"IMSC is the lone contender for 100% of the ETD sector as things currently stand."
Winner winner, chicken dinner. That India order took 2 1/2 years to fund,I don't think we will have to wait nearly that long for cargo, but i can certainly wait as long as it takes for global benchtop ubiquity. Some pretty myopic folks on here- know what you own or this one will haunt you..
Sure are getting all lathered up for someone who's out of the stock less "a very small postion"

I'm sick of the missed dates and/or timelines Glenn keeps putting out there about the TSA approval. I told myself to lighten the load if not approved by Dec 3. I sold most of my stock at 1.36 but still have a very small position.
Enough is enough with all these pink sheet lying CEO's.
It would categorically be the defining moment in this company's history. They are actually turning the corner as we speak in advance of a TSA cert-having their best Q ever. The catalyst that would provide would be an absolute game changer. There is an immense amount of cash on the sidelines, waiting to go back in to the market. The market wants to go up. Security stocks are the go to place for new money. Implant has all the elements for a potential Wall St darling. Small float, even smaller shareholder base. Look at it this way, there's maybe 3k shareholders right now, if they get a TSA saftey seal, mainstream analyst coverage, develop more apps for their peerless tech, it's going to be a company going places. Gub mint contracts are the gold standard of foreward revs. I would rekon there will be 100k shareholders here within a few months of a TSA approval, shares will be hard to come by and look quite attractive at higher prices to those who touch OTC's.
Wouldn't want to speculate on an SP post approval, because I think it will shock even most here. The only other two companies on the QPL for ETD are trading at $70-80, have dated tech and hundreds of miliions of debt. Worse than that they have no answer for competitive product.
Implant will be able to penetrate a sizeable % of market share because they have the best of breed tech, and can move laterally much quicker than the bloated competition. Down goes Frasier!
Great time to be a shareholder here!
"A normal company" Imsc is not. There are choices here- you can sell for tax loss purposes like what is happening now, or wait a week and see it pop up to prior levels, then on to new highs.
Personally i'm in for the long haul, so I don't trip on the drifting SP. If they do get it together, it's gonna be a story stock to own- that hasn't changed since Dec 09. You almost need blind faith here to make the real money-second guessing it is going to prove painful in due time IMO.
Some of you are funny- you whine about some PR's, then demand updates when there are none. Two words- "quiet period"
You can really tell who the true longs are, V the faux one's, then of course the flipper contingent. Quite simple actually, if you now think Glenn is such a poor CEO than sell! Everyone is going to get what they deserve here, one way or another;)
I'm not saying he's holding the approval, just think it's going to be next month and that in hindsight it will prove to work out for the better from a momentum standpoint. Look, it's a penny stock with debt, dilution, and a story. Three years ago i told myself it's not going to happen on my timeframe, but their's, if and when it does happen. To squirm and grouse and second guess and demand anything at this point is well, pointless. In the end it's down to this- you either believe, or you don't. If it turns to piss well, it's a penny play and should have known better ,right?. There are no guarantees with anything investing, let alone OTC's. It's a high beta stock- to make the gains we all hope will bear fruition here takes an certain intestinal fortitude that most won't palate. Lot's of folks will be buying it at $5, including fund mgrs, but their gains won't be exponential like ours. I bought my first batch at .06, still waiting as i know it's an arduous task what they are trying to achieve. I would not have my money invested anywhere else.
All boats rise(and sink) with the tide. I'm not sure if Glenn is obligated to immediately announce the approval when recieved- but it is his to keep the SP up. To release a PR of that magnitude, into tax loss selling, fiscal debacle, while most people/ investors are away from the market for the holidays, would be a bad call. A new year, fresh start, TSA cert followed up by a series of orders and mainstream analyist coverage, the best Q in company history, is the correct move IMO.
No better way to throw cold water on a TSA PR than release it into the teeth of a fiscal cliff uncertainty. Glenn is a sharp cat,he's fishing for whales not pandering to penny stock flippers.
I doub't updates from Glenn will do anything at this point, approval is going to be delayed until Jan IMO. Confident in my investement here- going to have a great Christmas and look fwd to seeing this company blossom into a sector force in 2013.
Happy Holidays to all IMSC longs!
