Several inside transactions today. Also noticed one outside, whatever that means.
Hey nesster, another long. Nice to see we're moving up.
punk, FYI upeace, paul and reg are back on goog. Good to see our long term investors chatting again. I mentioned iHub.
I don't know. One is for DS and the other is for PSP.
These look different. The previous one was for Shepherd's Crossing 2 (Nintendo DS(TM)). This says Graffiti Entertainment Presents Shepherd's Crossing (PSP(R) System).
Also keep in mind that Ken has not sold one single share.
You've got that right. I've been here since 45 cents. Visited the site in Redwood City. Saw them at E for All. Have always believed that Ken wants the best for SDVI.
Might as well add Jakers!, shown at the E3 Expo, and Commander: Europe at War to the list.
Try using their time & sales feature.
We know someone has been shorting since 2005. Remember this:

I recently purchased a DSi to play Black Sigil, then Chrono Tigger & Mazes of Fate. Also purchased a Wii to play Zelda: Twilight Princess. The Wii and DSi are totally worth the money and all four of the RPGs are excellent. Note that two were by Graffiti.
Good catch. Horrible Histories looks like it would be fun to play.
Pretty sure Graffiti no longer has Martial Arts Capoeira. It has been removed from their site.

Anybody helping to increase the GPM so more games get ordered?
You might be interested to learn that retailers often look at www.gamestats.com's GPM (Game Popularity Metric) score before placing orders for games. The GPM measures the overall popularity or 'buzz' of a game.
The GPM calculates how many different people have put a particular game on their wish list, requested updates via emails, etc. What makes gamestats' GPM unique is that they look at an individual's IP address to ensure the score isn't being manipulated.
I added Free Running via the GPM.
http://www.gamestats.com/objects/143/14346474/
Also added Rouge Trooper
http://www.gamestats.com/objects/142/14253232/
Both games rank toward the bottom, 2011. Maybe you'll want to visit the above sites and add them to your watch list.

I just finished playing Mazes of Fate which is a RPG. Thought it was really fun. Can't understand why it didn't do better.
Scottrade still has their restriction on buying. Wonder why they didn't restrict SPNG since that stock has a lot questions surrounding it.

Your Video Gaming Stock Picks - Signature Devices (SDVI)
Thanks for all the great feedback regarding Friday’s edition “Don’t Sweat Unemployment, Video Gaming on the Mend“. As always, we invite comments that are intended to be instructive, enlightening, corrective, or helpful. And yes, you can even mention/suggest stocks you like… even if you own them.
We got one such video game designer stock suggestion this weekend from a reader. None of our staff were familiar with it, but since it’s worth discussing we’ve decided to open the forum up to other readers. Here’s the e-mail from the reader…
Since you guys brought up the subject I thought I’d let you know about the best deal there is out there IMO - SDVI.PK - they are a massive turnaround story, still way under 1 cent per share - about $1 million market cap and vastly improving sales and earnings with products already on Amazon.com and many in their pipeline. Started taking off today but could have a long, long ways to go :)
Editor’s response: Thanks for the note. We’re going to let our readers and fans chime in on the hope that one of them has something to add (good or bad) about Signature Devices. To head off any confusion though, you should also know this company under its subsidiary’s name Graffiti Entertainment.
It’s a non-reporting pink sheet stock, so information is hard to come by. Anybody out there know of anything concrete (and verifiable) about the company? Their story - per the recent string of press releases - does seem pretty compelling. And, the chart is forming a nice, slow, bullish arc that suggests a bigger-picture turnaround is in store. We’re just not sure what to believe on the news front.
Chart is inserted

