Damn those rogue hedge funds! Killing GOIG and Foxwoods!
Did you get a free meal out of it at least?
You should go play blackjack with KPS and myself, we like to, err, umm, well, we like to WIN! ;)
GLTA GOIG LONG!!
Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun?
And was your venture today green or red? :)
SM
I just have to say:
I agree COMPLETELY!!
Not holding my breath for that to happen though.
Like to know what is going on in Spain. When does that thing end?
GLTA GOIG LONG!!
Sorry Boss, I can't take credit for that one! I was out picking up my oldest from school, didn't make it home in time...
I don't know what you're talking about, Boss!! :)
GLTA GOIG LONG!!
Great job keeping this one alive...here's another bump!
Great GOIG post, a must-read for all...
From ISLAND PABLO:
OK FOLKS! MY FIRST POST, HERE WE GO!
I've been in GOIG since January of 2010. Since I first read about this company and their concept I thought it was a great idea. I still feel that way.
I've been viewing your posts and comparing your guestimates of what the stock is going to do from the next day to your predictions of 90 days from now. PLEASE STOP GUESSING! Your only hurting yourself. It's almost like you made the rug your standing on only to pull it out from under yourself when the company doesn't perform the way you think it should be. Give it a chance to grow, it's only been 10 months since the original launch.
Businesses don't just happen overnight. I personally own a company and it took me 15 years to get to where I am today. I have a $30 Million company in the great state of Colorado and it didn't happen overnight.
Don't worry about their financials, the company is still very young and no one should have high expectations yet. However, the future is very bright for this company despite the share count, look at Citgroup (C). There obviously not a penny stock but check out their count and they still move shares everyday in a big way.
Does everyone remember what Ike said a few months ago in one of his updates. I remember him mentioning that the bigger companies weren't too excited about the Go800 service until the people knew about it and how to use it. This is what inspired the entire Twitter idea / Social Media connection to begin with. What's the famous movie line "If you build it they will come". Well in our case if we build an audience the big boys will come. I personaly have a nice company, but I'm not the big boy their looking for. I only lease three keywords for my two major area codes.
Do you realize this Twitter idea wasn't about increasing revenues through individuals, that's just a BONUS to the company and to us share holders. It's about making Go800 a household name that people begin to use on an everyday basis.
GO800 has a tracking method for every call that comes through their database. So one day when Ike or whoever goes to US Bank, Wells Fargo or AVIS, etc... and asks "do you want to buy our service now? You've had 100,000 calls connected to your company last month from our service" I'm also sure that it won't cost $500 a month anymore at that point, your looking at ten times that amount or more because of the demand and monthly calls they can prove. Those big boys should have contracted their name when it was cheap. You think their going to want to give up those 100,000 calls a month when Ike says were cutting off your free service if you don't sign a contract.
The potential for the businesses is huge once GO800 is known through every household just as 411 is or even google for that matter.
Not too mention this Twitter thing. I would guess that the 170 million users of Twitter are also on Facebook. Did you stop to think that GO800 will be all over Facebook from this Twitter launch without them even trying? The people will spread the word from one social media to another.
Just think of that bonus plan I mentioned about having Twitter users or Facebook users. This was not originally in their business plan but think about this? If they capture 1% of the twitter audience to register their twitter name, that's 1.7 million people. Let's just say they all go over their 100 free minutes by $10 a month or they choose a $10 a month plan. Do the math folks that's $17 Million a MONTH in revenue just off 1% of twitter users. This only can take GO800 to levels no one has even thought of.
You can play GOIG like a penny stock and trade it everyday or with every big PR, but don't get left behind when this takes off. I've been playing stocks and investing in them for many years. I've watched some of my stock purchases go way up by 10, 20 or even 60 times their value and never sold, only to watch my profits disappear. Yes, that hurts! However, nothing hurts worse than being in a stock at a great price just like GOIG and to sell too early because you didn't want to be greedy only to watch it go higher than you ever dreamed and not be a part of it.
Ike isn't about building this company from an office in New York and releasing PR's to hype the price and not have a product to back it up like 99% of the other penny stocks out there. GO800 is a real active service that we all can use everyday. That alone should be enough to prove to you this is REAL and get you excited about this company.
