To all: did anyone catch the ABC Nightly News last night?
Patents are not much protection when it comes to China.
China is copying EVERYTHING. Even one of GMs new economy cars is being copied so well that the doors of the original are interchangable with the doors of the copy. Other items being copied are watches DRUGS like Viagra and all sorts of comsumer goods. Gene therapy could have been the other item copied IF Phenuel Pursuits had been allowed to get their hands on the Herpes topical. Good that they did not get their hands on it.
How could management have even thought this a good idea? Still puzzles me and always will. Boneheaded is my only thought.

Rocket there is a part of me that is a Rainbow Warrior.
That part of me says we need news. That part of me says that
G has a point with NO INSIDER SELLING and NO SCIENTISTS LEAVING THE FARM. No news with Aldevron and no shareholder
communication tells me that there may be a disclosure in the contract that prevents CYGX from saying ANYTHING.
This is just my guess.

News has leaked though as evidenced by the volume and size of blocks going off on occasion when this stock looks dead on arrival.

I will be adding to top off my tank so to speak. This is worth the gamble.

To my clients: do not bet the farm. Risk only that money that you consider expendable.

When I woke up this morning Mr. Kibbles was asleep with his head on the pillow facing me about six inches from my face.
He seems very relaxed and confident about his prediction. Kibbles does have a tendency to get cocky almost arrogant. He is not there yet. So far it looks good for Mr. Kibbles.

Time to put my sunglasses on and catch a Bloody Mary in a manner of speaking that is. (smile)

SBmom, if the VI Technologies board was still available at Yahoo! you would be able to discuss Panacos to your hearts delight, however, Yahoo! VITX board was filled with pure traders.

I too feel good about PA457 so far. PANC still has a few more
phase trials to go though before the approval process from the FDA. My hope is that all continues to go well for this "drug" and that the opportunities for me to accumulate
more shares come to fruition.

Just remember, there are still things that can happen during these phase trials. This is the one drug Panacos has so far
up the phase trial pipeline. And nothing is gold until the FDA
approves it for use. That being said, this company still has a long way to go. If the share price goes to $7 again I will
grab more.

A Mr. Kibbles bomb was released today. The house stank pretty good.
Not the biggest I have seen him make. The stench was pretty powerful though.
Mr. Kibbles predictions I ususally decipher in two ways.
First is size. Not a whopper or grand daddy. I would put this at large which usually means Mr. Kibbles is predicting large volume soon with a topping price of $1.25. The stronger the
odor the higher the price. From where the share price stands
at present I would put this as a reasonable price.
Timing also has to do with size. The larger the gift the shorter the time period. Since this is a large the first week of December seems likely.

Topped my tank off today. My suggestion to my clients is that you do the same. Beware of too much risk.

I will keep my eye on those companies you mentioned in one of you recent posts. You may also want to keep an eye on PANC.
P457 is going to be very important in the fight on HIV. So far all is going well with this new class of molecules PANC
is producing. It has been shown to reduce significantly viral loads of HIV even in wild strains of the virus which is something many others have failed to do.

Two years ago I had seen an obscure little pharmaceutical
company jump to almost $100/share in one day on the news they had received FDA approval for their drug which helped extend
the lives of HIV patients an extra three weeks on average.
The stock had made this rocket climb on the AMEX exchange
starting at around $12/share.

Dicoveries are out there. It is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
