Yes, I heard and he explained to the best of my recollection he was working with the other note holders who were "investor friendly" (an oxymoron) which is probably why we haven't seen a PR. So, until everything is cleaned up and no dilution with a public announcement I doubt we'll see much buying and/or interest. GL
Agreed, once Bob & Co. get rid of all the toxicity (notes). Some good news would be welcome about now. Wonder when the next show is, he mentioned it on the CC but I don't recall the name or when--but it sounded like a "target rich" environment for new prospects. GL
Nice, but right now it looks terrible at this price--but I'll hold as long as I think Bob's righting the ship. GL
I hope so, sitting on 70 and it's painful seeing red in my account. Keeping the faith like everyone else here, patience will pay off this year. GL
From the link posted:
Ultimately, short-selling in illiquid markets has the potential to ruin a company. Once the stock price is depressed, interested buyers may be wary of the company and sit on the sidelines. The company may need to raise capital by selling additional shares of equity, but either have to sell at extremely low levels, which means the amount of shares they have to sell is multiplied or they simply cannot find buyers at all.
This is where (red) I think DSG is at based on the article someone posted. I don't think we're going to be ruined since I am long here, but like I posted about a week ago people feel burned and we have to get interested investors back willing to believe they have turned the ship around. GL
Yes, I read most of it-very good reading. Thank you. Let's hope Bob gets of out of toxicity real soon, like by March. GL
I hope Bob & Co got the message on the CC that more communication is needed. I understand they probably wanted to "lay low" until they felt things were turning around but it's time to clearly let shareholders know everything happening--especially with all time lows in the share price. GL
Correct, this stock has no doubt burnt a large number of investors over the last couple of years and they've soured on DSG. It will take new eyes on the company to create interest and positive PRs regarding notes, revenue and/or high profile partnership to see interest again. I doubt they would have kicked in all the social media marketing if they had any doubt and the prospects of the company going into 2019. New hires, new found markets and opportunities, plenty of interest in their cutting-edge products bodes well for 2019.
I see good things down the road (2019) and hope my patience and other's here will pay off later this year. GL
Agreed, patience is key here, in my opinion this is a good time to accumulate (which I've been doing for 3 months like many) until we begin to get some fantastic PRs. My shares are set to silver so MM can't play with them, I would encourage everyone else to do the same. GL
Listened to the CC today which was posted in its entirety today. What was most interesting to me was the relationship with their manufacturer, there is something in the works and it could be very good for DSG. The other comment Bob made I think was very positive was they realized they have yet another market, the residential communities. This could be as large as the golf market, demographics are trending older as baby boomers retire so their product (s) aligns nicely with the trend and market.
Bob also mentioned their hiring, this means they are confident in funding and they are expanding. I'll buy more when I can free up some funds.
GL
Like Punxsutawney Phil we have some more time before things brighten up for us. Glad Bob gave an update and explained things are happening in multiple areas of the company which are all positive. I think this summer we'll turn from a gem in the rough to a diamond. GL
I hope someone recorded the call today and post it so those of us who couldn't make it can listen to absorb everything said. Thank you in advance if you can do this for the board. GL
Nice, I'm sure everyone appreciates you taking time (and practice) to do this for DSGT. Everything looks accurate, soon I hope the PPS will reflect you numbers. GL and welcome aboard.
If they are seeking mergers/acquisitions like someone posted here today I have to assume Gunnar is looking for a boatload of money. Just trying to work on that is a full time job with the little time Bob has. I'd prefer them to focus on operations/sales before they even think about becoming involved in something which might take away from their momentum--but have to trust their judgement on this. GL
Been there done that, he's under a TON of pressure to perform sorta makes me feel better his friends and family also have skin in the game. From what I heard things seem on track from the operational side, I was hoping to hear (unless I missed it) more about funding with Gunnar. GL
For next time--prairie [prair-ee] whomever asked. I caught a little of the call, checking post for everyone's thoughts. GL
I moved a meeting around so I can listen in the first 30 minutes. I'll listen to the entire call once someone is kind enough to post it. Looking forward to seeing here what everyone else thoughts are from the call. GL
My top list of things for tomorrow I want to hear in order:
-Funding in place
-Share buyback
-Sales revenues approaching 20m for 2019
-New distribution channels
-Strategic partnership
-Record growth /sales down under (Australia)
I would settle for 3 of these, more is better but I'm not greedy.