Fred, you are a strong long, but when you say a "competitor or someone is driving down the price" that easily could be construed as forces conspiring to hold the SP down. In the grand scheme, it's been treading water since spring, less that one shake which was probably one big seller that the MM's played to perfection. I don't even qualify that sub dollar blip as it was intraday and popped right back up current levels. The stock has been actually very buoyant considering all the delays. I will include myself in this sweeping staement but we are all too close to this unfolding story, because of the potential upside. The folks that keep their big boy pants on the longest here will profit the most. I'm av'ed in in the .50's too, and holding way more than 90% of the people here.
With all due respect the there is no conspiracy, noone is driving down the price, dmrj is not selling, there just is no interest in the stock at the moment. It's a forgotten item due to lengthy delays with TSA. It's been trading in the 1.whatever range for six months, it was .48 a year ago. I have been holding this for over three years, they are almost there and while it has and continues to be the boy who cried wolf nothing had changed- except i have now extended my exit points based on the news that has come out relative to expanding patent portfoloio and new hires. It's a curious study in investors here- how you can grouse about any penny play not living up to YOUR pre determined timelines is a head scratcher. It's a high consequence stock, and 99.9% are on the pinks for good reason. That being said this one is in that one tenth of one % that will be looked back on as one that rose back form the proverbial ashes.
Why be involved with tech that's in the winter of it's lifespan? It's academic to these people and why they are easily attracting the top talent in the industry-from sales reps to engineers to mgmt, quality control etc. Next gen technology means just that,it took almost ten years to get rid of current useless screening protocol, Imsc is going to be the gold standard for ETD/Drug screening for the next decade. Just imagine what new tech they come up with in the future, and how streamlined the process will be after they have penetrated the TSA gauntlet. Bottom line here is we are still sub floor to 99.9% of the investing world. The biggest challenge they will have going fwd is the ability to keep up with demand- not the worst problem to have IMO.
Another Paul McGann recruit..just about showtime.
The 220 is the tip of the iceberg. With the portal, drug detection, and who knows what other apps are in the oven think ubiquity. That's why the industry all stars have joined the company- "next generation tech". So many will sell the TSA news to look back in a year and realize they did not know what they owned..
You're probably right, i would plan on early next year. On the other hand terrorisim never sleeps. And on the other hand Paul McGann did say we were very close..but that was last month. How does one define close, is that in respect to the ten years implant has been seeking TSA approval, or like next week?
It's not just us, whatever happened to the apocalyptic Dec 3rd deadline? Point is you either believe in the potential, and are in or you are waiting for approval and will be chasing it up.
It's been a three year hold for me, and a very frustrating one at times. Watching these other companies with inferior tech get contracts is akin to having your hand in the air with the correct answer- but the teacher always picks someone else. We all here know they have the right stuff, but obviously it's not an easy task convincing the gub mint of that.
Getting very close to realizing our hunch was a correct one.
We are so under 99% of the investing communtiy's radar it's obscene. After three years of "the boy who cried wolf" people have forgotten about IMSC. Give it time to get mainstream media attention, it's going to be a wall street darling under $5 very soon. This was a watershed day for the company-first contract ever on home soil.
Kudos to Glenn and his mgmt and sales team for a breakthrough win-
Give it a year, people will be asking what did you know back then. DMRJ didn't exercise at 1.40 on a lark..
True, one would think the "best product we have ever tested" would get due kudos. We may prevail here,i'm just cynical because the old guard is still in control, hopefully there's a new sheriff ridin in to town..
Don't be too bummed out if they don't win. Remember, they are a fledgling company in the arena with sector giants- some of which are sponsoring the event and we all know how that game is played.
I'll settle for a saftey seal this year, and a pithy award next year.
B9, I fully expect these size contracts shortly(pun intended) to be as routine as the current handful 150 orders. A lot of folks are gonna be lookin for chairs when the music stops, and that time is radpidly approaching.
Tip of the iceberg
Dec 3rd will come and go, and there will still not be 100% screening. Even Glenn said as much in the CC. Pretty hard to get to 100% with only a handful of countries on board, they have been kickin this can down the road for four years now, and it will get kicked in to 2013 IMO. Too much emphasis is placed on dates,it's going to happen just not when expected. I'd be worried if there had been contracts announced, but that hasn't happened. The good thing is we are the chalk, and the delays in hindsight will actually give us a much bigger% of market share now that we are in like Flint.
