JOTENG....do u still have a position in SGAS?
The point was all the lip service given to agree to disagree. Mr. Rat came out and resorted to all kinds of name calling. But Chad retorted by stating the facts to settle the issue. When I spotted the red flag and tried to bring it to the board all I got was catcalls and boos. All that most people could say was..."well if it goes down i will just sell everything else and buy more"...There is no civil discussion here if you go against the crowd.
I agree with Chad 100%....read it again s-l-o-w-l-y.Its not hard to follow at all.
In the name of peace and good will to my fellow man I am willing to bury the hatchet....as soon as I can find Rato...Christmas cheer everyone.
Im sorry u feel this way.The fact that others cant have the freedom to disagree without being labeled is very sad and very scary.
I understand where you are coming from. Its easy to feel that unless you put on your cheerleading dress and pompoms that others think of you as a basher who's only motivation is to buy cheaper shares. So much for independant thought. Name calling usually follows followed by the the undoing of the wonderful charecteristcs that made this board a learning tool for many.
I will also be watching with interest.
im going to be sitting on a hoard of cash next week and sometimes this a really good feeling.I have a few nonChina plays im sniffing around at.But most of my best ideas come from this board.
Most of the posters here I have a deep respect for and I admit I still have a lot to learn. There are all kinds of reasons for buying and selling. What is right for me may not be what is right for you. I will make some good choices and I will make some bad choices. Selling my CKGT on Monday may end up being a bad choice and I may have to buy back in higher. But for now I will exit on Monday and be watching from afar. I really do wish all the investors here the best of luck with this. Most are a really great group of guys. We have a lot of common stock interests and I always reserve the right to disagree with my friends here without animosity.
You are correct and I was wrong on the timing. I only saw the first 2 Yahoo news on it when I came home from work. My apologies. But it was not a blatant lie but an honest mistake. Yet I still feel the markets has not completely digested the news and thus the delay in the selloff.Another point Im not a troll so lay of the insults.Nor have I shorted here. You must have a lot to lose here or you wouldnt be getting so much in a huff. Im putting you on ignore cuz u cant control your emotions.
Ryan....to each thier own. Whatever works for u bro.
CKGT The news came out around noon and the markets closed not to long afterwards. Towards the end it was on the downhill slide.People had not digested the news and there was not enough trading time left in the day to see a major correction, i do understand that when u have money tied into things you want to look on the bright side of things ,unfortunately the bright side of things here appears to be a nuclear explosion.. I just dont see how anyone can put a positive spin on this about uplistings and known warrants and all.I dont want to lose out either but i just cant wear a smile and put up a smokescreen, And also this does effect the future earnings and not just the past.I hope everyone here does well but im exiting on Monday and if i see that things are in fact stable I can gladly reenter but with a little more peace of mind than I have at the present.See you guys on Monday morning.
CKGT "Obviously, the loss is not a real loss, just a quirk associated with GAAP accounting".my god man . wake up and smell the coffee. I expect my azz to be handed to me on Monday and I hope I can get out at a reasonable price. This wont just fill the gap, it will create a gap. A .22 hit to earnings....come on man. Its not just a poisoned pill its a nuclear enema.Happy Holidays. Time to get drunk on cactus spirits.
CKGT The last hope is that SR will attack the great SNOW witch and steal her magic broom, and bring it to the great wizard CSP.Surely he will know what to do. Yes , he will no what to do because of the wonderful things he does.........
CKGT so much for the "conservative management"....This just blows the EPS out of the water doesnt it?
What the f@&& is this .....As a result of this change in accounting treatment, the company anticipates making a negative non-cash adjustment of approximately $2.7 million to its income statement for the third quarter of 2009, due to the expense incurred on the revaluation of Series A Preferred Stock and A, B, C, and D Warrants with characteristics of liabilities at fair value. The company also expects to record non-cash adjustments in subsequent reporting periods, depending on the changes in the fair value of the company's convertible preferred stock and warrants, which will be subject to, among other factors, changes in the company's share price. This adjustment has no impact on the company’s cash flow or income from operations.
