Your comments appear to be misleading if we are talking about what Andrew Pitsicalis actually said during his recent interview at convention.
Your take from your own understanding:
Haha, you are manipulating his statements and leaving out half of his comments. Watch 6:20 on, he said IF the FDA passes it and IF approve, then we are onto phase 3 and 4 trials in 1,2,3 years. Home run! You can't miss that. It is so obvious, you can't dispute it. Nice try, Doc.
What Pitsicalis actually said during the interview is:
“...By being able to go in and work with the FDA…to try to do these clinical trials...They’re using it as a form of science so science will bridge the gap that we need...to get where we need to go.”
And a bit later, “...if we pass it we’re in 3rd and 4th stage...4th stage...we’re home run...Last stage...you know...Maybe a year, maybe two, maybe three… OK... But, it’s coming."
Anyone with enough time can review the tape , and hear these same comments starting about six minutes. It takes a lot of patience to get it right. Andrew Pitsicalis has a lot to say about what is happening at CBIS. He is the Brand and Licensing Director, after all.
Here is the link to the interview.
Mexico is much more progressive about drug issues than many people realize. I enjoyed seeing the one-minute video clip about Mexican's "lighting up" so I'll post it again below for those who may have missed it.
It's my understanding the Mexican Congress has decriminalized personal possession for use of all drugs for the last several years. Then Mexico gets hit hard by northern resistance, and is faced with the loss of significant funding. So then the issue of legalization seems to disappear only to return again, and again until they get it right. Mexican's are tired of the same old story which has claimed more than 50,000 Mexican lives. That's a lot of blood.

Nice to see the momentum on the roll towards legalization in Ohio. Thanks for posting. The information was a one-minute 41 second video clip. One finds the link below.
And we also have the recent statement by Nancy Pelosi:
“Medicinal marijuana alleviates some of the most debilitating symptoms of AIDS, including pain, wasting, and nausea. The opportunity to ease the suffering of people who are seriously ill or enduring difficult and painful therapies is an opportunity we must not ignore.
“For these reasons, I have long supported efforts in Congress to advocate federal policies that recognize the scientific evidence and clinical research demonstrating the medical benefits of medicinal marijuana, that respects the wishes of the states in providing relief to ill individuals, and that prevents the federal government from acting to harm the safe access of medicinal marijuana provided under state law. I will continue to strongly support those efforts."
Does anyone still need to wonder which way we are headed?

Thanks for the forward. It seems we are looking good on this issue since Pelosi is ready to make a move.
Notice what she said at the end of her statement:
“I am pleased to join organizations that support legal access to medicinal marijuana, including the American Nurses Association, the Lymphoma Foundation of America, and the AIDS Action Council.

The good thing about Pelosi finally chiming in on the MMJ issue is that she will take legislative action. It's her responsibility to fight for the rights of the citizens of California. State's rights are intended to prevail. She always supports her displeasure with an emphatic response. It should be more than these few words reported in the article.

It's so strange. But I feel more certain then ever about the ultimate success of CBIS. From the midst of all the chaos, I see CBIS standing strong. The metered-trickery is making the actual truth more apparent. CBIS simply needs to stay focused on their mission. The cornerstone is already in place, and the foundation is forming.
"...then you'll literally be able to peel the cancer off..." as stated by Andrew Pitsicalis
It sounds like the treatment is jelling into a potential total craze. Are we gonna peel them scabs away with a little help from Jimmy? Some joker will probably try to collect the throw-away scabs just so they can get into the Guinness Book of World Records.

These are considered specious arguments, and we find them here often since they are tools of deception used to propel a cause. Certain ideologues may actually believe they are doing the right thing to willfully destabilize CBIS. Perhaps, their goal is purely mercenary. How unfortunate for those who need the medicine.

When we get right down to it..."The truth will prevail."
In general, people have better instincts after seeing the "bamboozle-jobs" for so many years. Many are waking up to the reality of CBIS. And time will be our friend. Would love to grab a few more shares without a brokerage fee.