Brendan, great work!
Ike, from one CEO to another, keep up the great work and continue the vision you have for GO800.
I wish everyone the best whether you believe in GOIG or not.
That is AeWsOmE!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!
GLTA GOIG!!
Yoyo is great, always there with a well-timed wise crack, just when we need it most!
GLTA GOIG LONG!
One could probably make some good money by following him around, etc...lol
To be honest, once the true colors showed through, I absolutely ignored everything else said after that. Hard enough knowing who/what to believe let alone once you actually have reason to be concerned. I just hope that nothing that was said was taken by anyone as fact, that DD was done, stories verified (or debunked), etc.
I hope newcomers to the board (and the stock) get an impression that we care about being honest, setting a good, genuine reputation as GOIG shareholders, etc. Trust is everything! Or, as Reagan once said: "Trust, but verify!"
GLTA GOIG LONG!!
He did what he came here to do, and has moved on to the next one. It's just as well. Being dishonest and fake can give the wrong impression to people, especially when we are hoping to attract new investors. So we're better off now, GOIG is better off now.
GLTA GOIG LONG!
B+B, did you ever see my public reply to your PM? It's gone now (no idea why) but was hoping you saw it first!
GLTA GOIG LONG!
I'm with you, JL! A GOIG explosion could trigger many job openings at QP one day! :)
GLTA GOIG LONG!
It certainly is very possible, and this kind of thing happens all the time. That would also be a win for shareholders, maybe not quite the big long term payout, but certainly a very decent return on our money!
GLTA...
Great ideas, maslom1! This is the kind of brainstorming that generates some really great ideas, and believe me, Brendan is reading so keep'em coming!
GLTA GOIG!
Thanks GStockz, though I still have a long way to go compared to many of the other great, honest, yet realistic posts from folks like yourself and other level-headed "long" shareholders!
Thanks to all!
GLTA GOIG!
Mickey, thanks for the warning, that is certainly fair enough!
Thanks to all for your great replies, keep the faith and ye shall be rewarded. I still have some concerns like everyone else, but overall just keeping the light on for that big moment...
GO GOIG!
In fact, I stopped by your office today but found you were off on a trip! Enjoy, and "will do" on the wake up call! That is if JL doesn't beat me to it...
And a shout out to MD who just today figured out who "SteveSox" is and asked me about it at the morning meeting. Cheers!
Thanks to all for your great replies, keep the faith and ye shall be rewarded. I still have some concerns like everyone else, but overall just keeping the light on for that big moment...
GO GOIG!
Yoyo, got your PM and as is usually the case, I agree completely with literally every point you make about GOIG and everything else.
GL to us all! GIG LONG...
Thanks Gemini! I am far more disappointed with what's been going on with this board lately than I am with the company. Senseless bickering, needless whining about late fins even though the company is under no requirement to post them at all, excellent stickies being replaced (and the subsequent arguing it triggers, though rightfully so), fake interest jumping in then jumping out, etc. I could go on & on. Like GStockz said recently, red brings out true personalities.
Either believe in the concept and buy in, or sell out and move to the next stock that catches your interest.
I'm in, and while the wait for something big to happen may be as frustrating as it is exciting, it's a mere pittance to what potentially awaits. And compared to sooooooo many other pink sheet companies out there, this one has a revolutionary product/service that is very real and already in use. Just waiting for the moment that one big company signs on. It could happen any day! Do I think it will happen very soon? Maybe not, but we will never know until it is to late! Some Fortune 100 company COULD ALREADY BE USING GO800, and we just don't know it yet. No one can honestly deny that it isn't a very real possibility.
GLTA, now the rest of you quit your whining, bickering, etc and get back to constructive chat about GOIG!
GOIG LONG!
Right! And because that moment could happen at any time, any day, and will most certainly catch us all off guard, with folks on here too busy needlessly bickering about this or that, other folks taking big risks by flipping for a few bucks, etc then BAM!, out of the blue a GO800 ad shows up on some MAJOR company advertisement or announcement is made that a huge contract has been signed, etc and in the blink of an eye this things just explodes. I for one absolutely do not want to be caught short on shares when that moment comes.
