wish:As you know: EPS is based on OS, not authorized, so when you convert "authorized to outstanding" it is many times not a positive in my book, but it can be also, depends on why.
I do like it for an accretive acquisition depending on the math.
I am sure this is nothing new to you but the definition makes the distinction for the above:
EPS = subtract divs paid to pref holders (if any) from the net income for a period and divide that result by average # of OS(not authorized) during that period.
34/54 Things should rise a bit and stablize finally due to credibility. Then the next thing and so on lol

To all: even though the timing was off, GP did ultimately follow through with the audited results, as he had promised he would in his PR.
As all of us know:
The 8k was needed for merger validity, and the fact that it is audited as promised, should make it credible to many. **So thank you GP, should you per chance see this post, for having the 8k audited and filed.
As someone posted shareholders have a moving profit target, and that is correct. *My next hope is that we see a PR announcing that oil pumping at a rate of 6500 barrels/ day has commenced, so we can hit our June 07 PR goals for earnings.
Hopefully, no one will bother emailing or phoning for dates, as that obviously doesn't do any good. So we can just sit on our hands from now on, and that way no one has any false/creative dates, other than those in the PRs.lol At least it will dramatically reduce false data and hence reduce the number of errors, real or imagined.

So far this is an interesting ride, with too much coolaid and not enough good scenary. The cool aid should have been Wild Turkey burbon or single malt for some.
Imagine the shorts are happy, and to them this must be a dream come true, but like all dreams folks wake up, and damn that dream is over. And a new one has begun.
I think we are basing and since I added Fri and today I hope I am correct, if not I will wait a while longer.

TNK-BP sells Udmurtneft to Rosneft-Sinopec alliance - source
RIA NOVOSTI. June 5, 2006, 7:58 PM
MOSCOW, June 5 (RIA Novosti) - An alliance of Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft and China's Sinopec (NYSE: SNP) has bought Udmurtneft (RTS: UDMN) from the Russian-British joint venture TNK-BP (RTS: TNBP), a source said Monday.
Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service said in April that it had allowed nine companies to bid for Udmurtneft.
"It [Udmurtneft] has been sold. According to my information, [the buyers were] Rosneft and the Chinese," the source said, declining to specify the size of the deal.
TNK-BP reported that the company's board had finally decided on the sale of the largest oil producer in the republic of Udmurtia, in the eastern part of European Russia, but did not comment on the buyer.
Rosneft also declined to make any official comments.
According to unofficial information, Rosneft joined China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Sinopec to participate in a tender to buy Udmurtneft in mid-May.
Russian oil companies Sibneft, majority-owned by energy giant Gazprom, Russneft, and Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, along with Austria's OMV and Hungary's MOL, were among the companies competing for the controlling stake in Udmurtneft, which accounts for 60% of crude output in Udmurtia.
Udmurtneft, with annual oil production of some 6 million metric tons (120,500 bbl/d), is currently developing 26 oil fields in the region.
It was announced earlier that applications for the tender could be submitted until April 29, and that the TNK-BP board of directors would discuss the auction procedure by late May.
During preparations for the tender, Deutsche Bank, which consulted TNK-BP on Udmurtneft's sale, became the nominal owner of 99.49% of Udmurtneft's common stock, and 88.99% of its preferred non-documentary shares .
OT rbk : before condeming our friends at Halliburton I suggest we find a valid replacement. Guess what, there are none which cover all the things Halliburton does on a world wide basis with just one contractor. The alternative is to have mannnnny smmmalller companies to do the same thing if you can find them and police them.
imo it is important to remember all defense contractors charge for the goods & services they render. I was asked within the last 8 months if I had interest in going to Baghdad area as a logistics operations manager, and the wages were well in excess or 100k plus 3 trips state side per yr. So it is very expensive for Halliburton or any other contractor to provide goods and services over there, since their employees are always in danger (its a war zone) and they don't go for cheap. lol .
Relative to the H2O, as someone involved in Combat Service Support in the Mil for 21+ yrs, I can tell you that water purification units may get water and purify from a number of sources. It is likely that is what Halliburton was doing, using a water source and purifying the H2O to make it Potable for the troops. Water purification units in the Military are at a premium. To me it is very likely that the task was just farmed out to a civilian firm (Halliburton), to supplement supply of potable water. One thing about the desert the troops have to take in a tremendous amount of H2O per day a lot more than CONUS troops have to.
If they were giving the troops contaminated H2O then that is an entirely different charge. Do you know precisely what the charge is and have a link for it.
TIA
I think the base has arrived now we wait. I got some Fri and somemore today. We may start to break loose very soon with some news.
Especially if a PR comes announcing the pumping of 6500 barrels of oil per day $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Out of curiosity, does anyone know the effects of radiation on oil?
Brent: "Thinking of wiring some money over today or soon for more shares.
Brent"
I knew I liked you! I will be waiting for the wire. I promise to just buy NDOL, and maybe a little AURC if anything is left over.

jackshot: interesting Moscow call, if you get a call back be sure to let us know.
Ref your 8k call/filing time, "from your lips to God's ear".
Anyway it is always interesting to hear about those things.