Dear Valued Client:
Thank you for your e-mail.
Clearing and/or settlement restrictions were placed on the security in question by the Depository Trust Company (DTC). Due to this, Scottrade has made a corporate decision not to accept any additional purchase orders. We will only accept liquidation orders for existing positions at this time.
We cannot offer a time-limit on when Scottrade's restriction may be lifted. Once DTC has informed us that the clearing/settlement issues have been resolved, we will review the matter and consider accepting new purchase orders again.
You can view a complete list of securities that are restricted for purchase and/or selling at Scottrade by logging into your account online, clicking on the ‘Message Center’ link in the left menu and then clicking on the ‘Clearing Restrictions’ link.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Nintendo to cut price on Wii to $200
The game console maker hopes to drive holiday sales with the 20% reduction, which comes after Sony trims the price on its PlayStation 3 and Microsoft issues a rebate on its Xbox 360 Elite.
Let the price war on video game consoles begin.
Weeks after Sony Corp. trimmed the price of its PlayStation 3 console and Microsoft Corp. issued a $50 rebate for its Xbox 360 Elite system, Nintendo Co. said Wednesday night that it would slash the price of its Wii console 20% to $200, starting Sunday.
To fuel sales, Nintendo plans to reach out to millions of prospective Wii users by holding sampling events where shoppers can try out games on the console.
The Japanese game company also said it would release the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game, its blockbuster bet for the holidays, on Nov. 15.
"Combined with the value pricing, a new blockbuster release right before Thanksgiving and the opportunity for consumers to see for themselves, we will drive holiday sales to new heights," said Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo's U.S. business.
Nintendo has sold more than 50 million Wiis since launching the device in November 2006, making it the biggest seller of the current generation of game consoles.
This year, however, the company has lost momentum, with U.S. sales down 21%, according to research firm NPD.
"But the last five months, April through August, tell the story," said Michael Pachter, an analyst with Wedbush Morgan Securities.
"Sales are down exactly 50%."
Sony in August slashed $100 off the price of its PlayStation 3 console to as low as $299. Microsoft countered by offering a temporary $50 rebate on its $299 Xbox 360 Elite console, making the price $249 after the rebate.
Jesse Divnich, director of analytical services at industry data tracker Electronic Entertainment Design & Research, predicted that Nintendo's price cut would boost Wii sales 40% in October.
Since the site says, "The estimated delivery time will be approximately 7 - 10 business days from the time of order" I assume it's not physically in the store.
There are NO hackers. SDVI has backup DNS servers and the company pmsdns.org apparently lost their domain name, so it went to the another site. SDVI then switched the DNS and the sites should be operating as usual.

I sent an email to Scottrade about not being able to purchase SDVI. Below is their response:
Dear Client:
Thank you for your e-mail.
We appreciate your comments and certainly understand your concerns.
Clearing and/or settlement restrictions were placed on SDVI by the Depository Trust Company (DTC). Because of this, Scottrade has made a corporate decision not to accept any additional purchase orders. We will only accept liquidation orders for existing positions. We cannot offer a time-limit on when this will be resolved. Once DTC has informed us that the clearing/settlement issues have been resolved, Scottrade will review the matter and consider accepting purchase orders again.
A delay or inability to clear transactions can result in delivery fails which can have a serious negative effect on a firm's net capital, as well as subjecting the firm to market risk and exposure in the security being traded. Scottrade does not have a proprietary trading desk and we do not hold an inventory in any security. We are not willing to accept possible negative hits to our net capital due to fails or market exposure in a security that apparently has clearing issues.
We regret any inconvenience in this matter.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Look at Graffiti's site under the games tab: Reader Rabbit Kindergarten; Windy X Windam; Shepherd's Crossing 2 DS; Shepherd's Crossing PSP.
I agree. Having Jakers! and Reader Rabbit, if that's so, will make a great Xmas gift.
"The main problem is ken refuses to market the games whatsoever ..." That's not true. A great amount of marketing took place. Unfortunately, IMO it took place too far in advance of the games actual release.
"... even when the crappy games get reviewed they get horrible and embarrassing reviews ..." That's not true. Black Sigil's GameSpot critic score, based on 20 reviews, is 6.7 and the user score, based on 80 votes, is 7.3. IGN's 23 press ratings has an average of 6.8. The 98 Gamefaqs users rated the game at 7.9. Gamerankings.com shows a similar score for Black Sigil, and they show the 2009 DS Rank is 55.
BTW, there is a lot of hype about Chrono Trigger being superior to Black Sigil. After finishing Black Sigil, I purchased and finished playing Chrono Trigger. CT is a fun game but so is Black Sigil, although the first third of the game does have a high encounter rate. They're different. Because of the mapping feature, CT is much easier to play as one must remember the layouts in Black Sigil. Also one revisits basically the same areas in CT but in different time periods, whereas most areas in Black Sigil are unique. The Black Sigil game play forum & FAQ section was huge, and the best source of help for me came via Shotgunnova's FAQ/Walkthrough http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/944570/57108
Look at all those after hours bid/ask. The last one was placed at 16:22. Haven't noticed it going that late before.
Are you with Scottrade too?
I couldn't buy today with Scottrade. Anybody else having a problem with other brokers?
The press release came too late after marketing closing to have a significant impact. JMO
Ken does not post, nor read, boards. On Phaty, he's admin.
If you've signed up on SDVI's investor page, you should have received the following email which is a nice touch:

Wondered too if these were shares given in exchange for services, etc. But I also wondered if these were borrowed shares by MM that needed to give them back.