"You remember back when you could have bought GOIG for half a cent?! Why didn't I buy more?!?!"
I can live with the roller coaster of red & green, for it's big that moment I want to be ready for. Just sayin...
GLTA GOIG LONG!
GOIG is looking good lately, setting up nicely. Hope to hear some feedback on Ike's experience at the Mobile World Conference in Spain. Big possibilities & connections could be made there. It only takes ONE to bust this thing wide open. That is both exciting and frustrating!
GOIG LONG!
Oil9911:
I'm posting but ONE message today 'cause I'm busy...so much for my lunch hour.
1. Yes, Mr. Magone did suggest, as did Sutton prior, that annual 'audited' financials for the year ending Sept 30, 2010 should be out now.
2. All company's are at the mercy of their auditors to complete this process. I deal with this every year at our firm, they tell me a couple weeks, it takes a couple months...why?, because they tell me want I want to hear but there is no urgency on their part, it pads their bill, and they don't really give a sheet about what the company has told shareholders in terms of delivery dates.
3. The increase in O/S has been known for some time now. If this is a surprise to you, follow more closely.
4. The 'unaudited' 1st fiscal quarter financials (ending Dec 31, 2010) for GoIP Global that came out this morning are produced by management, therefore the company CAN ensure they are released on a timely basis (in an effort to be 'current').
5. If anyone expects/expected quarterly financials to be audited, you've got a bit to learn.
6. To be clear, there will be 'audited' annual financial statements (thru Sept. 30, 2010) coming out that should be relatively consistent with the already posted (on Jan. 3, 2011) 'unaudited' annual financial statements. There are also 'unaudited' quarterly financial statements (thru Dec. 31, 2010) that were posted this morning (Feb 15, 2011). For what it's worth, the end of GoIP's second fiscal quarter will be March 31, 2011 and they will undoubtedly again post 'unaudited' quarterly statements sometime around May 15th.
One of the primary problems with this stock (probably all widely held 'pink' and 'penny' stocks actually) is that rank and file shareholders have not educated themselves sufficiently. Consequently, everyone 'sways' heavily one way or another by the slightest of breezes being blown by whomever (and it affects the share price) regardless of whether or not it's right, wrong, factual, BS, speculation, guesswork, material, immaterial, pumping, bashing, or solid due diligence.
If you don't know about certain things, make an effort to try to figure it out. Research what is 'customary' vs. what is specific to just GOIG, read all of the company's filings (I have several binders full), learn about all manner of things that you might not yet understand (including the CEO's preferred shares' conversion capabilities that have been disclosed forever and reflect the control position and issues pertaining to O/S and A/S). If you are questioning it, somewhere there is an answer. An absolute TON of information is available at your fingertips.
Watching a message board all day isn't 'learning'...it's more like panning for gold, you'll have to sift through an awful lot of material to find a sliver of anything valuable. At the very least, get to know the people that know (but try also to understand their motivation at any given time).
I hate when 'new', invariably negative, information comes to light, generally when the share price is already struggling, when the information is actually 'old', has been out for some time, and probably already discussed...it's like 'piling on' long after the play is finished.
Oil.
I did! And I replied just now. Thanks for the tip on it! Excellent place for GOIG investors to go and discuss.
Thanks for posting that feature of the GOIG Facebook page. It is relevent to GOIG and GOIG shareholders. It is also a big part of the social media approach that GOIG/GOIP is using; to engage consumers, shareholders, etc using the various social media means available. Sticking to just one of these, including IHub is a bad idea, all the good companies use many avenues to stay in touch and promote.
GLTA...
Boss, re: your PM. You are correct! Thanks!
GLTA...
The primary reason....market maker manipulation. Secondary reason...a few folks who probably had very unrealistic expectations of overnight success. Just my feeling on it!
The Twitter launch, like any other big project, is rolling out in multiple stages and is ongoing.
GLTA...
Oil, this may be just your "one" message today, but really is well worth just about any hundred other messages! All good stuff, great perspective, based on facts, etc. A must-read for all GOIG investors here!
GLTA...