Hi Brent: I think you found that a while back, or someone did. I recall the post a while ago about about the 88 year old woman.
I thought in the same post I saw something about one seller's name actually being listed in an Obitituary Notice, hence perhaps his estate was selling. I think relative to the dead guy, whoever posted that one was really, as gravy says, "really trying to leave no stone unturned".
Let's find the big buyers that is really what I would much rather see.
TIA
john
Brent referrencing the 144 filings:
That is very interesting reading, and at the same time curious, where do you supporse are the planned buys? Is it only retail buyers like us?
What is your opinion as to why this is seemingly so one sided., You would think greed, being what it is, that some would have huge planned buys listed. I thought planned buys as well as sales were listed on the 144 filings.
What are your thoughts?
TIA
john
glacier: nope I also put that link on RB under "tradeit."
OT just one question makes gravy:
What kind of gray do you make?
We are scheduled to have goose next week, if we our guessing wrong it maybe cooked, and then again if we have guess correctly and if we don't secure it, the goose it is apt to fly north for the summer. So which is it?
TIA
Always remember V Putin was head of illustrious KGB before becoming the Pres.
Spec: one of the more important aspects of the whole thing is added credibility to NDOL/NORTHWEST! Imo Oil India would not do a JV with out the partner, NDOL/ NorthWest being very legitimate. The more of that kind of thing we have PRd by independent sources the stronger the case is for the ultimate SP of the new entity. jmho
spec:Ref: Yukos: think you are correct the auction block is inevitable. The young founding father, just got a 9 year prison term for tax evasion and a bunch of other govn't charges. He was a billionaire (15 billion at last count was his worth) due to Yukos. Yukos had gotten it start by gobbling up weakly/uncontested claims to a bunch of oil properties and hence acquired assets fast and furious for a song. ( that is how I see it and have interpreted my very limited readings on it) .
Then the founding father rich as heck got into politics and support the opposition to Putin, then all hell broke loose and whaaa Laaa!
Just my limited understanding of it.

PS
Since all MB traffic is carefully screened on the MB, perhaps you will note this suggestion. Please consider making BRENT a moderator if he would consider such a post, it would help the board:
He is open minded
Not condescending
Intelligent
Fair and even handed
Actually discusses both sides of an issue, and that is not only refreshing, but really needed on any investment.
I hope I didn't just ruin his chances, by me posting it since I am obviously held in disdain. Perhaps some other Posters will offer up a similar replacement for WS
Sincerely,
jmho as a serious NDOL & AURC Shareholder who would appreciate a 2 sided discourse on my equities.
john!
RBK; agree with you 100% on that one.
Brent:
Vic is merely following other's leads. You are well aware of the pompous and condesending, unbelieving attitude I recieved Friday nite from two I had held in regard, in effect calling me a untruthful. Vic is merely copying their example and just carrying it on more. Censorship is a dangerous thing, as some of recall in our reading of WW2 .
Takes a while two know who is who, but it all gets planner with time.
Stevie: you must have done extensive DD prior to buying a lot of shares of that other company you own a lot of. Good luck but you on the WRONG BOARD.
Your astute purchase was made on "NORTH OIL", never heard of them, but then you were just born SAT I see, just as well, I never heard of you either. lol
Try RB for the board you want
Soroske: you already asked that same question on RB NDOL & I gave you the answer to you yesterday as "tradeit"
Kaigger: Hi Craig, thought when we had our telecon last nite you were in AUSTIN TEXAS. I Just noticed that you invited me for golf in TEMPE, isn't that a ways for a round? Well it is a longggggg way from my area code.lol
I am glad you asked about the list of items we discussed. When do you expect to an answer back on our list? As I said to you last night before your buddy GP interupted us, if he can demonstrate credibility for NDOL then it will spill over to his other company AURC and then you should buy in as soon as that starts happening or when you feel comfortable imo. When NDOL goes north so should AURC
Have a good weekend, you got my # so if he gets you give me a shout.
TIA
Have a great weekend

Guess many here received emails, somewhat similar to mine, which I obviously never got according to a 2-3 people.lol Contrary to what a few think, too much coolaid is a bad thing for investors, that is why I try to abstain.lol
Obviously, we all invest for all sorts of different reasons, and time frames, some long, flip some daytrade, and we all have different expectations time wise. I just wish I hadn't spent the $ on the phone call, what a waste.. lol
It would be nice if all opinions were respected. Here's one Montreal Promise which I was referring to though not in an email. I am quite sure we will get it, the 8k and the PRE 14c both required to legalize the merger. I think it was posted that legally the 8k has to be filed by June 11, or some such, anyway, it so many days after a merger has been signed off on. I can't find the reference perhaps some one is aware of it? June 11 sticks in my old mind, but perhaps it is just too dense to recall, that seems to be a certain view.

Benz your own moderater WALLSTREET recorded here for all to see yesterday. Believe what you like, I know I spoke to him I have the phone bill to prove it.
Forget it, I never did like coolaid
Too late I already bought today!!
There is a lot of support at .35 I have bought a bunch there and it was predicted by at least 5 posters here and on RB that 35 would be a base then move back up. Hope so I'm counting on itlol
sub: correction Parkin is listed now as the CEO for the new post mergered company, refer to latest PR and he is VP Legal for MONIMPEX and PRES. of AURES
Makesum: Sounds LIKE: guess IT IS FORGET the 8k, We aren't doing it now.lol
Actually never were, just thought I would have some fun with the shareholders while I was getting breathing space, I thought if I lied to you it would get you off my back.
oh boy
Ronnie: I was looking for someone mooning me from an outhouse door not your green pic from WoO.
I was trying to think of one accurate email, or phone call with a promise that Parkin actually been accurate on. Guess what, the guy's batting average is 1000, unfortunately for the investors.
When the naked shorting stops, and the daily panic subsides maybe things will get back to normal. For now it seems naked short in the morning and drive the SP down 10% during the sell panic, and then buy back to cover later that day to make 10% per day less commissions of course, then repeat as necessary for as long as folks sell. The float is not material for that scenario.
Makesum was it a joke and he had nothing to say, or are you going to post it?
If you PM ed I didn't get it. lol