Did you pay attention to the Andrew Pitsicalis interview at the “Patient’s Out-of-Time Convention?” I felt this news got brushed off too quickly by the distraction of Pitsicalis twirling the “fire-stick” on that short video clip. Why is the Pitsicalis interview so important to detractors? Because, he said some amazing things.
The paragraph below is the closest I can get to transposing his stringers of phrases as he fidgets to articulate what he sees into words. One discovers a long chain of thoughts opening up to reveal startling information. What has Pitsicalis actually seen, and heard which might elicit such remarks? I’ll be listening again…for the third time.
“And right now we’re in phase-three, and phase-four with the FDA. So hopefully, we’ll have a topical solution that, if it gets approval to the FDA, ... that we’ll be able to have the first cannabis… American-cannabis product… that you can go…through the pharmacy…to be able to put on your skin… if you have skin cancer or things like that. It will actually lift…you’ll put this oil onto your skin, and it will actually react with the cancer, and pull it out of your skin…and almost scab up…and then you’ll literally be able to pull the cancer off.”
No lack of clarity from his comments. “And right now we’re in phase-three, and phase-four with the FDA.” Many will enjoy hearing… “and then you’ll literally be able to pull the cancer off.”
So, I would like to hear more from Andrew. Anything he might have to offer in writing should be even more concise. Was he authorized to say what he did at the time? Does he stick to the story? If so…Hey Andrew, let’s talk some more about getting this CBIS product into the pharmaceutical system, and how CBIS will be working with government…as you were saying…and the first commercially available American-Cannabis product. Hey! Are you trying to tell me it’s finally something, MADE IN AMERICA?
Let’s try to keep the conversation about where we actually are, and toward where we are headed. This looks like a treasure-trove of vitally important information. The old-dead inflammatory issues being raised on this board need to be put into perspective. If you have current, legally valid claims, then where are they? Please step forward.

Of course, I share your thought:
You know, when you think about it, it all just comes down to short term thinking versus long term thinking and the related greed and fear versus insight and broad, nuanced knowledge and love.
We are living in a period of dramatic global change. One finds cross-cultural parallels concerning an "end-times scenario" threaded throughout a variety of traditions. The Mayan Calendar event of December 22, 2012 is a fresh example. In these models of change the adversarial forces are present too doing their frenzied works of opposition. They "represent" the counterpart of the God-given healing. The healing is born from the chaos. One is finally delivered, but not without effort.
This appears to be the time for the birth of this new understanding to unfold, and CBIS is an overall part of the picture. The old ways of "for me only" are getting picked apart. Though not without a struggle.
And where is the momentum headed in this overall issue? I'm not at all worried about CBIS standing still. Pitsicalis sure had a lot to say. He came across like a very busy man.

Pleased to see Pitsicalis twirling the fire. It shows he is not afraid to get near the fire.
As far as the interview on the couch at the recent Patients Out of Time event in Tucson.... I wondered if he inadvertently offered the part about already being in stage 3, and 4 trials with the FDA? Any way to know for sure? Why would CBIS want to tip its hand to all competition when so many of them remain profoundly hostile, and protectionist. It may be that simple. Or is it? I need to listen again. I thought Pitsicalis was projecting having a CBIS product available in pharmacies in about a year or more. And it sounded like CBIS working with the pharmacies, and everyone else, including lawmakers, and FDA. Is the primary divisive issue between opposing views on this board all about time? Immediate results versus the needs of longer maturing results?

I wish you could learn to relax, and allow a broader perspective to open up.
What is the mission of CBIS? Is there growth potential in their field of expertise? Is there adequate client base? Is there sufficient potential to generate revenue? What is the outlook for demand? Does today's share price adequately reflect the potential value of CBIS? Is there overkill in this area....I mean in the sense of too much competition? Is it gonna get like a pizza joint on every block?
With this kind of a scenario unfolding I would love to scoop up every single share I could with my pocket change. Little numbers become big numbers overtime. I wish CBIS could modernize, and sell shares as easily as a vending machine pops out its condoms. I'd spend a quarter to get two shares now, and walk away with a smile. Let the clown's juggle at center stage while my shares pile up for a rainy day.
Just don't exceed your reach.

