M1-I really believe that we will have something to cheer about, probably driven first by Acculife. The advisory board is impressive as is where the product fits with in different segments of the market. Unlike the fuel side, there is a deep advisory bench. I hope that depth will be added on the fuel side once the healthcare is no long a distraction.
Good comment M1 - thanks
Dshade-just wondering if management is willing to post the ppt presentation made to potential investors so we shareholder can see what was said. Any idea if they intend to to that???
DShade-heard the same thing. Wonder if the company is going to post the presentation they made? I sure we we all like to see it and FWIW I think such a posting would be a great idea.
Good luck to management on all their presentations today.
DShade-care to expand on the depth of the bench comment? More info is better.
Thanks Stockman93- very interesting read
Agreed-we do make it work better-but sometimes just because we make it work better does not mean we will replace what already works. I am fully aware of all the benefits we bring to the party. What we don't have yet is marketing muscle, but that may come with time or a merger.
VC-Thanks for posting this article. Very interesting. It appears from this article that China is already using a methanol/gasoline mix fuel. Is this potential competition for us?
Agreed on P+L - would have thought we would see some evidence of additive sales. Dilution less than expected. Will take a detailed look later today
Trader-find it very hard to believe that the company post a press release that was totally false. It's just not their way of doing things.
How do you know? Are you privy to insider information? Did I miss a company announcement about facility expansion?
Hope you are right. Here's a pure guess for everyone. Less than inspiring numbers will be preceded or followed by an announcement of consequence (Pilot/J or a gas deal). Just a guess.
Katiesdad- I am talking about the absence of any announcement after the GATS and further announcements about FL. I agree that when the company does announce things it is quite clear that things are progressing albeit more slowly than some on this board would like. Perhaps expectations were too high after the trade show that something was close with Pilot/J. I don't know. But what I meant by silence is not golden is that the vacuum of no announcements post GATS creates a sucking sound for the stock (the not golden part). When/if the news (whatever it is) is finally announced, I expect the negative voices on this board will find something else to wrong with the story. It is with great anticipation I await the numbers soon to be reported for those will tell a story.
Agreed, but in this case company silence is not golden
Would have thought we would have heard something from the company by now. Oh well, filing with real numbers will be coming soon.
the numbers will prove somebody right-and we don't have much longer to wait for those.
Must say I am surprised that there has been no announcement yet from the trade show. Seems to me shorty will maintain control until such time as we see real news and a real, meaningful increase in revenue.
With all the hype around the show - I sure hope Mr. Robertson is busy writing a press release with some sort of announcement that will chase the game players away!
DShade-thought you said you were done buying?
Isn't it about time for an update from Mr. Mills. Seems to have been on a two month schedule and last one was in April.
Thanks for the clarification
DShade: When you say "THIS Quarter" Do you mean Q1 2015 or Q2 2015?
Then were did the bump in revenues come from...healthcare??????
SURPRISED that there are no comments about the most recent financial filings (May 14, 2015) posted on the Encounter Care web site. Looking forward to Gurupup and Dr. Cashflow's thoughts on these numbers.
Perhaps management will disclose terms in their next update....whenever that might be.
Anything shipped before March 31 should show up as revenue in the quarterly report unless, of course, it was not a final sale, but done on consignment.
According to DShade-when the product was shipped, it was paid for. Maybe he misspoke...but he seems to know everything about the company. Inventory in Pilot stores supposed is owned by Pilot. So... we should see some increase in top line revenue...I think
Seems as if we should get Gov. Brown to fast track our fuel alternative.
California Governor Orders New Target for Emissions Cuts
Gov. Jerry Brown issued an executive order Wednesday dramatically ramping up this state’s already ambitious program aimed at curbing greenhouse gas emissions, saying it was critical to address what he called “an ever-growing threat” posed by global warming to the state’s economy and well-being.
Under Mr. Brown’s order, emissions would have to be reduced by 40 percent over 1990 levels by 2030. Under existing state law, emissions are supposed to be cut back by 80 percent over 1990 levels by 2050, and Mr. Brown said this tough new interim target was essential to helping the state make investment and regulatory decisions that will assure that goal is reached.
Mr. Brown’s order marks an aggressive turn in what had already been among the toughest programs in the nation aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Under the law put into place by Mr. Brown’s predecessor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the state was required to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020 on the way to reach the 2050 target; California is already well on its way to meeting the 2020 goal, and may exceed it, officials said Wednesday.
“With this order, California sets a very high bar for itself and other states and nations, but it’s one that must be reached — for this generation and generations to come,” Mr. Brown said.
The order is the latest effort by Mr. Brown to position California as a leading force in the world’s effort to address climate change. In his State of the State address in January, the governor called for reducing gas consumption by cars and trucks by up to 50 percent over the next 15 years.
Can anyone tell us which PJ locations are included in the initial roll-out?
They will show up if the top line in the quarterly report shows something---which I have little doubt that it will. Re the action in the PPS, a person who is very familiar with the 'pinks' told me that it is very normal for the pinkies. "no rules apply" he said. So H-8, stop fretting over daily pps and wait until the quarterly report to see if reality will catch up to the pps.
Thanks DShade!!! much appreciated!
LTA-Hope Gleason will post the pictures this weekend as opposed to delaying the process. Would not like to see a repeat of waiting for Ms. Lind's bio.
Seems as if that is virtually the same letter as 3/10/15
Hopefully the revenues that will show up in the next quarterly report will make these nuisance makers go away!
Thanks Cward and LTA for the responses and clarification. Figured there was some sort of delay, but in this day and age, one never knows what's real until it can be verified. Really appreciate the responses.
Trying to do DD per all of VC's suggestions. Can anyone give me the location of a Pilot Flying J store that actually has the product? Anyone....please.
Folks are not buying because of a couple of missed expectations in the past, call them false starts. Now they (potential buyers) need concrete proof as in growing top line revenues, before they are likely to take the plunge. Don't worry, I believe that revenues will ramp up in the next quarter or two...at least I hope so...and then all this bid whack nonsense will be a thing of the past.
I suspect the company has moved beyond the point where announcements of test results and major distribution arrangements will not move the PPS regardless of all the hype posted on this board. I also believe when there is tangible evidence of retail sales (as in meaningful jump in company revenue) there will be considerable upward momentum in the PPS. SSon has it right..I think. The worry warts are expecting too much to soon. If we don't see PPS movement by the end of the second quarter, then there may be real cause for concern. Until then "don't worry, be happy".
Rednecx2's comment is spot on as is Drcashflow's. I am not being negative-I am just as excited as others...but I think these two comments accurately reflect the current situation regardless of what the cheerleaders say.
