The company used the same statement since 2009 which many have point out here, but now the revenue statement has changed...instead of the 9000 listed as cash, it now has $184,000
it has been postulated the at least $100,000 is the newfoundland grant money, so the government most of thought there was something that KATX was on to, they have alot of other options to give grant money to.... and the know mining in Newfoundland...Vale has stated in a confernce that the grant money program was some the the best investment money spent in Newfoundland...KATX handcamp was added to the map as a major exploration seems like alot of forward progress in the eyes of the newfoundland mining and mineral department....Handcamp and on the Baite Verte still leave in question where the other 84,000 came from...
http://www.nr.gov.nl.ca/nr/mines/production/mrip/MINFO-Volume17Number1.pdf
20/80 KATX / Vale split is the way I read it
Close-ogoly Close to a major deal close to an announcement
Close to a major find or two...IMO
When is the next public release of information? Aug financals? claims info...Has anyone found out what the $184,000 in revenue was on the lastest statement.
Heard $100,000 was newfoundland grant
some guessed 25,000 was a Vale payment
Any ideas was to the balance....
Maybe they picked up some gold walking around doing field work?
Thats kinda like finding a bag of money
Making a Jr Gold Exploration Company that trades on the pink sheets (real)...is what the Kat / Vale deal has done.....Never before has Vale signed a option or Joint Venture with a pink sheet listed company..... http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=43197437&symbol=KATX And no amount of *comments* can un do.....this huge fact!
Science is on our side, "Close-ology" Vale and other in Newfoundland know the geology that supports the discoveries....
South Princess Property (Iron oxide/porphyry) so what if they did report the FE percentage..... there is plenty there for an OD deposit....

Speculation and Guess from a claim form that is used to make sure the requirement per claim is spent to keep the claim current that was dated back in Febuary...
Right again that when they drill years away from mining that why the stopped their program
KATX Lucky Close-ology as close as to an elephant as it gets
KATX Lucky 8 miles with copper mineralization at a thickness of 300ft in places. Assay results of 2.5% Cu [/b
No funds in the KATX account, like someone with control of this elephant can't raise fund as needed, just because the no cash in the account does not mean funds are not available

Kat Exploration (OTC-Pink Sheets: KATX) is happy to report that its exploration program carried out this summer on its 100% wholly owned “Lucky” Property has been a real success.
Copper mineralization is quite visible in an old pit near a gravel road and impressive malachite staining along with chalcocite is strata bound within the more sandy beds of the sediments. The horizon that contains the mineralization has been traced for approximately 8 miles with copper mineralization at a thickness of 300ft in places. Assay results of 2.5% Cu were discovered in the most exposed areas within this horizon. The most recent work uncovered several large areas of semi-massive to well disseminated chalcopyrite approximately 4 miles on strike from the open pit which reveals the highest copper grades to date.
This type of environment has the potential to produce low grade, large tonnage copper deposits similar to those of the Zambia copper belt.
To secure an area of interest the company recently staked 1225 acres of new land mass where some recent grab samples produced copper results of .5% along with anomalous gold.

Close-ology KATX Handicamp
The Queen and the USGS maybe this should have been a stickie...
I think we are getting closer to the the truth
I agree that is a great chart and shows how the price of gold peaked and then fell like a rock... Which would be reason enough for them to have stopped their program,,,, as would the continous rise in the chart get reason the handicamp program to begin...
Disagree Close-ology says otherwise
data was from 1989 and the price of gold is now six times higher...all the science as well.....
If the claims were tied up by someone that did not have the contacts and now with KATX and Ken's and crews Vale connections seems to be something in the works....on many fronts...
Otherwise why would the KATX board continue 24/7
The Queen and Homevendor disagree there is mineable gold it is just not being mined....

GLTA
Wishing you best of "LUCKY" hopefully we will know soon
Thanks for taking on the job.
Speaking of the IBOX, it does need some updating...the pic of the Lucky Claim could be updated with the Current claims showing...and how close Vale claims are "Close-ology" I would be great if it was on the KATX site as well
I also think the pic showing all the Katx claim in relationship to Vale claims and JV is a great tool
Thanks for putting in all the work....

KATX and Vale targets that elsewhere in the
world have proved to be major
sources of copper
A similar environment appears to be present in the
Newfoundland Avalon Zone where native copper–
bornite–chalcocite mineralization is present in
redbed–basalt units of the Neoproterozoic Musgravetown
Group on the west side of Placentia Bay (e.g.,
Rocky Cove prospect, Figure 2), near Bonavista Bay
(Princess and Red Cliff prospects, Figure 2), and also
in basalts of the Harbour Main Group near St. John’s.
The sediment-hosted environments, notably the
redbed and volcanic redbed environments, represent
promising grass-roots targets that elsewhere in the
world have proved to be major
sources of copper.
The porphyry environment
is also an underexplored
grass-roots target
that may have considerable
further potential, particularly
in the granitoid batholiths that
comprise much of the Newfoundland south coast. The
possible association of Cu–Au, or Fe oxide–Cu–Au,
porphyry mineralization with the epithermal systems
of the Avalon Zone is also a promising target for a
large part of the central and western Avalon Zone

announce that it has been notified by Vale Exploration Canada
It has happen before......just around the corner...closeology...
announce that it has been notified by Vale Exploration Canada Inc. ("VEC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vale S.A. (NYSE-VALE) ("Vale"), that it will commence a 1,500 metre diamond drilling program on the Red Cliff copper property in mid-October. As previously announced (see news release dated May 04, 2010), VEC has the option to acquire a 60% interest in Cornerstone's Red Cliff and Deer Harbour properties which are located on the Bonavista Peninsula in eastern Newfoundland. VEC is the operator of the exploration programs during the option period in consultation with Cornerstone. The properties are targeting sediment-hosted stratiform copper (SSC) deposits similar to those of the prolific Central African Copperbelt, also of Late Neoproterozoic age.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Cornerstone-Notified-by-Vale-ccn-370796644.html?x=0&.v=1
The company's main focus has been on Sediment-Hosted Stratiform Copper Deposits in the eastern portion of the province. Although copper is one of our main focuses, the company has a great interest in gold properties in and around the central area of the province. One of these is the Handcamp property area that has thus far provided high grade gold numbers as high as 158 g/t. With the discovery of Rare Earth Elements(REE) on our 100% owned "Rusty Ridge" property, the company will expand it's focus in this area as well. With the dramatic rise in gold, copper and silver, the company feels that its focus is in the right areas and will proceed to bring its properties to their full potential
KATX VERY, VERY BULLISH, something significant is about to take place! We agree more and more each day....LOL...

• Junior Exploration Assistance (JEA) program is fabulous. $100,000 toward a multimillion
dollar program speaks volumes. Tells the company that NL is ‘mining friendly’.
Investors are attracted when they see gov’t funding/supporting a project. This money is
spent in rural NL – employing people; buying supplies and goods. JEA funding has gone
into most of the significant finds in the province over the past while.