We do need patience concerning our expectations since many people have swallowed the "special-interest" disinformation. It will take time to correct this condition. When "Beavis and Butthead" are chowing down on their MJ greens, we are almost there. We are all "well-trained" into shape by elected authority figures. We are left to sort out the good changes from the harmful ones through our designated process of consensus.

Many of us realize our world would be entirely different if the hemp plant had not been labeled a dangerous drug. History was moving another direction until greedy interests took control.
The following information is extracted from an article, "The Marijuana Conspiracy."
* In 1916, the U.S. Government predicted that by the 1940s all paper would come from hemp and that no more trees need to be cut down. Government studies report that 1 acre of hemp equals 4.1 acres of trees. Plans were in the works to implement such programs; Department of Agriculture
In the 1930s, innovations in farm machinery would have caused an industrial revolution when applied to hemp. This single resource could have created millions of new jobs generating thousands of quality products. Hemp, if not made illegal, would have brought America out of the Great Depression.
In 1937, Dupont patented the processes to make plastics from oil and coal. Dupont's Annual Report urged stockholders to invest in its new petrochemical division. Synthetics such as plastics, cellophane, celluloid, methanol, nylon, rayon, Dacron, etc., could now be made from oil. Natural hemp industrialization would have ruined over 80% of Dupont's business.
One acre of hemp can produce as much raw fibre as 4.1 acres of trees. Pulping hemp for paper would produce a strong paper that lasts incredibly long and doesn't yellow with age. Also, using hemp as a raw source for paper would eliminate the need to cut down our dwindling old-growth forests which contribute to climate control and clean the air we breathe.
Every 3.6 seconds someone in the world dies of hunger. Hemp seeds are the most nutritious and economical solution to end world hunger. With an 80 percent concentration of "good fats" our bodies need for good health maintenance and protein with all eight amino acids plus optimum dietary fibre, hemp truly is a "perfect balance" food source.

Don't lose sight of the fact that some doctors are calling marijuana the, "most important vegetable on our planet." Accepting this statement as fact may take time. I suspect this thought creates fear for some people. To shift the perception of marijuana from a "dangerous drug" to "a vegetable which belongs in our diet" may be too much of a stretch at this moment. Though continual reinforcement of this recommendation should prove to be helpful.
The day a waiter asks me if I want MJ greens in my salad will be a new world for everyone. And...it's still way down the road even though ingesting the raw plant provides such wonderful health benefits. For those who may have missed the short piece about the power of raw cannabis, you find the link below.
With a name like Duchamp you should be living the Life of Riley. Try to relax, and visualize another future where you have all. CBIS is leading the way.

I didn't have time to thank you for the link to Ilya Prigogine, the Nobel Laureate who has been an inspiration to Dr. Melameade. This gives me a context to better understand the influences of Dr. Melameade with his impressive soaring intellect. I'll provide just one paragraph from Wikipedia about Prigogine so people can arrive at their own opinion. Also, you find a link to this Wikipedia page below.
Prigogine is best known for his definition of dissipative structures and their role in thermodynamic systems far from equilibrium, a discovery that won him the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1977. In summary, Ilya Prigogine discovered that importation and dissipation of energy into chemical systems could reverse the maximization of entropy rule imposed by the second law of thermodynamics, which only applies to closed thermodynamic systems with no exchange of energy or entropy with the environment.[8]

Thanks, I'm sure you would enjoy reading Franklin's, "Molecules of the Mind." It is written like an adventure story. The theme is about the science of molecular psychology which covers the foundations of neuro-psychology via the research of Candace Pert. The setting begins pre-Prozac building to its discovery. Franklin was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for a series of articles found in this book.
I felt jolted awake by the account toward the living miracle that WE ACTUALLY ARE. It throws me out of time whenever I contemplate the ability of our body to fire-off the 18 million chemical reactions needed to form each three-syllable word. I have not seen any credible arguments contrary to this allegation yet. Not aware of any video links on this subject, but they must exist by now. Consider, this book is about the "older science" which helped move us to where we are today, and now CBIS is picking up the thread, and moving forward.