Steve
BOSS, got your PM, thanks! Looks like you're only showing what I've picked up the in last month or two, not my soon-to-be-long shares. So, please take the number you gave me, multiply that by 3.4, then add 4400. Thanks!
Looks like she's rallying back this afternoon. Doesn't make sense for anyone to sell right now except the fiendish little MMs. It will be nice when they can't do that anymore...
GLTA...
Boss, if you have PM capability, can you PM me with what you show as my share count?
Thanks!
Steve
I believe the confusion is because what Valentine posted was unaudited fins for Q1, whereas what we are waiting for is the audited annual for last year. Make sense?
When the unaudited annual fins came out, we ended that week green.
Glad to see the stickies back up there. Request they be renewed, maintained, etc as long as necessary.
It's interesting that we're down today (at the time of this writing anyway)...no rhyme or reason to it. I'll be glad when these days of instability are over. The day we get uplisted will be a huge sigh of relief!
GLTA...
GO800 Launch Update & Vision
(We also need to keep this one alive and near the top!)
"Remember Names, Not Numbers"
Dear Shareholders,
We at GoIP Global are excited and optimistic about the upcoming launch. We believe Twitter functions as a public social directory for the world, and we seek to become the World’s Social Operator.
As you’ve seen, we’ve hired IF Communications as our PR firm, and they will be directing much of the launch which consists of three rollouts. We did not hire IF Communications to raise money for us, and they are not doing venture capital for us. (Generally, venture capital is for companies before they become public.) That isn’t to say some financial alliance or future synergy might happen due to their many resources and connections, but for now they are focused on spearheading our GO800 public relations and launch campaign.
On Feb 14th IF Communications will be sending out invites through various media forms to industry people, for example, techies, journalists, bloggers, and various VIPs to try our new service. The new GO800 platform will be fully functional, though we may fine-tune some technicals depending on feedback. You might compare this to a Hollywood movie screening.
Over the next two weeks, a second rollout will include more industry users and then, a few days before public launch, shareholders and dedicated followers/fans will be given full access.
On March 1st, our new platform will be open to the world. At this time, any user can register their Twitter name on the platform, free of charge and taking only a few minutes, and then within minutes (if not seconds) their Twitter username will be active as a keyword throughout the United States and Canada. You simply enter in the phone number that you would like connected to your username. Each registered user will have 100 free minutes per month. For additional use, we will have packages to choose from, similar to cell phone packages. You don’t have to be a regular Twitter user to enjoy our service, just signed-up and registered.
We believe we are entering a new social media matrix of remembering names, not numbers. You will be able to connect to friends, family, and brands through names, which we find more memorable than numbers. If any of us lost our cell phone right now, would we be able to recall the numbers of our best friends, family members, or business contacts? Probably not. Phone numbers are slowly becoming outdated, similar to how IP Addresses now hide behind domain names. Welcome to Go800, the World’s Social Operator.
These next few weeks--and months--are incredibly important for us. We are trying to build a user base and enormous consumer audience that will in turn bring brands and businesses, step by step. Think of how many other successful social networks got started: free basic services, build a wide user base, then capture larger clients and charge money for additional usage/services. We are giving away the razor, while charging for blades, as it were. People will get the service for free, try it for free, then decide if they want more minutes and what package might work best for them. Same with businesses, companies, groups, and brands.
As mentioned, the next few weeks and months are very important. There are several voices developing in the market place. For now, the investor/shareholder voice is talking the loudest in the room; in many places this is the only voice. Soon, we hope, a shift will occur. The consumer voice of Go800 will start talking, as in authentic voices who use and enjoy the service. Eventually this voice will become the biggest. The shareholder voice and the user/consumer voice are very different, with different goals. In this early stage, we want to be careful not to drown out the emerging consumer voice. In this regard, it is best to let Go800 and IF Communications do most of the marketing; let us guide the launch.
Here is what helps us, and what will ultimately assist the goals of both voices:
1. Follow GO800 on Twitter.
2. If you follow us on Twitter, put a picture on your profile, and try to round out your profile by following other users, for example, your interests, hobbies, stars, etc. Enjoy Twitter and use the service; see what’s out there; it’s free. (If potential users, clients, and brands look at GO800’s followers, and see just empty profiles/eggs that follow a few users & have few followers, it will look like spam or fake profiles that are setup just to spam/pimp the product.)
