the contrary, most everyone is still here! Nothing has changed to dampen my enthusiasm for OXBO. In fact, I will be adding to my position throughout January.
Once a license agreement is in place there will be no looking back, except maybe to chuckle a little:)
you still here lol
i think next week will be a big week for WWEI, just a guess:)
I think so also, expect so good news on Monday:)
Merry Xmas to the best board on ihub
seriously, releasing any PR ovr the holidays is dumb, wait for JAN you will be happy!
You still here Plumo? Haha
marcg, Some questions are asked in a genuine attempt to seek knowledge, while other questions are asked in an attempt to manipulate. Given your history, of asking oversimplified questions with a subtle negative texture, I suspect the latter is true. In any case, you should avoid this stock, it is obviously to risky for you. Have a great day.
It looks like a quiet December. I’m counting on a flurry of activity in JAN/FEB timeframe. To that end, I’m slowly increasing my position at what I view as bargain prices. Good luck to you all and Happy Holidays
looks like things will remain quiet for the rest of December
yes u have confirmed something....
come on let him pump it :)
jjkk, I also agree, they need to close one of these deals to establish confidence that they will close them all. I believe we will see the 1st JV deal close in the next 2 weeks!
LII climbing up slowly we will open higher!
"With the funding commitment that is in place we will be able to complete all of our project goals in 2009, including the Peace project, Zhanjiang, Yangxi, and Ningxia," says Shannon de Delley, Director of Welwind.
more great news, WWEI is growing up right before our eyes!
There will likely come a time (soon) when Chinese investors will make a move into WWEI.
OXBO has no reason to play dirty!
And, yes the infamous OXBO subversive was also linked to the Kennedy assassination in ‘63’
I think they have medication that can reduce (but not eliminate) the symptoms of paranoia
Some ex-investors really never learned how to play nice in the sandbox, and will likely bash all the way to the nursing home!
From Rob,
As with last week; there will be many new “eyeballs” on Welwind starting again tomorrow. I believe the short-term profit taking could be over. Welwind still has not released news of the Joint Venture projects being “closed”. The projects have been contracted and the funding committed but as yet, money has not changed hands. My calculated presumption is there could be further news on the horizon in regard to these closings. I have no definitive knowledge of this but it all makes sense if you have been watching Welwind’s projects unfold. This, combined with a wider dissemination of Welwind information, may culminate in a run this week which could cause a “breakout” through the stock’s resistance level. Those whom have been contemplating further investment in Welwind may want to take advantage of the few minutes left before the market close. (Never invest in a security we discuss unless you can afford to lose your entire investment. See “Disclaimer” below)

regardless of where we close today, tomorrow should be interesting. It would be nice to see a big LII gap prior to open!
