Wells Fargo must not be paying him anymore
Mr Sammons?
Those rules don’t apply on this exchange.
True, but that's not how D.C. works.
Another Joe light hit piece....
The senator from Wells Fargo is pissed he's about to get smeared about his involvement in FNMA
Interesting but it passed without any opposition
Pictures or it didn't happen.
Shhh... I have shares to sell
True to form.
Unfortunately, no matter who is president, Watt is allowing this to continue under his watch. Treasury technically doesn't control FHFA. Under Obama, we know they did, but no evidence under Trump.
They could try to replace Watt for failure of duty.
He's waiting for impeachment to takeover.
A tie is the lower court ruling = loss
Calabria sympathizer....
That's just what they were told to do. It's just money vs money, and they're on the opposing side.
Fake news!
Nothing published about it
Find it hard to believe this didn't come up with the solicitor general conversation
Same thoughts
Agree. Thinking along the same line.
Agreed. Just like Sessions said he isn't a racist.
Funny how that coincides.
I'm waiting for yanks comments on the Sammons mandamus denial.
Love it. 100% agree.
Correct The Record. A Hillary super pac.
Probably lost his main job at CTR
Although he doesn't have to do a good job defending it.
Tomorrow would be a great day to release the GSE's.
No kidding...
Probably not going to take 7 days for plaintiffs to reply. They've probably expected this and already have their response drafted.
If the presidential privilege motion gets denied by appeals court, expect an appeal to SCOTUS. Trump would want that protection as much as Obama and Clinton
My sentiments also. If Trump is elected, settlements would be within a few weeks. They don't want the documents out.
75 of that is Sweeney's motion to compel.
Gov't argument is light on case references vs. Sweeney's.

Sammons self-representation speaks volumes. Is it his lack of trust of attorneys or does he believe he knows better? Either way, his client is misinformed.
Faith in Sweeney to move this along is the problem. For all of her tough talk, she has only agreed to have the Government produce the documents. When it comes to actually handing them to the plaintiffs, she balks and grants extension after extension to the government. Pitiful.
Hopefully Sweeney is sick of this sh!t.
