To many cooks in the kitchen, someone wanted mercer out, he was way more than just head of sales, he was Jason's ras Putin. I initially suspected Jay wanted him gone,because this is really Jay and Jason's baby, but I have a feeling rory Welch and mercer were clashing. Mercer was clashing with someone enough to the point where it was mercer that had to go. It could even have to do with the tek system partnership and the direction and shape the role out was taking, in which mercer had a difference of strategy. Lots of cooks in the kitchen and the kitchen is only going to get hotter and more crowded as time goes on. There most likely are many heavy 'advisiors' behind the scene so the dynamics is intense.
We should see a role out soon of the board of directors which will give us some insights into the structure. Think about the acquisitions with each ceo, each ceo has multiple people giving advise and jocking for influence, what Jason and everyone is building here is a big f-ing deal, as Joe Biden would say. A lot is at stake and mercer played his cards wrong, or chased something else, or attended to a family situation.