I see my link to Pat Robertson has faded. There must be something more current for those not aware of this stance by Robertson? How many other former critics of MMJ legalization have shifted their opinions? The financial enrichment aspect of MMJ holds great power, and many States are waking-up to the potential benefits of the tax revenue.
Best Wishes
Thanks, this is critically important information. I notice the information is dated 17-10-11 which I see as a plus since momentum continues to build toward clear thinking. With Pat Robertson now on record to support legalization, the goal toward CBIS prevailing has exponentially increased. I notice ordinary people commenting about the importance of MMJ before I even raise the subject. THIS IS GREAT PROGRESS.

Yes, I've seen indications which point toward hope being a cure. The "placebo-effect" permits consciousness to play an important role in one's healing. We seem to be little more than biochemistry in motion, and the process may be seen as "a miracle unfolding." Perhaps, consciousness does function as a trigger to re-direct one's biochemistry toward a desired healing.
In, "Molecules of the Mind" by Jon Franklin the author points out that for us to form just one syllable, it takes about 6,000,000 chemical reactions. If so, chalk up 18 million chemical reactions firing-off to express each three-syllable word. How quickly is our body functioning to accomplish this? I suspect the speed of our inner messaging system is encroaching on the speed of light. From a quantum perspective, we appear to be little more than "living light" in process. From a quantum perspective the blacksmith's anvil looks like densified light.
For those who feel CBIS represents little more than "hope and promises," look again. Such pejorative conclusions appear to lack truth, and reasoned insight. It looks like CBIS detractors have lost any semblance of a "big-stick." They are fortunate to hold a tooth-pick. CBIS is not planning to vanish. Observers are free to sit on the sidelines, and criticize. I will remain a shareholder.

Listening to Dr. Melameade takes a lot of focus. I listened to his conference talk for a second time, and a great deal more came through to me. I hope the tape will remain available. He covered a lot of ground.
The man is not going to waste his time with an obsessive compulsion about the SP of CBIS so "flippers" can stamp their ticket to enter the pearly gates. He seems far too busy for that. Dr. Melameade is not alone. I've witnessed the corporate structure of CBIS forming. CBIS appears to have substance, and momentum flowing in the right direction. The money will follow.
For those who may have listened carefully, you notice his enthusiasm, and commitment to the future of CBIS. I mean he sees a remarkable future for CBIS. I suspect many others do too.

AMEN. Thanks for posting the link.
I just listened to Dr. Melameade's talk at convention, thanks to Louie. He did not come across like a man in distress over the SP of CBIS. Instead, he created a picture about the emergence of the endocannabinoid system while stressing our human importance as a "flow dependent system" which the endocannabinoids are designed to modulate.
Why are we so elegantly created to biologically interact with the cannabis plant? For a very good reason. There is a purpose to the plan, while our elected leaders have chosen a path for us which ignores the laws of nature, and blocks our freedom to live a healthy life. It looks like ignorance may have created our health crisis. Hopefully, this serious error can be corrected.
Clearly, the man speaks on a level beyond the comprehension of the average person. He conveys a professorial demeanor as one might expect. One gets the impression Dr. Melameade knows where his research is headed. He is also seems aware of the challenges CBIS is facing.
We tend to live in a "fast-food" culture which places a premium on speed. The development, and vision of CBIS is not intended to produce "nano-speed" results. Investor's who might be characterized as "nervous wrecks" might consider staying in the Blue Chips so they can relax. I listened to the current status of cannabis science, not hope or promises.