The company intends to file amendments to its Form 10-Q and 10-K for the affected quarterly and annual periods as soon as possible.
....................I almost hate to say this but I think CKGT is going to get the flesh ripped off its bones. This looks very very bad.Might be time to take some off the table and reenter after the blood has drained out of the body. I know there are a lot of people riding this and if you thnk differently I would aprreciate some private corresponce rather than hanging out any more dirty laundry.Happy holidays everyone.Drive safely. Life is more than money. Enjoy time with your family and friends.
Eeeeeeeeewwwwwwww!!!!!.........cheap shot.....lmao
And all along I thought it was your wifes video you posted as your signature.
Nice move on PUDA today. Congrads all longs.
Have him apologize??? Are u crazy. I say we tie him to a big fat blind pig, tar and feather him and parade thru the halls of the Chinadome.
At the annual Chinastockpicker weenie roast, if u have enough membermarks, you get a chance to trade them in for some cactus face cream.
CGDI what I dont like with this, regardless of its "value", is that you must wait and wait for a chance to get out WITH your profit. And sometimes, esp. with these poorly traded issues is that in spite of the "good news" it usually will just keep drifting down.
CEO Wu's interview with China's Business Watch magazine in early December:
http://finance.ifeng.com/news/corporate/...
numbers in perspective
short term:The street predicts a profit of 0.01 for Q4 2009, we know from the CEO interview that they're having very brisk sales this winter, so it's safe to assume the number will be met.
long term:
Again, referring to the interview,
“???,??????????????,??????????????”????????????????«????»??,“??????????????????????????”???????????????,?2009?10?,??????????2010—2012?????,???????, ??3???????????50%????
CEO Wu made it very clear that achieving Q3's result (ie. 60% increase in rev growth, 77% increase in gross profit over same period 2008) wasn't really a great feat considering the enormous potential in Chinese agriculture market. And the company's 2010-2012 3-year growth plan explicitly projects *minimum* 50% year-to-year growth. Let's do the math: 150% for 3 years = 150%^3 = 337%, given this year's non-GAPP income should be at least 0.77, YONG will likely earn $2.59+ non-gapp income 3 years from now. With YONG's high margins, growth rate, and $2.59 non-gapp income, a stock price of $30+ is almost a given. If for some reason, YONG’s margins deteriorate during revenue growth, a $20 stock price is still very realistic.
There are some understandable grumblings about the dilutive equity sales, but now with nearly 60M USD or 400M RMB in YONG's coffer, expansion is no longer a pie in the sky. Also note-worthy is the very high percentage of insider ownership and zero insider stock sales, it should be apparent to all that shareholders' interest and management interest do align as far as minimal dilution and stock price appreciation are concerned.
Short-term-wise, China's stock market is going through a little adjustment in light of government's intervention to prevent a real-estate bubble, hence the apprehension with Chinese ADR in the last few days in general. But long term, one really has to be a fool not to see YONG's potential in the enormous Chinese agribusiness market.
Thats the great thing about this board, lots of differnt types of companies at varies price levels to pick from. Low risk low return, high risk high return.I have quite a mix in mine.
YUII Yep my days of picking up shares under $8 are going to be limited.
YUII P/M trades @$8.30
YONG P/M interest
They are cash flow positive with no debt. Lots of international markets are just opening up for them. It all depends on how quickly they want to expand, according to demand for the product is my guess. So it would come up as a definite maybe.
Well thank u so much for letting us in that the company is getting financial offers. Thats all that really needed to be said.
I was waiting for this question. My good authority is my magic 8-ball and yes i was kidding you. Are u kidding me about your XODG capital raise? Why not give your source? Incidently if u check my previous postings my magic 8-ball is always my secret source of info. It sounds like it might be yours too.
Ok you called the IR to get the info for CPQQ. But why so secretive about your sources with XODG?
i should have held. in and out for a quick 20% gain in an hour.
XODG Its not a perfect world or a perfect stock. But its a dang good long term hold. I have it in my box to hold for all of 2010 along with YONG and YUII. Im still 40% cash.