TSL-
"Best tech in the last twenty years of testing we have seen"
Good read
https://www.securecargo.org/news/should-screening-get-a-new-deadline
This is why our vetting process is painstakingly long,TSA knows they have made big mistakes with their previous approved tech, and now with the OSIS revalations they are moving very slowly on future QPL's.
None, terrorists don't discriminate and they are here for the long haul.
Ugly, but not unexpected. I fully believe this to be the last bit of bad news this company will have for quite a long time.
It's worth every investors time to re listen to the CC. It's very seldom you find a CEO that's as transparent as ours. In a nutshell Glenn states the only reason they built the 220 with swab is because TSA requested it. .The tech is so far ahead of it's time they had to interface dated approaches just to get in the door with them. They are educating TSA on the next generation of tech- because they are still in a 2005 mindset because of years of bamboozling by Smiths and Morpho. IMSC is outside the box, once in it's going to be at the core of all ETD layered tech. That's why they have had little problem convicing the best of the best to come on board.
Based on the frequency of the date 12/3 being mentioned as do or die for the future of the company, I think maybe 10% of the investors really know what they own here-the rest will be selling way to soon.
Let's get through the election, then wait for the approval patiently as they have no control over the constant regrafting/revisions/re invention of the ETD wheel.
To each his/her own, but some of you cats have the whole entitled deal working and are waay to close to the investment. The Momo's shake the tree and you grouse about Glenn's performance- he can't tell you he's signed an NDA. Will you be givng him misty eyed kudos when it is all done? Serioulsy the yahoo board and it's jabronies are easier to palate.

Patience is a mother here, complex but well worth the wait..

And remember folks- there's a reason it's called a quiet period.
From the Doc-
"Non-Disclosure Agreements. Each manufacturer employee who is granted access to SSI as specified herein will be required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement prior to receiving or reviewing SSI. The manufacturer should understand that employees granted access to SSI and signing a non-disclosure agreement are bound by the terms of that agreement indefinitely, notwithstanding their employment status or any other background checks or clearances granted by any Government agency."
Not worried in the slightest- they have extended that deadline multilple times already and would not be surprized to see that again. Very complex and sensitive with respect to all the countries getting compliant- not an easy task.
Ask yourself this- have you seen any other competitors announcing contracts with carriers?
Why don't you just say your a trader and be done with it, instead of playing the role of the concerned investor, which you ain't.
B9,I agree,as well as those corprorate profile clips. The women are gorgeous- but it IMO it's not credible and cheapens the company. On the other hand it's Glenn's obligation to shareholders to keep the PPS up. I do not envy him, it's an OTC stock with all the shenanigans that go along with that with no earnings. He has to use every tool in his tool box, with NDA's in place, and has done a remarkable job.
Follow the new hires- simple as that.
Here's another huge factor in why it's taken years-
http://thehive.modbee.com/node/22087
TSA is a travesty IMO-and very fortunate to date. They absolutely need get it right this time with ETD
I picked up another 5k shares this week- .05-.10 won't matter much when people are chasing it up in .50 increments when and if the right news cracks. If you know what you own here, averaging up is a no brainer. It's all about share count down the road aways. I wish i had bought a lot more at .06,and .26 -people will be lamenting the same at 1.34
IMO they have contracts waiting to be inked with carriers-just waiting on QPL green light. It would not want to throw out a $$#, but with the amount of talent they have had working behind the scenes(especially Mark Gregario for the last 18 months)it would not surprise me in the slightest to see significant domestic and intl sales announcements before years end.
"Bursting at the seams"
Actually i would think the contrary, just like juries who need only hours, not days to reach verdicts. Think i saw on the GOV webpage the deadline was 10/18 for approval- i can wait another three weeks after three years.
Stay strong..
Something to ponder- do the cargo carriers need to have the screening in place by 12/3, or just have signed contracts with vendors by then? You would think carriers and implant sales team(s) have been in very close contact for months at this point. I would speculate once they recieve QPL status there will be contracts waiting to be signed immediately thereafter. Would also not be surprised in the slightest to see a series of them in short order.
It's not where they are at now,but where they will be in 6-12 months and beyond.
40M is a very conservative estimate IMO, and that's just for the 150/220. Portal & drug sniffer will be huge revs..
