Question - What is a reasonable commission on options? For stocks, I pay 9.95 per trade (unlimited shares) which is reasonable to me for the customer service, etc.
But options contracts cost me 14.95 per 10 contracts. That seems expensive and was going to ping my broker to see if I can get a better rate. Would like to hear other opinions before I ping them.
Thoughts?
Thanks! I'm still learning these and am enjoying flipping them quickly. What better way to learn how they act? LOL!
I bookmarked that site you had the link for and will add that to my list of reading.
I played IBM Puts today. .IBMPA
Opened it a bit before 10am when IBM opened high and went over $116 and the .IBMPA was down to 1.20 from 1.7. My entry was 1.20 and it dropped to 1.15. Then like clockwork, IBM started coming back into the $114's. Sold the .IBMPA @ 1.4 for a quick 15%. I've done this the other way with the calls .IBMDD.
End of day, the IBM puts (.IBMPA) dropped to 1.1 on a rally. If IBM runs again tomorrow AM and drops the Puts to .8 or .9, I'm buying because it will come back enough to raise the Puts back to 1.2 or so.
IBM is good, almost daily, for a $2 move one way or the other and you can play the options both ways no matter which way the stock is trending.
Anyone know of any good stock options to play like this?
Roheex, since I'm banned again from the new board, has anyone questioned the contradiction of Rufus telling everyone they should sue the TA for the 6:1 several months ago, yet, just the other day, he said he was going to file for an increase in authorized shares in his next filing to accommodate them?
Seems that if Rufus KNEW he had to file to increase the AS for the 6:1, that would have been topic in the 10K and directly after that announcement. You know where I stand on this and to me, it's painfully clear that Rufus didn't even think about ALL implications of offering the 6:1. An afterthought, if you will.
Did not anyone question him on this?
Maybe you should ask Rufus if it has anything to do with CSHD. LOL! Don't hold your breath unless you can read emoticons.
I don't care if they admit one way or the other. It's not about the shareholders at this point. It's about a liar at large that poses a threat to the investment community... assuming the SEC closes the case with no resolution. I don't think that will happen but in the end, we are all on the same team. Some on the Rufus boards just didn't know that Rufus was playing opposite of them.
I only hope there will be criminal charges filed against Rufus.
I don't believe I was rude to anyone with the exception of Rufus. But I was banned. Oh well.
IMO, these last few weeks of Rufus changing up the exit and suggesting a "private" company as the exit means the Judge is about to rule in the SEC's favor. I say that because taking away Rufus's ability to be an officer of a public company is one of the actions the SEC has against Rufus today. So the natural alternative is to gain support from the group to form a "private" company.
That's all good as long as the contract written for shareholders makes sense and as long as Rufus wasn't lying about the assets.
Sorry, Ro, Seems Rufus is blocking me from his site. Not banned, I don't think. Just blocking.
Don't let him lead you to believe that I'm being attacked or anything. That dude is such a liar.
NSS must be the best business for crooks to enter. No one seems to be able to bust them. LOL!
In all this NSS mess... Has a single hedge fund, MM, or entity actually been named as being a NSS'er against a company?
It's that pesky, elusive proof that's needed.
What % of OTCBB or Pinks move to the big boards and thrive?
If I were a crooked NSS with ties, etc., I guess I'd target those companies that went public for the sole reason to scam investors also.
Ya. I wouldn't name the company in question either if I just knew without any doubt of the charges of NSS. That would make the blog too real. LOL!
LOL! Here, we agree! Mark this down somewhere. Hehehe
OT - Ro, what do you think about KRY and the Las Cristina's permit? I'm not in it now and just played that run the other day (.krydz). I'm asking because it's a Canadian company.
Man, that looks like a straight up good hold to me. Nice pick!
You don't see the difference between these two posters:
Poster 1 - This stock is the real deal. Only up from here. Just a small pull back but it will continue up! Buy on the dips! I spoke to the CEO and there are things in the works that will blow your mind! Interesting things going on with this stock today.
Poster 2 - This stock is a scam but I picked up 100,000 shares because I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of interest. Ride the momo and protect your initial because in the end, this will fall right back where it came. The CEO is great at lying. Buying now because the chart looks good! Selling when the RSI turns down.
Now, who's going to get through the pearly gates first? The pumper or the realist? LOL!
That's why my portfolio is now only big board plays:
RVI
CHIP
DIGA
IBM (Calls/Puts)
VFC
But, the pennies provide a nice template to learn how to trade, IMO with little risk capital required.
My apologies.
One item that came to mind with this whole "private" business is the CVSU shares. Remember when they were touted as being valued at $30 per share, yet private? I wonder if Rufus is setting up that same scenario for a future reverse merger with a shell next year? Of course, he couldn't be the CEO but he could definitely profit from it. So could today's longs if they hold that long. But they would know they are profiting from a scam. One thing to play the momo on a scam. Quite another to be one of the dumpers at the beginning knowing you are part of the start of another scam that will eventually steal someone else's money.
