This is no crash!
Husk - I disagree. We are at exteme oversold levels.
Pokersam - The NDX 60 min, Daily and Weekly RSI(5) are all at or below 30. MACD(12,26,9) 60 min Bearish side, Daily is doing a bearish cross, Weekly on the bearish side.
Barcharts is showing 10 of 13 indicators as sell.

We are in extreme oversold conditions here.
Added to my longs at 38.04
Poker - The Fed Vice Chairman just made some comments causing the market to tank.
Poker - I think in about an hour we will know. I'm guessing up.
Tictac - So maybe we get a bad job report tomorrow. That will get things moving up, hopefully.
Tictac - Looks like your chart is currently showing mixed signals. However, it seems to be leaning more bullish. What's your view?
The NDX MACD(12,26,9) 60 min on bearish side, Daily on bullish side and Weekly bearish side.
Bottom Line MACD: indicates more upside.
The NDX RSI(5) 60 min, daily and monthly indicate we have more upside.
Gleno - Your doing good. Keep it up.
Gleno - I've joined you at 38.17. Looks like close to ST bottom here. I hate going against Pokersam.
Isn't PSQ suppose to go up when QQQQ goes down? Looks like PSQ is falling faster than QQQQ.
I added to my long position. It seems more indicators are pointing up than down.
Those holding QQQQ as of June 20th will receive a dividend of .0257 per share. Will be paid on July 31st. Nice little bonus check.

Tictac - So far you have been on the Money! I'm using your chart along with my NDX Daily RSI(5) and MACD(12,26,9) chart.
Your charts are indicating current short position.
The Daily RSI(5) is at 45 on the bearish side, however the MACD is currently at a -25 extremely low and recently had a bullish cross.
So my conclusion is that we are close to a ST bottom, maybe around Pokersam's projected 37.40.
Tictac - Got it. Thanks for the info.
Tictac - So if I read this right, we are now short?
MVP same here.
Husk - We are at extreme oversold conditions. The NDX 60 min RSI(5) at 14, Daily RSI(5) at 17, & Weekly RSI(5) at 13.
Pokersam - Projected a 37.30 bottom. We could get there by the close.
Sold all my USPIX that I bought in October. Going long.
Poker - I'll keep my USPIX for another day. Sure was looking good today.
Vestor - If the NDX Daily RSI(5) closes below 30. I will buy long at the close.
Capt J - Thanks for your input. I will keep QQEW on my watch list and wait for the volume to pick up.
Capt J - But with the low volume (around 75,000) isn't it hard to get in and out? I like the price (half the cost of QQQQ), it's almost like a 2X fund.
Woodfish - I agree with ya. Thanks for the input.
Anyone here trading the ETF QQEW?
Anyone here trading the ETF QQEW?
Cruzship - In short the answer is No. However, there are times when an earnings report or other news related event that is released during after hours will spill over to the next trading day thus effecting the next days closing price.
Pokersam - Hope your right. My USPIX that I bought back in October is turning green.
Doesn't AH trading impact futures? And futures impact the next days opening price right? Isn't that correlating?
Glen - Your not the only one. I thought with the futures up this morning that it was going to be a good day. Went out for breakfast and came back to this. Oh well! I still have some shorts I've been hanging onto since Oct, they are starting to look good now.
I bought some more longs at 40.87. So HOPEFULLY we get an afternoon bounce.
Long at 41.80. NDX Intraday 60 min RSI(5) at around 17. Come on Fed!
2X - I think your exactly right. Right now the NDX RSI(5)Intraday 60 min is starting to show oversold conditions. The NDX Daily MACD(12,26,9) is on the verg of a bullish crossover. So I think this afternoon when the Fed reports. We soar for a short rally. Hit the record and then tomorrow CRASH!
KovuLK - Glad to be of service. In my house Dad's computer don't get touched. When Dad gets a new computer, Mom gets the old computer and daughter gets Mom's old computer. When they want an upgrade then it's time for Dad to get a new computer. He! He! Works great!
KovuLK - Correct
2X - Since we are only 100 points from an all time high on the DOW. We could see a new high after the Fed tomorrow.
Glen - If your running windows XP go to control panel/system/advanced/performance/advanced
What is the VM setting?
Mine is 2064MB
2X - Understand you are talking intraday 60 min.
2X - "I think we're going to close at around 41.90, which would trigger Nocona's RSI-5 buy signal."
Correct me if I am wrong. But for Nocona's RSI(5) buy signal to trigger. The Daily NDX RSI(5) must close below 30. Currently the Daily NDX RSI(5) is at 55.33 and QQQQ price is currently at 42.01. I would estimate for the RSI(5) buy signal the QQQQ price would be around 41.40.
Now the Intraday 60 min NDX RSI(5) is currently at about 32.94. So if it went under 30 the QQQQ price would probably be close to 41.90. However, I would not go long on the Intraday 60 min unless RSI(5) was below 20.
Right now on the NDX Daily we are close to a bullish cross on the MACD(12,26,9). A + for bullish.
If the Intraday 60 min falls below RSI(5) 20. Another + for bullish.
