sheeesh you guys, lighten up. It was a funny coincidence, that's all. All this hatred. Why?
This is funny, regardless of your opinion on this stock. Same address as CVSU.
Maybe we can settle this with a simple lie detector session. LOL

Thank you RonnieD and JJ Seabrook for allowing me to post my thoughts, and for allowing me to go on and on. I really do appreciate and respect it.
Going home now to feed the dogs, see the kids etc., and hopefully will resist visiting this board again for a short while.
Thanks again.
No, Doni, there is no truth to that whatsoever. Nice try, sort of.
No, the three option thing is unique. The rest, or most of the rest, is copied.
Maybe that part is so confusing because it was written by a layman, or it was intended to be confusing.
It's just a thought. I'm talking about the Merger Agreement, not an 8K form. It seemed weird to me that I could find identical merger agreements, but maybe it's just the same law firm or, as you say, boilerplate.
Double post - sorry.
I am definitely biased. No doubt. I'm also an idiot and a moron.
Agree. The hires are a puzzle to me. Maybe they are getting lots of shares. Maybe they don't know they've been hired. Maybe they think the thing is legit. Maybe it is legit and I'm totally wrong.
"They are considered a tax free merger, that allows them to rest the price at opening."
Laughable. What does the tax treatment have to do with the market price?
Those new hires should definitely be called. I would if I didn't have phone paralysis.
By the way, run a search on some excerpts from the merger agreement. There are other agreements with identical wording. Maybe just the same law firm, or maybe the agreement was lifted off the internet.
How much would I have to pay?
In the interest of gentlemanliness, I'm going to let that particular topic go.
Ah, $2.50 margin required in account per share shorted according to Federal Reserve rules. Many brokers charge $5.00 per share, but the 'better' ones go with the $2.50.
LOL, sadly I am married.
Not sadly, really. We have a good thing going. But once in a while I get a wee bit distracted.
Hi extra dough:
I don't think there's such a thing as setting the price when a stock is publicly traded. In an IPO it's done, that's the price that institutions will buy the stock, just before it starts trading. But this is not an IPO. And once the stock starts trading, no one is 'setting' the price.
Unless there's something I'm missing, which happens a lot with idiots.
I don't think it's possible you are human. Humans are flawed.
I'm guessing con job. The CVSU guys would have bought up a bunch of shares in FHAL, not to mention the 15 million shares from the convertible note at FHAL.
What's neat about this situation is the definite time lines. It's exciting, like overtime at a big game.
I'm having trouble getting my mind off Betting Babe.
Haley, the company does not set the price of stocks on the public markets. The buyers and sellers do that.
I'm not sure. I didn't short FHAL there. I can't reveal where I shorted it because borrows are a scarce resource. You have to work hard for them, and I'm not giving away easy leads.
Sorry.
Thanks flota, I know. I'll come to my senses shortly and stop posting for a while. For some reason I got sucked into this one. I think because it is so blatant.
I am saying we will not open at $15. The whole notion of "setting the price" is fallacious.
I've done them as low as .25, but the $2.50 margin per share makes that a very short term hold.
I believe that's one of the reasons penny stocks like to stay low price. You can't short them economically.
Man, you are being rude to a beautiful woman. Usually even the grossest clean up their act when gorgeous women are around.
late edit - oh dang, his message was deleted
Hi MFridge. Rufus will not say anything different on the phone then he did last night on the conference.
But I accept the coward label when it comes to picking up the phone. It's my achilles heel. It hurts me in business.
Have a nice weekend yourself.
Peter
" Then why is it commonly said that shorting non-marginable stocks is illegal in the US ?"
Urban myth. Etrade allows BB shorts as well. Many others. All the big high commission brokers like Merrill allow them.
Hypothetically - say CVSU is worth $1 billion and FHAL is worth nothing. Say they both have 50 million shares.
So CVSU shares are worth $20 each and FHAL shares are worth nothing. When they merge, the FHAL shares are worth $10.
So CVSU shareholders traded $20 shares in for $10 shares.
It's that simple.
People should stop calling me an idiot, since I know much more about this than most of you. I have an MBA in Finance and Accounting, worked in Mergers and Acquisitions in NYC. Been trading for myself for 10 years.
LISTEN PEOPLE - you can make money if there is someone else who will pay more for the stock, but the clock is ticking on that strategy.
I am not claiming no one can make money. I'm claiming the underlying value is not there to warrant this price, let alone $15.
Please don't call people idiots. It's rude.
Ronnie, that's incorrect. They are based in Connecticut. Plenty of articles written about them.

come on guys, use facts
Portland Oregon. Anyone here live in Portland? If so, let's get together. I'll explain to you who I am and what I know. I have no secrets.
Let me know if you would like to get together and we'll figure out a way to do it.
another insult what have i done to you? Said things that you don't like?
Do you believe in Freedom of Speech? Are you for or against the Constitution of the United States?
not worth responding to
I never am rude, I never attack others, I don't use insulting words.. yet I must take that from so many people here, simply because I state facts and opinions that are contrary to what you want to believe.
Why must so many people be so hostile? I have been called an idiot, moron, asshole and other things. I would never talk that way to anyone, except out of uncontrolled anger.
Are you angry?
Lesnshawn, they are not paying 10x less. They are paying 100 times more here. They are paying half of the stated book value of CVSU, or $400 million.
It makes no economic sense whatsoever.
Can you re-phrase that please. No comprende.
I apologize to the folks who missed out by reading the facts I presented.
The stock is up because it's being pumped to high heaven. If you want to trade on that, fine.. I have no problem. I'm just saying the underlying value is not there.
I don't have any employers.
I bet the filings will not appear, or if they do, that they will not show even $10 million of book value.
SPEA was definitely the exception to the rule, I grant you that. Thankfully, I researched who was behind that deal and covered my short before I was damaged.
I researched who was behind this one and did not cover the short. Well, actually, I did box a good portion of it when it looked like the irrational mania could make it fly higher.
Many institutions can buy BB stocks, my friend. Many retail mutual funds are prohibited by their by-laws but that's just a small portion of the money in the stock marker.
I am not trying to fight anyone here. I don't hate or wish to hurt anyone.
For some reason I'm intrigued by the mass psychology at work, so I'm continuing to post. It's a phenomenom.
If it is known that this will be worth $15, then it would be at $15 in the market today. Do you think that you and just a few select others are aware of this stupendous value?
The poor institutions don't have the intelligence or information flow to realize they are missing out on a 1400% return in a week, but you do?
You guys are in a dream world, and as has been said "When you believe in things that you don't understand, then you suffer.?
It's deeply discouraging that humans can be so unobjective. Must be the same internal mechanism by which Islamists justify their killing of innocents.
Salem Witch Hunts. The witches are causing this stock to go down. No, not witches, it's bashers. Wait, bashers are witches.
Go read that Carl Sagan thing again. Open your minds. Allow reality.