GL
I'm hoping a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end, but I'll settle for copper. GL
I did my small part today, added 55,000 shares. What the heck might as well roll the dice! :)
I'm long and the company has made significant progress in the last year so I'll hold on at least until I don't have to pay short term gains next year..but it would be disappointing if we didn't hear any significant news/update tomorrow but I put my money where my mouth is and I think we will. GL
Someone who wants to sell now might have other reasons besides getting insider info, hard to say and it's really not a lot of money in terms of the share price now, but guess we'll all find out tomorrow. GL
Wow, very low volume--me thinks people are waiting for the CC tomorrow. Should be interesting, I hope I can listen live. GL
Bob's has a lot on his plate which is why he signed an exclusive with Gunnar. Let Bob focus on the business and Gunnar and whomever is marketing do their thing which we might hear about tomorrow. GL
Just a novice at penny stocks but it didn't seem like there was dilution today with the price up a click on low volume. We know the sales are good and continue to grow let's just hope debt has been, or shortly will be taken care of. J.Gunnar has an exclusive and I think it's going on 3 months--and this would be something significant to announce on the call.
They (Bob & Co.) must be feeling very confident, cancelling a show which was paid for so they could focus resources on multiple orders and new prospects, let's hope the ship has been righted and we're on our way up to coppervile. GL
I've blocked our obvious shaker on the board, it's very transparent what his agenda is with his continuous, nonsensical post which is mostly old news. I guess everyone needs to make a living. GL
I will be watching the share price closely the next couple of days to see if good news is leaking prior to the CC Weds and their is a spike. GL
Yes, dummies, I thank them for their cheap shares. Everyone has their own reasons, but good luck to them. I just hope it has nothing to do with dilution, we'll find out and much more this week. GL
Same here, this week prior to the might be the last time to pick up shares at this price. Conference call should be interesting, thanks to whomever is planning to record and post it since I doubt I can attend. Great questions already posted, hope Bob answers all of them. GL
I am not sure I can make the call either, but that's a great set of questions. I hope someone can and we can get a much clearer picture of 2019 and forward. GL
Probably take a year and half for them to up-list assuming the revenues really kick in and they meet regulatory requirements. A merger / acquisition isn’t out of the question either. Not to get carried away, but impressive revenue growth in niche industry with cutting edge technology—anything can happen. GL
I was hoping someone would do the valuation, thanks guys! GL
It would be great to finish up this week at 10 or higher. Could happen if we get more eyes here. I think the conference call will help us form a solid base and from there move much higher. It was good they released a PR today, I feel much better about my investment. GL
Thanks for sharing Penny Pincher. I think most of us who are following closely suspected it was a matter of putting their resources in the right place, right time. 121 prospects is great, this probably doesn't include anything from "down under" so I hope the call will update their progress/prospects too. I think silver is not out of the question later this year, copper (in my mind) is a given. I think our patience will soon be rewarded. GL
Exactly what several of us here have been asking for, better communication and an update on progress from the show and funding, etc.
If they can't make the next show due to "all hands on deck" shipping orders I am fine with that, fulfilling orders and booking revenue is more important. Sounds like to got revenue AND can now deliver, the supertanker just made the long 180o turn towards a successful course forward. GL
Thanks for the update. Their communication, or lack thereof regarding the financial condition has hurt the share price in my opinion. A conference call would be a great way to ease the concerns of the health and future prospects of DSGT and provide shareholders with updates on new prospects and signed agreements. Let's see them close some of that $10mm pipeline.
GL
Not to be negative, Mr. Positive, but that could change at anytime. People need to understand it's risk/reward and the wild west in penny land. GL
I've been cost averaging down since I first bought last summer. Adding more shares would really be painful (sorta like catching a falling knife) but it might be a way to recover from a larger loss in a worse case scenario. Unless you think DSGT is going out of business which I don't, it's my only play until things turn around and they obtain funding or really good news (strategic partner/large contract) to move the price up. GL
I didn't realize the second show was so soon, almost back-to-back. That probably does explain it, wait until they both show are finished then give an update. Thanks, I feel a little better now--but really waiting for a PR regarding long-term no toxic funding. GL
Good idea, even if Bob is not paying attention to his share price this is disappointing after a show where they commented it was "great". It would nice to hear of some executed agreements (sales) from the show in a PR so we can try to maintain a floor---right now it seems we're in the basement. GL