3. Retweet GO800 tweets. You might notice that GO800 isn’t tweeting much, not yet. We are building up to it; please follow our lead. Don’t worry, there will be much more soon…
4. Tell family and friends about our new service. They, like you, can register a username on Twitter so as to prepare for securing that keyword; and they can follow GO800.
All that said, I think the things to avoid are obvious. Please don’t spam or pimp GO800 on Twitter or anywhere else. Telling others about GO800 in clever, short, and occasional ways can be great, using a variety of social media; tweeting every hour with exclamation marks or all caps, not so much; doing drive-by Facebook posts, haphazardly and poorly-written, not so much. If people continually spam GO800 this puts the logo and company in jeopardy, puts potential relationships in jeopardy, and we could be reported as spam and shut down. Let’s let the emerging consumer drive Twitter sign-ups, then will come brands and businesses.
A last note akin to this point, I will continue to handle investor relations as in-house IR. IF Communications has been very gracious in answering some shareholder questions lately, but please, let’s let them handle GO800 public relations and the launch, and let them focus on building our GO800 user base. Soon, they will handle the GO800 Facebook (Michelle in particular), which has been dormant for awhile; but remember the GO800 Facebook is for consumers and clients. We have our page for shareholders, GOIG, as in GoIP Global the company.
Turning to the consumer voice again, as our free user base grows, we add value to our network and company. We could have access to a tremendous community of people. This will translate to myriad business benefits, I believe. As the shareholder voice is quieted by the emerging wave of consumer voices, we hope shareholders will reap substantial financial rewards. We are hoping for hockey stick growth, as in step by step then fast.
That’s it for now, more details forthcoming. We hope to release audited financials this Friday; our apology for the delay.
We hope you join us in this revolution and turning point. I’ve been here for over a year, have witnessed the ups & downs, have battled the bashers, the IR firm who must not be named, external challenges along with internal complications, and am still doing all I can for this company and its vision. I still believe we can become a household name.
Remember names, not numbers. As people share their stories, our new story will grow…
Cheers, Brendan Magone

I have scottrade and they took all my GOIG shares and a few other pinks I have. This was about 6 months ago.
B+B, did you ever see my reply to your PM? I can't PM, so put it public. It was harmless enough, yet didn't last too long??? Please let me know, thanks!
Steve
You say that and it's a normal instinct, yet when the last fins came out were about the same yet it was a green day, and I believe a green week!
GLTA...
Those two posts you linked to are "MUST-HAVE" stickies, they should not be replaced any time soon. And come they day they are, they should only be replaced with something as beneficial or more beneficial. This was very clearly not the case here...
As usual, replaced with something much less worthy...
Brenda's last sticky was perhaps the best sticky that has ever been on this board. Absolutely perfect advice for investors how we can help, and how we can avoid untintentionally hurting, the company as it grows and expands.
No rhyme or reason to it, and against a huge majority of objections...
Think we should warn those folks over at that board?
Investculator, welcome! There are 3 of us that I know of here that also have "TSPs". We all work together at the same base. There's also a Marine around here somewhere, and Valentine served a tour in the Army (any service is admirable, even just one enlistment!) I do hope this works out especially for you as I would not normally advise anyone to invest a single penny into speculative stocks unless they first have a good portolfio including IRAs (yourself & spouse), 529 plans for any kids, emergency fund of 3-6 months expenses in a money market or other super conservative fund, a good solid growth portfolio including some solid giants like Wal-Marrt, GE, etc and then go into high risk like anything in the pinks. I use a percentage plan for each of these areas and stick to it like it would be immediate death by lightning if I stray! :)
GOIG is a great place to be for that speculative end of things, but never ignore the other key components of a good all around plan!!
GLTA!
That is pretty cool! All it takes is something like this. Catching that one big break could happen at any time, we would probably never see it coming, then BAM! IT's exciting yet frustrating at the same time...lol
GLTA...
Valentine, good to see you posting a little more often again!
We need more positive yet realistic voices on the GOIG board!