Sure. Take the accusations to PM then. Good luck!
Can you name a single action by xlr8rs that makes you question her sincerity?
If my 8 year old told me 200 times he saw a ghost in his room with nothing to show for it, I'd stop believing him.
That's kinda how I feel about folks from ch4 saying "there's something interesting going on in CSHD land."
LOL!
What a fight?... sez Rufus.
LOL!
The SEC is to Rufus what Mike Tyson is to Napolean Dynamite. In both "fights", the SEC and Mike have done everything they need to do to win... they are both just waiting for their opponents to fall down.
Ya! What a fight. LOL!
Agreed. To be fair, I did NOT hear Jim's opinion. I only read it (a snipet of it really). And IMO, KRY is a great buy today. I can't see how/why they would invest so much money in Venezuela if there was any doubt.
Good luck.
Well, Cramer didn't pump KRY. He kinda bashed it:
http://www.thestreet.com/story/10406176/2/cramers-mad-money-recap-its-time-to-buy.html
All he said was that he's bearish on that stock.
You were looking at the wrong history:

You have to make sure you are looking at CSHD.PK. Not CSHD.BB. Rufus couldn't maintain a reporting company if his horse's lives depended on it.
Oldie but a goldie:

Lee must be in a constant state of absolute fear that Rufus has made him his next project. Simply unbareable. One can only guess what the status of this project is to date.
Remember when Rufus lied and said there was no C&D from the Humanitarian Group? The proof of it that was provided looked fake. Probably was. However, fact is, the C&D from them AND another one from the Caracass group turned out to be factual.
Fool me once. Shame on you. Fool me twice, thrice, etc... I'm drunk on koolaid. LOL!
I was not aware that the Grand Jury subpoena meant that there was a criminal investigation going on. Wouldn't there first have to be criminal charges filed?
Now wait a minute. You've posted opinion as fact here but you're calling Janice out here?
Q. Can goog, msft, ibm, etc... be shut down/held hostage by a rogue TA??
A. HELL NO!!!! If you dont like the TA, you fire him and get another TA, it is not that tough.
Unless you're Rufus and you think the TA is the incarnation of evil. Then you keep the TA and set a trap for them that you won't act on for years. No brainer here. Hehehe
It's still being traded through brokers that people use to trade stocks. That's how it's still trading. I don't believe there's a need for a TA on a stock that's already issued anyway. The TA job is done. It's up to brokers to allow the buying, selling, covering, etc. of free trading shares.
Of course, no 15c211 means no MM's can publicly make the market by publishing the ask and bid. Still, people will try to buy low and sell high on CSHD... for whatever reason.
If I had gone all in like some have, I'd probably average down as well... especially if I were drunk on koolaid.
You don't know that. LOL! That's crazy. You don't know if they were month to month or annual, or what. You wouldn't even know what entry to look for nor do you know whether or not they had another check book or pay by a credit card. LOL!
There's more proof that the TA was paid than there is of any assets owned by CSHD. For example:
TA is/was there working for CSHD and performing a job. You have to assume they were paid.
Assets were claimed to be "there" but never used for performing business of any sort. Nor can anyone see them. You have to assume, until proven otherwise, they never existed.
Masta - you mentioned that the CSHD bank records were public. I never noticed that 800 million anywhere but in the figment of Rufus's imagination. LOL!
Hilarious!
IMO, the scared money is gone. That retractment is what scared folks off. But it had NO meat in it. Nothing we didn't already know.
But that makes for a great flipping opportunity. The RSI is pointing down but still over 50. IMO, that's a good sign. People sitting at the bid got filled and those people are holding.
Or, the TA responded to Rufus that he did NOT have the Authorized shares to support the b.s. stock divy. I doubt the TA, a vendor of CSHD, contacted the SEC for anything. The TA should and would do what the company asks regardless of what the SEC says as long as the structure and filings support the request.
In other words, the TA doesn't care about the SEC. That is the company's responsibility. Could you imagine what various TA's would go through if what Rufus told you was true? The SEC would have to have a TA hotline manned by about 500 people to support the volume. LOL!
The onus is and always was on CSHD/Rufus to file properly and honestly.
Too bad KRY issued the retrace the way they did. That, IMO, was a missed opportunity to provide additional details to the shareholders that there was no need to panic.
IMO, indecision here because of the conflicting reports. Folks are protecting their investment is all. It should bounce around here for a bit and hopefully continue the upwards movement. Just not as fast as we'd like.
Oh man, all bets are off:
Crystallex International Corp. (KRY CN): The gold miner received an environmental permit for its Las Cristinas mine in Venezuela, Correo del Caroni reported. Neither Crystallex nor Venezuela's Ministry of the Environment have announced that the permit was issued, the Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela-based newspaper said yesterday. Calls to Toronto-based Crystallex after business hours weren't returned. The shares gained 18 percent to C$2.12.