In my opinion, if you are too lazy to do a bit of research, you do not deserve to learn the truth. It's up to you. This link offers an opportunity to see why other people might care about cannabis as medicine. CBIS is REAL. Too late to make this issue disappear. Ordinary people are beginning to wake-up.
I notice this response is not going to the correct person, so let me apologize for that. It was intended for 34786 who raised the issue about hope not being a cure. If the shoe fits, wear it.

Spreadoffence, I sense your vision is the ticket to the future. Market potential for CBIS products is vast. This time in history appears to be the start of another generation of consciousness. One that looks toward the endocannabinoid system for guidance. CBIS is the "gate" opening into the future transformation of planetary awareness. And to think it comes by way of our fundamental ability to assimilate the special properties of a plant that was here all along is truly remarkable.
Best Wishes
I appreciate the quality of your thoughts. I hope you will be able to spread some around during the daytime while the big-mouths are popping-off.
The beauty of being in an MMJ state should be if lots of skin cancers get healed by the CBIS ointment it might make the FDA look bad for dragging A$$.
Best Wishes
Your thoughts beautifully portray my own impression about CBIS. You brought out some strong positive points of awareness. It doesn't take a lot of smarts to recognize CBIS has an exciting future ahead. Anyone waking up to the potential of the endocannabinoid system will want to accumulate, and own any amount of shares. Cool, if CBIS could have a kiosk here-and-there where a forward-thinking person can purchase some shares. There must be a way. At least let the public buy CBIS shares 24-7 from the exterior of their facility. I'll take any amount on any day. It's for my children, and grandchildren who deserve, and expect to see a different world awaken.

Sorry, not able to separate "HEMP-family" issues from CBIS. I feel this "raw-ingestion issue" is the biggest positive I have encountered in a long time. I would love to see the raw-plant become a daily part of my own diet before I pass away.
Why might this seem unusual? Does the truth need to remain buried? Thinking about marijuana as an "essential dietary vegetable" seems like a great start in turning around our "modern-history" from the "dark-side." Of course, you realize eating the raw plant lacks the popular psychoactive properties. CBIS knows how to work with this issue. I do not expect to see rapid change of human-consciousness happening, but we are already seeing a lot of progress.
Best Wishes
If you wish to look toward the future, you might want to evaluate the "health-benefits" of ingesting raw-HEMP. This issue appears to be out-ahead of the mainstream. One discovers compelling new information by reviewing this eleven-minute video.
Why is Dr. Courtney calling marijuana "the most important vegetable" on our planet? Don't expect the beneficial attribute of ingesting MMJ to catch on too quickly, but keeping it in-mind might prove to be important someday. I prefer to make my own decisions in light of the apparent unconscious behavior of our elected representatives.

Have you heard anything about "the 100th monkey effect?"
Wikipedia defines the term:
The hundredth monkey effect is a supposed phenomenon in which a learned behavior spreads instantaneously from one group of monkeys to all related monkeys once a critical number is reached. By generalization it means the instantaneous, spreading of an idea or ability to the remainder of a population once a certain portion of that population has heard of the new idea or learned the new ability by some unknown process currently beyond the scope of science. The story behind this supposed phenomenon originated with Lawrence Blair and Lyall Watson in the mid-to-late 1970s, who claimed that it was the observation of Japanese scientists.
Let's get real! Networking is the vehicle to spread the word.
Apply this same thinking to people spreading the word about CBIS, and one sees a much different picture than your apparent "tunnel-vision interpretation." Have you noticed how fast "important news" spreads these days? It looks like you are "willing to miss the boat."

Gosh, CBIS has moved up to .123 today. Why are so many people paying attention? It does look like people are waking-up to the crucial importance of the HEMP family. It not yet, they will.
How long does one effectively bury the fact that the HEMP family of products has the ability to transform our world into a happier healthier place? And the cost of living will sink to an affordable level. A future worth thinking about.
